They are simple, the plug covers are very large. I don't know why I have to do this every time I hold something in front of the camera. I have to do this. What's happening to me? So we'll have to be a little creative. what kind of decoration can we put in this kind of awkward space so that's the bat that's the cool thing english let's paint on the socket covers hello from the underworld okay let me give you a quick tour of my outlets this this this I'm going to paint this one too, as well as this one from the Internet.

More Interesting Facts About,

painting all of my outlet covers...

I bought new covers because I was afraid of ruining the originals. They are so unique and clearly irreplaceable. No, so let's open these. Here they are all in the normal sockets. A light switch. two skinnies and one with an Audi before I paint I need to prep my surface so I'm using this very fine hand sanding pad buffer buffer oh that's french okay anyway like ASMR just remove a little bit of that finish and this will help the paint Adhere better if you do this, make sure you use a mask like I was now. I'm going to use this spray primer.

Let me put on my fucking shoes, don't judge them. We are going on a trip. Oh, control what you're looking at. the primer should just help the paint last longer and be more durable the sanding helps the primer stick the primer helps the paint last it's all part of the process plus this was a terrible day to do this it was so cold and a lot of wind blew paint all over my camera, so I spent about an hour on these up to this point and they look basically the same as when we started. Why does this look like a cartoon?

I want to create a background color for each of them using These water-based spray paints I bought for a reason. I don't remember what it was, but today is the day I'm going to use them, so I'm going to choose a different color for each cover and since there turned out to be six, I have the perfect opportunity to make each of them a different color of the rainbow. . Mwah-ha-ha, well then I realized this set doesn't include purple, none, magenta, sure, two different pinks, sure, three different blues, of course, but no purple. Scared, I decided to order purple spray paint, so now I just have to wait a couple of days for it to arrive in the mail.
In the meantime, let's get on with the rest. I'm going to spray paint right here. my art room is a bad idea, maybe I don't have much experience with spray paint, this is supposed to be easier to use because it's in smaller, more manageable cans and it's supposed to be odorless, oh god, I don't know why What does toilet say? It actually had quite a few odors, not as strong as regular spray paint, but it smelled bad, it smelled bad, but that's all I have now so let's get it over with, although it cleaned up pretty easily so that was nice.
Let them dry for several days before the paint finally dries, but now it's time to decorate. I'm using my paste paint pens starting with the light switch cover and I didn't really have a plan as of this point, I was just using the background color as sort of inspiration for the rest of the design, this one will have a rainbow, but this is the only one I promise, also a moon, stars and a sun, since it's a light switch I thought of using. a second day/night layer on and off so yeah this looks like something you would find in a kindergarten classroom yeah not what I was looking for so I'm trying to add some details in there to give it a little bit more flair and a little bit more artistic look and I'm shading and basically the only way you can do it with the pastes is by adding little dots.
I mean, you can also use cross dash shapes, by the way, notice I use the whole rainbow. in the shading of the clouds, I like it. I choose to use the combination of pastes and spray paint because I was envisioning a nice, smooth, clean finish. Minor issue using spray paint in the background. If you make a mistake, it's not that easy. to go over it and fix it is spray paint, that's what we look like, but I don't like certain spots that are in the background, too many spots, so I'm grabbing a palette spraying some paint and I'm going to try to cover it. stains that smooth flawless surface I was talking about, yeah this ruins it so I guess spray paint should be reserved for really talented artists who don't make mistakes all the time.
I'm fine there before and after. You see it? improvement I don't think so, this one is already finished for now, moving on to the orange outlet for this one. I decided to cover it with a candy pattern. Honestly, I'm not a big fan of this orange color, it's a really intense type of orange. I would have liked it to be a little smoother, that's another limitation of spray paint. You will be limited with the colors you can use. Spoiler alert next week. I'll be doing something else that involves spray paint, so I'll get another dose. So, but anyway I just got this new paste pencil that is super thin.
