Feb 23, 2022

first

job parallel parking the motorhome never in my life thought we would parallel park in fact i still cant believe i did it its like i was going to parallel park i barely did i did like you can see these cars can barely move i was like you could go further down the road he says i'm not committed he pretty much did it i just wanted to try it and the place was big enough and how can you look i did I did horrible it's very hard to block this thing but I'll get better hopefully I don't have to parallel park it as often we're still getting used to angles and stuff we'll get there just fine.

Good morning adventurers, we are back on the road with Clementine. by walmart but that's not to say we probably won't stay at a few walmarts along our trip but right now we're just trying to keep it cool you know we don't have all the shades up and stuff so yeah we were to stay here everyone could look in so it's not super private so instead we're going to go somewhere that's going to be pretty private in fact it's going to be private property we're going to stay in a

brewery

and tell you later on how do we set all that up but we're going to take the motorhome out to a

brewery

we're probably going to drink a lot of beer and chill at night completely outside walk to this and be home yeah it's going to be crazy we're going to live in a brewery maybe that's our dream yes for one night we are going to live in a brewery but we fill our water tank we have had solar power charging our batteries all day they should be almost full so what and we are ready to go. grill for the

first

time let's do it but first we have to go to the grill a lot at walmart a little messy that huh that's nice to watch you want to show them what we're going to do oh yeah eric said he wanted something delicious so i literally wrote down delicious dinner ideas and came up with an easy american goulash and it will look like this and i can wait yeah i mean how can that be bad?

More Interesting Facts About,

our first off grid experience in the rv staying overnight at a brewery...

Oh my gosh this is the painful part you guys get gas because this is what is known as a gas guzzler it just goes on and on and on yeah that's one of the downsides of a major. A vehicle like this isn't easy on your wallet when it comes to filling it up, but we're actually going on a road trip in an electric car, another one in a couple of weeks, yeah, so some compensation said a bit. I don't know man I can't see gas being super high right now yeah we picked the worst time to end this old lady because gas is extortionate when we get this out longer term ultimately our plan is maybe drive. like two hours at a time and

staying

for a long time to try to you know you didn't completely destroy our bank account so we were at about a half tank a little over half and it cost us about 44 bucks to fill up the powder, all back on the road, we arrive at our camp for the night.

I'll realize we're very very isolated we've got this whole field to ourselves there's the brewery right there how cool is that yeah we've found the site we've wanted to use for a long time called harvest hosts where you pay a fee yearly and then private companies will let you park your RV

overnight

at places like breweries, farms, all sorts of places, yeah I mean they definitely recommend you spend some money at the establishment like a minimum of 20 bucks but that won't be a problem for us here tonight at this brewery yeah but to give you an idea of this we could park anywhere around here so we pick all the way up against the tree line here and then we have this whole area out of the way for us pretty cool so bad i know it's like us h having our own plot of land our own private brewery and our own little house on wheels the life gets a lot better i dont think so also spring or summer are back you guys are in the 70s right now t shirt weather but yeah this is something we are going to try to do very often in clementine is have some of these unique stays trying to avoid

staying

in campsites all the time you know although tomorrow night we will be in a campsite yes we will because they let you stay more than one night and they have let you know electrical hookups water hookups yeah all that good stuff but this is going to be fun for the first time ever off the

grid

i know we took our last trip but this trip really feels like home now y'all are putting everything to the test on this trip our fridge is as full as we are always learning how to fill this is like a jingle puzzle or something but we have our vegetables our fruits eggs milk coffee everything everything for our dinner for our breakfast Now we are going to make breakfast, everything is there and everything fits.

