Rebuilding my Wrecked Nissan GTR Rebuild Part 3

What's going on guys, welcome back to the channel, so in the last GTR video we replaced the entire quarter panel, now let's move to the front. I noticed the minor damage to the frame here as you can see the rebar. They hit me right there. I didn't realize it at first, but I took a better look at this headlight and I know that this is, yeah, it's a little too big here, so I guess the whole front

moved. a little bit, so let's go ahead and get all your stuff out, bring the Frank post here and pull this back

back to spec so we have everything out, now we expose the frame rail here, you want to have to put it back on the rebar so when we pull on one side they both just slowly come back because that's exactly what happened here you barely pushed it in you've got the whole inner core ready to last a little longer than expected there are so many screws on this one part, so let's go. go ahead and bring the frame post up here and get this back to spec so let's get everything nice and dry now we just need to go ahead and put the intercoolers back in and put this big old shield coming up here come on. go ahead and do that now it's nice and small all the way the gaps look good there also over here everything looks great now all the frame work is done on this car so let's go ahead and get it off the frame machine .

Alright guys, we got the car off the frame, all the frame work is done on the car, I actually broke my neck two weeks ago, that's why I haven't been in any videos, but it's healing very well, thanks everyone for all the messages on Instagram and all that, so let's go ahead and get back to working on this car. The first thing we're going to do is go ahead and cover the entire car with clear wrap because we're about to start polishing all of the welds. down so you can finish them all up so we have the car nice and taped up now we need to go ahead and start polishing out all of these spot welds right here that we did we have some up here and then we have some all the Very down by here, so let's go ahead and polish everything up guys, so we went ahead and got everything nice and polished, we also went ahead and took the steering wheel off because we had to do some body work right here where we folded the lip that holds it. the side panel to the wheel well and we also had a little bit of damage right here from where it was on the packaging and I guess it had bowed a little bit so we knocked it down now everything is ready for the body filler, everything we need What we do is we clean the whole surface and put some putty on there okay guys so we have all the filler on the cars everything is nice and dry now when you go ahead and start sanding everything we have a little bit to there, over here, we put a light.

The layer here didn't really require much because the welds were very good and we have a little bit here, we'll just smooth all that out, so let's go ahead and sand. I forgot all the body work done on the side panel, now everything. What we need to do is go ahead and clean everything up and put some primer on it so we get the quarter pounder right and priming everything turned out amazing. We also went ahead and put a black type code in there. so when we sand it we know where we sanded and where we did it now.

I have to show you something really cool on the front of this car. We actually went with a 20-17 front bumper. I think it looks a lot better than the older ones, the older ones are super rounded, this one is a little sharper, it gives the car a really nice look in the front and I'm also looking for a 2017 hood so if anyone do you have one or do you have a carbon fiber one because all the companies I've called are all backwards and no one has one and with that being said let's go ahead and look at the next project right here.