I guess that's the eyeliner. I'm trying all kinds of new things this week. It's pretty good. I enjoy very much. I put a couple of highlights in there to achieve this. a nice juicy look and yes I think this one is very cute. I love those little gummy bears. The next pretty one is yellow. Yes, I am decorating them in the order of the rainbow. Was there another option in this one? I thought it would go well with some strawberries. So I added strawberries and some strawberry flowers and leaves to make it a little more interesting.
I think that was the first time I noticed people decorating these outlet covers with ticking. I don't actually use tik-tok, but I have seen tic toc. art compilations on youtube and that's where I've seen people decorating outlet covers, which is where I came up with this idea, speaking of other social media platforms, I posted a sneak peek of this outlet cover on Instagram as a clue for the video this week that most people could see. Guess what I was doing this week, although a handful of people thought this was a toilet seat. I guess that means my face looks alike anyway.
Follow me on Instagram or something. I don't know. I've been trying to build my Instagram. a very long tangent, I don't even know where it started, but hey, this one is done, the next one is oh no, this is where the problem starts, so this is one of the skinny ones, there really isn't much room to work with, this definitely It was a challenge because you have very limited space and the space you have is interrupted by a giant hole, but for this one I decided to use some very simple little triangle signs that I used to paint all the time, which are super cute and bright.
Cheerful looking old videos are great, right? I messed it up pretty bad, it doesn't hang straight so it wasn't super cute and bright and cheery. I decided it would be best to paint over it and start over, so let's repaint. We're starting over and this time it's going to be perfect and smooth, right? No, remember how I said I had to let the spray paint dry for several days? I had to let them dry for several days, well I did. I don't really have that option when I repainted it because I have to post my video every Friday so I don't have a couple of extra days lying around.
I tried to do it after only six hours of drying and the pastes I didn't appreciate that the paint was cracking a lot, no matter how much I tried to fix it the paint kept cracking but I didn't really have time to start over completely, this was just a waste of garbage, we now have to move on to blue. Another skinny I don't like your type. I tried it with something a little different for this one. I liked a little beach landscape. This was definitely the fastest of all, but I think it's cute and guess what it is, here I finally am.
I'm going to put some color on this one and after just half an hour of drying, this one is completely ready to color with no problems because it was just regular spray paint, it wasn't this nice crap that takes three days to dry. This is nice. I'm definitely struggling to come up with an idea because it has the most space available, but there is something to deal with so I decided to try to use it as part of my design by drawing it as a tree. branch, I guess, and make a cat walking on top of it, although this made the purple background color a little strange because you know why the sky is purple, I don't know, so I added a strange gradient to the background to try I like to design it and make it great.
I don't even know. I don't know how many people would want crazy colors and cat decorations on all their outlet covers. I definitely wouldn't want this in every room, but if you have a fun room or a basement bedroom somewhere that has a more relaxed and playful atmosphere, then I think this can be very cute and this is something interesting, almost not It seems like something I would like. Someone else made this, I did it right, I liked it, okay, now that all the decorations are done right, I'm not going to use this one, so you can leave that kind of shit, okay, okay, I'm using my trusty varnish liquitex.
To protect the paint from the rest, I bought some heavy duty spray gloss, but at this point I was a little tired of spraying things, mess and fumes, so I went back to the old brush and applied several coats. of this and the material is usually quite durable so it should be fine after letting it dry overnight they are finally finished. I'm very happy with how they look overall, with the exception of the missing green. I think the ones I have. The left one really looks nice. I can always redo the green one another time, but for now I think it's a pretty good result, so all that's left to do is change all the old covers, ooh, nudity, there we go, I did it. on the screws with my pastes to help them blend a little better, look better or worse.
I think it helps. This has to be my favorite of all and the next one, Jordan helped me film this and started recording. random things in my room is dead, oh my god you scared me beautiful, okay, okay, okay, and that's the end of spending my week painting my outlet covers. I hope you enjoyed this video and see you next week, bye.