I'm impressed, so like two days of stuff that's pretty cool and then we're finally using our cabinets. It is full of food. We have a lot. of tomato things that are for dinner and breakfast and fill our pasta and we have these things you our friend Matt recommended this liquid to us about a year ago but we really love these things and you're actually sponsoring the video so we wanted to say a big thank you for supporting this channel and conveniently there at walmart so we just go there to pick one up and then we're good to go this is an electrolyte drink mix and it keeps you super hydrated which it's really important when you stay in places like a brewery we're going to need a little bit of hydration yeah but this one is really cool they just came out with this new guy who is this immune support so it's getting colder it's winter is coming which means cold season is coming which means sickness and now you don't have to worry because you can boost that immune system in your delicious drink. loads of other goodies that help the ol' immune system so you just pour your water add a packet mix it up and then all that's left to do is hydrate we really need to fix these steps they've been given a bit and a day they'll give minor details if you want to try liquid iv and say super hydrate like your favorite adventure there will be a link in the description below they will send you free three packs right to your door but if you are a returning customer they will give you 25 off so you can try the amazing tangerine immune booster which no kidding is our favorite that's the one we'll keep as my favorite so far it's the best flavor for sure but still enough talk no Let's go to have a drink at the brewery back here.
Can you believe the motorhome is right there? The brewery is right there. There is nothing better than that. the flight has a little bit of everything so this really matches all these fall vibes oh love you would say we've had a lot of wins this past week and you'd say like a few days ago this was all covered in just beautiful leaves pristine fall leaves but a lot of them have since blown away okay it's kind of a nice golden hour golden bruise golden hair hair this is their cider and I'm so excited because it's a Lithuanian style cider no we've been to lithuania yet don't worry what that might mean it's supposed to be dry so it's not very sweet which I like oh that's like slightly fermented apple juice very slightly sweetened that's amazing cider is one of those things we always steer clear of just because it's usually too wet but when it's nice and dry it can be quite good and we also get burned on their delicious cider in e he UK, although the word delicious is our favorite word, now it's the best word, the worst cider, the British people watching are going to be very upset.
I tried, I tried good, we're just going to relax, enjoy the rest of this beautiful evening and then head back to Clementine for our first night refresh, hopefully the batteries will last if we don't have 300 amp hours and it's fully loaded, so we shouldn't have any problems, but everything will be working fine. We had solar power on all day so I think we caught a lot of sun rays. This is how solar energy works. solar powered with lights on guys it gets dark so fast i hate it now it's only seven but it's pitch black outside it's like midnight our first

overnight

stay turned out to be a great success we are done hanging out with all the people that showed up at the brewery tons of different couples that had come here and one of them is in a land vehicle one of them is in a b class plus a couple showed up in an old datsun and i said ok mine is a 76 how old is yours and he said nine years older than yours yeah we thought we were the oldest here youngest but oldest but look what allison did this brewery has too whiskey, like it or not, that's what we're drinking right now, it smells very local.
I can smell I don't know it smells like Missouri well it's from Missouri so I hope it was a really nice day today in the 70's like alison mentioned earlier but all of a sudden it was really really cold but it's nice and toasty in the rv so our fleece insulation is running guys we haven't had to turn on the heater yet which is great so right now we are pulling eight and a half nine amps if we run the heater that use a little 12 volt to get this up a bit once we turn all the lights off we're just going to run the fridge that's the main thing that's going to run all night so I think we're going to be okay no I think we're going to use that much battery capacity right now we're at 98.3 so I think this is probably going to go down to a good 90 85 or so but I don't think it's going to be much lower than that but let us know in the morning and we will see how much energy we have c onsumed now. it's time to make american goulash presented by american raw whiskey dinner is simmering watch it ahead i'm going to make ice make ice with allison feeler we have a freezer we haven't used it to freeze things before we had coffee that we want to make iced coffee in the tomorrow so now all the water that we put into the water system is filtered ultimately we're going to get a filter system that we're going to install here so that all the water that comes in from this faucet is filtered twice yeah , it's filtered, going in the water is very clean, this tastes very good oh gosh oh gosh we also used to use this to make coffee ice cubes that's why this side is brown actually they're not weird just coffee stained yes we have our freezer here we have to be careful how to fold it i did it you did it with minimal spillage i hope this freezes and tomorrow we have ice cubes for our coffee oh no i hope it happens everyone is we're in full rv mode here we had dinner tell me it doesn't look much like the picture we showed you earlier the american abomination goulash but as you know our projector screen isn't set up yet so for some reason i wanted to see the fight club, this is my favorite movie. as a kid we're looking at tonight i talked her down well we had such a great fancy night at the brewery and now we're taking it down a notch with our gas station paper plates that's not goulash in the least american that looks more like hamburger noodles it's delicious even though I'm not I'm going to lie okay good morning we survived yet another night in Clementine it was so beautiful actually it got a little toasty in here last time it was really cold when we were camping so it's a nice change, we're on our way to Shekshuka We're just simmering this tomato puree and then we'll add our eggs to it.
I'm very excited. I am very hungry. Yeah, should we try our ice cubes? oh man ok thanks a few water bubbles in them ok probably good enough for some iced coffee yeah i think it will be ok what is this monstrosity? This is what happens when you don't have any container to put your leftovers. I don't want it to spill, so we had blue painter's tape and the dishes might have gone overboard a bit, but it didn't spill. That's enough not to spill. no everything was going so well we could definitely get used to this we have a view of all the trees changing the wind is whipping all the leaves it's wild it's so pretty now the next view should be mountains yes but this was our fantasy when we built this was being able to sit here have breakfast look at the amazing view wherever we park the motorhome and its finally coming true we have two proper chairs that are meant to go here but we still haven't figured out how to hold them when we are driving instead we are just sitting About these little ones, they little fagots, yeah, so they area bit short but they do the trick, they will work just fine. there i totally forgot this was recording i hope you guys enjoyed that time span of us stuffing each other's faces ok it's time for me to shower for the first time and it's going to be completely off the

