Jun 05, 2021
wow, I'm just going to grab a snack, okay, the world's weight is on you, we're waiting in our new creative space,

this

place is doing pretty well and

this

table, you know, technically we know we have to show you that bag of ice cream. still tea, oh my god, you just walked out of a trailer with a bag of iced tea, he kicked that trailer right there, walked out that door, I don't aspire to be much right now, he's living all his dreams, that's his office in a trailer that is already accumulating parts, I don't know, is it from a railroad car or wood, is it a pedal box from something industrial, these bottles, what are we doing with this, honestly, that's a little sick, Who cares, leave it there, are we still building this? place it, there is a lot of work to go to the warehouse our store still has a lot of work in progress.

We have these red Bendpak auto stackers so we can have some cars on display. We have the K Hertz 86 Kazi truck. These things are actually. very red when they're at the bottom, like on the weekends, we pull out three cars to be in front and then the cars that are at the top just sit here and it's not like a big elevator with a lot of poles. It's kind of like a podium for the car to stand on, which is pretty incredible. You don't have the four posts on each side. You can actually see the size of the cars.

More Interesting Facts About,

revealing our 1 500 lb ft diesel swapped camaro is this our ultimate burnout car hhh ep 010...

Yeah, hey, you had a snack. We can start? Want something? Oh, someone. It's those snacks anyway I think we're here to go talk about the uh colemaro one of the cars that was in the stacker you guys have been asking about that secret project there's a dog Hey guys, don't look, don't look. yeah, no, there's nothing to see there, it's okay, that's what we came here for you guys have been asking over and over every day, every episode, where is the

camaro

, where is the

diesel

camaro

, what happened to the camaro, Did Gail Banks kill them?

What happened? the camaro is there and the truth is we know we showed it to you guys in that episode a couple of weeks ago, but we didn't want to do this like reveal it in the middle of showing you all our other crap, we thought we'd make it's own episode to really talk about it upon seeing this. You know, some of the last things you probably saw was when Gail Banks totally roasted us, but it's okay, Gayle is a professional, we're not, we made a lot of mistakes, but In fact, we're going to try to work with the banks on version 2 of this when we get to this, but that will probably be later this year, maybe even next year, you know, the Anderson composite came out very well, yeah, we have the edge, we have the side skirt. look at the ride heights, no one, it's pretty good, oh it's made because of the uneven concrete, you know, if you don't have a super low car but you want a low car, you've definitely taken a photo, it's the best it is.

I sat down in a while and like the delivery partnered with 3m so you know the flat black, the gloss black, the punch right here, man, the things you can still let them know, this is all the Anderson composite, got the big cow hood. fenders doors very bummed about cutting that hood off cuz it's so cute yeah this was scary im super stoked with how it turned out custom rotiforms massive stops technical breaks custom kws i mean this thing is pretty set up i would say my share favorite is the duckbill, I like the trunks with dust beaks, it looks very stylish for all those who didn't see the Knucklebuster series, oh man, more or less what happened here was a couple of years ago, and they built the e36 everything.
It was like taking a popular chassis, buying a shitty car, which was the fourth-generation Camaro, putting them together to make a drift and grip car, and Edelbrock said, hey, we've got these

diesel

cylinder heads. We'd love for them to do another fun build with it, but we. I didn't want to build a bulldozer so the original plan was to take another popular drift chassis which was the 350Z at the time and put a Chevy V8 in it but this time it would be a diesel, well and off I went to the junkyard. it's measured, it doesn't fit the engine itself, it's 35 inches wide and 39 inches tall, so like a 350z it's like 42 inches tall, so the engine would have been almost halfway up the windshield interior that we would have needed as one of those professionals. hoods that go all the way to the roof and I mean the strut towers were about 31 inches, but the engine is 35 inches wide, so that can't happen physically, you'd have to move all those points, we'd have to change everything, like that We thought, okay, what else can we build?
I can't do 350z, so we thought about Dodge Magnum as a truck, yeah, I really wanted to do a Dodge Magnum because I hadn't seen any of those in a long time, but then we decided on the fifth generation strictly by looking at the strut towers, so yeah this thing is super wide yeah just the springy towers look how far apart they are and it obviously still fits really well how much does this motor cost? It weighs, I mean 900 pounds without the transmission and without turbos and stuff, right, without turbos and stuff, we've got two big old precision turbos, a huge gate setup, a big composite setup, it weighs quite a bit and, in addition to The heads themselves are much denser, so they weigh more than the factory heads.
We built this. It was a really long trip because not only was it an engine swap, but since we did a big winter quick swap in the rear, it had to have a really secure roll cage. I did a ton of research on the chassis, but we put this thing up and went to the dyno, it made almost a thousand horsepower like 985 1500 pound-feet of torque 1500 pound-feet of torque which was actually with a boost leak. and that has since been resolved. and that was about 60 to 70 pounds of boost now that should be about what 80 pounds of boost should be now that's a lot of boost that's a lot of boost I don't know what that's going to equate to as far as the power numbers go, but we had afraid to hit 2000 lb-ft of torque, that's why we got this crazy monster transmission.
Those transmissions can take a lot and even they were worried so they had to take this apart and rebuilt their transmission built to take the power of something like this with a huge Thor converter as well and the converter is a very gradual converter because we didn't want all that power hit so hard that we couldn't drive the car, from which we also learned a lot, as if laughter came out. for unicorn versus the world and I think it blew us away, like we built this car with some kind of drag race in mind, we put a drag wing on it, things like that, but what we saw is that the diesels generate so much torque that, lol It runs a huge wing with a lot of angle of attack and it actually helps with traction when it engages because this thing, when you drive it right, just blows up the tires at any speed.
We cut to rolling wear but no, no, is that correct? Now, we tested this thing at the Santa Margarita airport and it didn't burn along almost its entire length. I've even lost interest in going that fast just because this is the best

