Okay, how do you help people? It's time for a new pattern in pattern focus. Scroll down here. Go down to the Sun or not. Ah, it's next. No one else has made a video about it yet. How pretty is this pattern. this is what we're looking for here, focus, we're aiming for this beautiful kind of fleur-de-lis shape, really pretty, you can do this, I know you can, it seems intimidating, but we'll break it down step by step and find out. together how to draw this pattern. I've never drawn it before, but we can do this, so it looks like the first step we're going to do is make some kind of curve with a loop at the end and they come back curved. kind of a loop at the end and it comes back like a mukha shape, a frond shape, yeah, yeah, look at the long closed teardrop shape, that's the teardrop and that's the drop, you know, the long part, okay , then let's do something. blend one, two on each side, that's easy, the guys have done it before and in the middle we're going to make this kind of very large leaf shape, inside this leaf shape we're going to make three other leaf shapes like that and we'll put a circle, then from that circle we'll go down and around like a spiral down and around like a sort of handlebar mustache and then we'll make this shape right here, so let's like Echo this shape, but going in this direction, go down and turn and then go back like this, okay, and then we just blur it once again twice and you end up with this beautiful thing, it's not so pretty and then you look at the background. she put in some other feathers, she put in some tears, so it's okay, I'll understand in a moment.
ornatata
Okay, so she made some shapes in the background that coordinate with this shape and then look, she also put a torn screen in there too. you see the broken screen, it's here in a corner that's as small as a chess board II anyway, this is beautiful. I'm going to draw a big one right in the middle of my mosaic, I think, and yeah, we're going to turn on my light from then on. My mosaic is not entirely square. I'm going to do it this way because it's wide, so I'm going to do it on the first one in this direction, but if you do it, I need my pen.

More Interesting Facts About,

ornatata...

My next question on my list is: I traveled abroad before, the answer is yes, there is this way and when I come back and do it the other way around, okay, there is that first way. I've traveled abroad before my sort of high school graduation present in the summer between my junior and senior years. Last year there was a big group of us from our high school that took study leave over the summer and we traveled first, we went to Italy and then it was Italy first, we went to Pompeii, we went to Rome and they were all constant trips, so It was with the high school, it was a big group, we had like three kids on buses, it was a good size group, there were probably a hundred people and more companions left outside and we went to these places, we studied the history, we looked at the architecture, the history and then we would have class time at the end of the day or half a day in the middle or while we were on the bus we would have class time and we would have to journal and write little articles about what we learned. in the different cities, look, so we went to Pompeii, we went to Rome, we went to I should be drawing trying to think that we went to Switzerland, we actually saw the Matterhorn, which for me was super exciting.
ornatata
The city where the Matterhorn is located happened to us by chance. there during the period of time where everything is almost like a nap and then the day came where nothing was open, that was a little strange, but they had even scheduled it like that for the tour group, but that didn't happen. looks very good. I'm going to do something here in this corner because I don't think I did anything very well there, but we'll match it up. It should have been more. This one should have followed that line. I don't know where I went here with this tooth shape, um, yeah, we saw the Matterhorn, so we did some things in Switzerland, we did some hiking in the highlands, it was beautiful Switzerland, I thought it was the most impressive of countries.
ornatata
They all have their beauty in different ways but Switzerland was my absolute favorite in terms of just stunning landscapes, where else did we go and then from there we went to France, we went to Paris? I got deathly ill, so I don't remember most of Paris I had the flu, so I know I spent like two days alone in the, you know, I think I remember if we were in a hostel in that one or if we were in a real hotel, some of they were in hostels somewhere we were in hotels I don't remember I just remember I saw the Eiffel Tower as we were passing by on the bus and I barely had enough energy to lift my head and say oh great and then I went back to sleep I was just sicker than a dog, so that wasn't very fun.
I really liked it. Inna has this one coming behind. I really liked it when I'm going to sneak it in because she has it here. I really like it. this little tendril goes out from here and down and then anyway, from France we cross the channel to England and then back home, so those are the places I've been abroad. I would love to go to other places, so that's basically the way. By adding this other thing here, I think I'm going to embellish it. I'm not very happy with what happened here, so I think I'll go a little lower with this form.
This should have been more this way. What I'm going to do is fix it by, quote, just making some embellishments that will hide some of my problems here, okay, okay, that's better. I like that way better. Actually, I don't like this. I'm going to fill that in too, there we go, ah, I like it, okay, so maybe I'll do something here, oh, how cute. I'm going to keep embellishing this and having fun. I think the next question is interesting. ask now, several people have commented that lately there is a lot of talk about God and faith and I say no, I am not hiding the fact that I am a person of faith and that faith is important to me in my life. my life, the questions come from you and I just took them all.