grid

.
Is this what you expected to see in the next scene? here guys i mean you need to be quick because we're off the grid so we'll keep you to about five minutes or so but dammit that was good one con we noticed is if you turn off the water like when you're getting drenched and fixing your hair and stuff when you turn the heater back on it has to take another five seconds to come back on so the water gets cold for a brief moment but the pressure is amazing the temperature is perfect its a better

experience

than most the airbnbs we've stayed at especially other campers and stuff ok first shower very successful there's a storm I'm moving in or actually I don't know where it's coming from now it's all around us but man the wind whips these trees around here and a all the leaves are coming at us in waves it's really cool a week from now i think all these leaves will be pretty bare and that will be a kind of sad but hey winter's gotta be here you know real quick just wanted to give you guys some more info on our off the grid setup because we usually don't talk a lot in detail about that kind of thing but this is the propane tank original that came with the rv.
I'm not sure exactly how much of this but it's huge and I think it's going to last a long time so it's running, you know, our water heater, our stove, it runs our actual oven and all of those use a little bit of energy as well. 12 volt power, that's why we don't. having so much solar on the roof we only have 400 watts of solar and it really only draws that much if you're in direct sunlight so we haven't really been getting that much juice out of that but it hasn't been a problem because all the rest basically runs on the propane we filled our freshw water tank before we hit the road and it was almost completely full this morning.
We checked that it's down to about a fifth, maybe a sixth of a tank. It's pretty low and we weren't really conserving our water usage and they saw us shower twice. so we're just testing it out and seeing how long the tank lasts so i think we could squeeze two to three days out of it pretty easily i think if we kept a little better and didn't cook such elaborate meals that required such clean up but this is in actually our gray tank right here it's the original one we just restored and put back there a project we sadly couldn't do before this trip is hooking up our level sensors on these tanks so actually i don't know how full this.
We don't know how many gallons it technically holds. dark we have no idea how many we have but i guess it means we will have to find a place to dump and refill our water ASAP but i think that will be enough for our first official off-grid adventure. It was a success. We have only been successful with our venture so far. which is wildly inconsistent with this girl's track record usually everything goes wrong but so far it's been pretty good but as we mentioned tonight back on the net we're going to a nearby koa camp hopefully tomorrow we'll do some fun stuff, though it's going to be like that. cold I don't feel like it much goodbye adventurers see you on the road
