I'm talking about things like folders and labels and spam protection and autoresponders and email archiving and everything else and if you're thinking of using protonmail for your business know that you can set up custom domain branded email accounts too, so here i'm talking about maybe something like your name on your domain or customer support on your domain info on your domain you have the idea that you can totally configure it in protonmail another feature i want to point out here is the ability to optionally and this is great optionally send self destructing emails ie you can set a timer to automatically delete emails you send which I think is great and you know what actually yesterday I got an email from protonmail announcing a new feature that allows you to unsend an email you just sent, which is also great.

I'm sure you and I have been in a situation where that would have been helpful. quite a few customizations and settings available to you within your proton account, for example you can apply different interface themes, you can configure custom settings and behaviors and other mail settings and don't forget, if you want, you can integrate protonmail into your email desktop client also again like apple mail or outlook or whatever you're using if you want, it's all done by something called protonmail bridge; however, I only stick with the web-based client. I use protonmail through my browser most of the time anyway.

But as mentioned, you can also use Proton's mobile app, which combines your email and Proton's contact manager, all on your smartphone or tablet. The second component of the protonmail service is its built-in contact manager, and honestly, my friend, there's not much you can do. interesting at least to me is the proton calendar, which is what we are going to look at next ok next protonmail comes packaged with a fully encrypted calendar however right now their calendar is still in beta and in fact has been in beta since i have memory functionality wise i've been using protonmail calendar for quite some time and it works really great in fact it's my favorite calendar these days it's intuitive it's functional especially if you're coming from google calendar more on that in just a second with your proton calendar you can create multiple calendars if you need to add and edit events it is simple and intuitive and the calendar provides a variety of views like day, week and month.

If you're migrating from gmail, importing your events from google calendar is an absolute breeze, totally painless, just export your google calendar in dot ics file format. and import directly to your proton calendar i did it myself and it worked absolutely perfectly without a single problem overall my friend i only have two incredibly minor minor complaints here first of all as already mentioned the calendar can only be used in version protonmail beta The second incredibly minor complaint is that the protonmail calendar is only available as a separate mobile app on Android and iOS. Again, though, this is so incredibly minor that it's barely worth mentioning.