If you go to that page that said the giveaway and the way to enter the giveaway was to ask me a question, if you scroll through those comments, you'll find I didn't make these questions up, I'm just taking them as they are, so you guys asked for this, like this that, you know, if you feel uncomfortable with me, my faith, and my ideas about my faith, you know, turn off the sound quickly. Go ahead or don't see it, you know, I'm just warning you in advance since God is good, so everything is fine, what do you think about this message?
I don't think it's entirely accurate. I absolutely understood, it's good, but that doesn't necessarily mean. that everything is good because there is evil in the world God recognizes that there is evil in the world that is why Jesus was sent so not everything is good now do I believe that the things that are not good God can change and use them? in a good way, you absolutely know, can someone's story about you tell if something bad has happened to someone? Can your story of how that happened and how others can't do what they did? if someone has something to say, for example, someone's testimony about their drug or alcohol addiction if they profess that, that testimony and tell it, let's say they go to schools and tell the children how drugs or alcohol ruined their lives and that in turn helped a young man to choose not to have that behavior which would be to take a good thing and make something good out of something that was not good, but I don't believe that everything in this life is good, there are many things that They are not good, I think that everything that was created in their childhood is good, yes.
Yes, absolutely, in that sense, yes, everything is good, you know, even horrible, horrible people who have done terribly bad things at one point when they were born, they were good, what happened to them in the intervening years to make the evil grew inside him. I don't know, but I think they were good at some point. I'm just playing with this shape and adding things as they come to me. I'm going to turn on my air conditioning. I can't believe it. it's hot it's supposed to be cooling off it was like almost a hundred this weekend again but tomorrow it's supposed to be only like 60 and rainy I'm looking forward to it I want you to want circles again so I've got that one there I want I wanted more but I want more like this - maybe come this way let's see swing like this I'm a little crooked but it's okay I'm just beautifying and having fun at this point okay another question what do I do?
What you enjoy most in your church. What I enjoy most is the camaraderie. The people in my church really care about each other. They were like a family. I think it's almost better than a family because they are people you choose to hang out with. Know? That's what I think I enjoy most in my church. It can be hard because you know people are people and they have flaws so sometimes it can be hard to maintain good relationships in the church and I know some people don't like organized religion because you know, they say there are so many hypocrites in the church. church.
I was listening to a radio show the other day and they actually said you know if you don't go to church because there are a lot of hypocrites in the church but you believe in God but you say you know I'm going to stay home then the church you go to If you attend your Church with a person in your house, the number of the percentage of hypocrites in a church organized in any church on the street is the same. like the number of hypocrites in your church in your house when the only person who goes to church is you, which means we're all hypocrites in some way we all are each of us have opinions and views and things that you We know that we say one thing, we do another all the time because we are people and we are human and we have flaws, that is not the reason to stay home because if you are lucky and I totally agree, not everyone is lucky, not everyone. has a local church where people really care about each other, but if you're lucky, you can find a place where we're true and real, compassion happens and that's a beautiful thing, it really is and I agree, it doesn't happen. everywhere because I had some trouble at one point where I did a little searching and I thought maybe the place I was attending or attending might not be the place I was supposed to attend so I searched a little and I went to other places and I didn't feel the same kind of closeness that I felt when I went to my church, so you know, maybe we are completely different from others.
I'm not sure he's just playing around. Come? that I'm just playing well. I'm simply doing a variety of things that make me happy. You're not necessarily following anything in particular. I'm just playing around and I'm just embellishing evenly. on both sides are not even beginning to feel like this is where I want to stop with the embellishments, maybe like this, yeah, that's a good place for the first place, what was the name of this thing or not? I did or didn't for more ornate. You can stop at the first part, I promise, you can, I just got carried away, it looks like a wedding bell, which is interesting, okay, damn bug bites, they're driving me crazy, look, there's one on my wrist, there is another one here.
Oh, something on my elbow, on the back of my arm, on my ankles, apparently we're having an infestation now in Southern California from a mosquito that doesn't belong here, apparently it came on a boat, that's how they usually do it majority of foreigners. The bugs arrive here in a shipment of plants of some type of Chinese bamboo, I think or something, we ended up with this bug, which is a different species of mosquito that we generally don't have here in Southern California. I have lived here all the time. I've lived somewhere in the Southern California area and have occasionally been bitten by mosquitoes, but apparently the mosquitoes that are native to our area prefer to feast on birds, they are not people feeders, so they usually don't bite you. , It's very weird.
I have had more mosquito bites this summer than I have in the last I don't know how many years and they are just horrible, you don't really notice them right away until it starts to itch, but then when they bite, they really itch and get very red and swollen. At first I thought maybe they were spider bites or something. I wasn't sure if we don't normally have mosquitoes, but then I started reading and there were some articles that talked about them. mosquitoes in particular and how we have to be very, very careful, apparently these particular ones, which I'm used to, will land on you and then keep sucking, sucking, sucking, sucking, and then you notice them and you can like them.