burnout

RV we've ever had. the best burning machine, although so far it burns effortlessly, it just turns on. I drove it at rancho de santa margarita and it is the strangest driving sensation ever. you go 60 miles an hour and you just touch it and it lights up time no it's not it's also such a strange machine because you're literally bolted to the cage and this thing is pretty well mounted to the chassis so you feel everything .
It vibrates like crazy because this cabin is pretty wild, honestly the most intimidating thing about this car isn't even the engine, it's this restraint seat, the restraint seat just looks dangerous, so I know it's meant for safety, but it seems that's scary. vehicle, like I'm not a big fan of going very, very fast in cars and I wanted to be sure, so I thought who does the most flips, so I looked at the dirt car that was the one that flipped the most, yeah, so I looked. In the dirt car guys and I was like, "Okay, I want one of those seats, the guys that roll 20 times and walk away, I want one of those, but then you got a knife too, oh yeah, I put it in "I put a knife." Just to be safe, can we talk about this back part because I don't remember?
I mean, it was a while ago, so I don't really remember, but what did we do in the back? Then everything changed because this is shit. right setup yeah this is the cup setup basically it's factory irs we took all that stuff out and put in a huge winner 10 and a half damn look at that thing yeah it's a custom monster with kw coilovers and Honestly, I don't remember. the size of the axles but they are they are huge they are huge they are huge they are like the size of my forearm there this thing looks like the axles are huge the whole rear end looks like it belongs on the back of a semi-trailer and that again is taking all the power where we had it assigned.
We're supposed to be around 215 miles per hour max, that's the highest gear we could set with this. I didn't think it would accelerate that high and they just kept pushing it, we could push it even more, we're playing it safe for now because as it stands we have more than enough power to hit our target at 200 miles per hour when we drive it. It was around 145 150 but I mean we don't have the traction to go out and we don't have enough space, yeah when we test it it's turning too much so what we're going to do is actually we're going to team up with ebi autosport, the guys with all the Porsches, because they know a lot about aerodynamics and going fast, so we think we can apply some of their techniques to help keep this thing a little more planted and put power to the ground I'm a drifting guy, that It's not my strong suit to put this on the ground so we have to go with some professionals who can actually do this because at that speed it's quite dangerous and we want this to achieve our goals that we want.
For running we want to do interesting things, we want to have a very, very good trap speed in the mile, so we have to go to someone who knows exactly what he is doing. Do not be an idiot. Can you turn this on because there's something about listening to this idle and looking at a camaro that's just mind blowing it's so much fun like a damn tow so quiet just in case I love the sound turbo turbo sounds great will it send it better now that you're? probably just in case so motherfucker by the way this is a 315 slippery in the back 305 sorry and they're all warmed up and sticky now for you they're actually very sticky and it still doesn't matter uh I'm a bit nervous, I'm not going to lie, yeah, so yeah, I just want to say we were like, oh let's have fire extinguishers on hand, we never had any fires and we also lost Dan, oh my God, because he couldn't breathe, you did. tell him the speed of the wheel based on how melted the tire is look at that tire look at this hot box try to stay there we have a restaurant again we should get our let's do it so you can stay because that's the only reason You have to be the only reason why that I lifted it.
I couldn't even shift into second gear. If it changed one second, I would have fainted. Damn, how long have we had this? So long that it might actually be an accessory that doesn't. I don't know if it's a real gas mask but it has a filter, yes it has a filter, it looks like it will fit very well. I'm going to throw up with this mask on. It's going to be disgusting, oh my god, come on, wow, oh my god. give me a break that's what's going to shut me up that's what you guys are doing oh my god you have tire marks here oh my god that was amazing I think it's hot we should spray it so if you're wondering where the camaro It was right here Look at these markings See that?
No, that was light.