You know, smash them and smash them. This other guy apparently is more of a fly, kind of thing where he barely lands, he's a little bit and it makes you not even feel awake, which is why I didn't know that. that's what I was having, that I was experiencing mosquito bites, but all of us, the whole family, are just suffering, apparently these particular mosquitoes don't live far, they don't travel far, so apparently they only travel about 200 meters. which is not too far away, you know a couple of houses, so the best defense is to have all your neighbors and throw out any kind of standing water and these in particular, generally, I mean, we know about standing water. water them and you know, I think people are pretty good at not letting the buckets andthings stay with water in them, but these particular ones apparently will lay eggs in even any small patch of water and they do so prolifically because they don't know if that little patch of water will dry out, so they will land in even a small puddle of water in the corner of, say, you have a bag of chips or a piece of trash or something like that in the garden. where you just form a small puddle of water about the size of a thimble or the size of a bottle cap with just a little bit of water at the bottom, that's enough water for this mosquito to stop and lay eggs, so it's very difficult to eradicate because You can't just, you know, the vector control people say they used to be able to go into a garden and see the dirty pond or the pool that wasn't maintained properly and say, "You know, this is this." is the source of mosquitoes, you need to take care of this, it is not the case, you know, it could just be a small puddle of water on the back of a leaf that every time you water, this particular leaf fills with water and creates a puddle and it's enough for this damn mosquito to lay eggs there and then apparently not only do they lay their eggs there but their eggs can stick to the edge of the object, let's say it's a piece of trash, a little bottle lid there was enough water in the lid of the bottle for the mosquito to lay eggs the eggs were laid near the edge they stick to the edge the water is thrown out of the bottle cap the eggs remain inactive for up to five years and then the next time they to the bottle cap water gets into it, those eggs will hatch, how scary is that and you can't really see them, oh I don't know, I have a feeling we're going to have a fight with these particular mosquitoes. for a long time so any of you have a natural mosquito repellent that you've tried and it works, it's not something you've heard about on the internet but something you've tried and it works let me know because I don't really want to be spraying chemicals on myself. all the time, but I also don't want to be bitten that much all the time.
I mean, I have them everywhere, lying on my feet, they're on my ankles, they're on my fingers, my wrists, my elbow and my ah, they're everywhere and they drive me crazy, so if you could help one girl and give me some advice and suggestions, if you live in a mosquito country, I know you, there are a lot of people who live where mosquitoes. They are abundant and they do feed on people, you guys usually have a better way of dealing with things than we do here because I've never really been a problem and it's driving me crazy, okay next question while I color, Let's finish trying to finish them in the next few days.
Can you draw without looking at any pattern? Yes, can I draw a particular pattern without looking at the pattern? Some of them I've memorized, not all obviously, but I absolutely can, I could draw. without looking at a pattern like this, I start with a basic shape and then I go on embellishing all this is strong without a pattern, so yes, absolutely, and you can too, you can take any shape, try it yourself, take two shapes. two basic shapes let's say a straight line and a circle and say to yourself: I'm going to draw something, some kind of pattern with straight lines and circles and that's it.
I'm going to use straight lines and circles and I'm just going to repeat whatever I do, I'm just going to repeat it, so maybe I'm going to make a circle and then make a straight line to the side and then a circle in a straight line a circle in a straight line. I'm going to do that as a shape and just make patterns or a circle and five straight lines or five circles and two straight lines or whatever and just make a pattern, you can do that now if it might end up being something. that exists as a named pattern somewhere absolutely possible because you know there are a limited number of patterns that we can think of on our own, many people will have thought of the same pattern, you know, the ancients use patterns for thousands of years, TRUE?
Look at Egypt, look at Greece, look at all the different patterns that exist. People have been making patterns forever. Nobody has a pattern. They may have named it so it could be found more easily in a database, but the pattern itself is not. It's not owned by anyone and you can do your thing without looking at a step, super easy, maybe I'll do it, maybe I'll do it in one of my CPT Inktober lessons or not in lessons, but I have mosaics that I make. for inktober maybe I'll challenge myself to use just one or two shapes and see what I can come up with, isn't it so beautiful?
I love this toned paper. I love this one in particular, this one and the gray one, this one is nice. I love the brown one, these papers are my favorites, here we go, I think I'm done, there's the shape of the base there and I've embellished it around it, you guys do whatever you want with it, it's a lot of fun, I'll see you tomorrow, I'll respond a few more questions, I'll see if I can finish the rest. I have to do a couple of inktobers today too and try to keep up or get stuck or get ahead for when I get back to work.
In a couple of weeks I feel like I won't have time to draw, so I've been enjoying my free time. What is improving. I'll tell you about it in tomorrow's video. Yes, I'll see you tomorrow. See me tomorrow. And guys, have a great day, enjoy your day and go out and do something nice for someone today, okay, see you later, bye.
