Even kidding, we have had 18 addresses in 19 years. I guess I wouldn't change anything so I know a little bit about how to set up the kitchen so if you are curious to see what I have in my kitchen and how I have it If you know it is designed and planned then this video is definitely for you come on To that end, this is my kitchen and I wouldn't say that my kitchen is huge per se. I honestly don't have a lot of storage space in my kitchen. There's no storage under here, there's no storage on the sides, so I really had to be smart in the way I set up this kitchen.

I have a few things here that I'll show you in a moment, but for the most part everything I need is here in the kitchen, so right next to here the first thing is my microwave and my oven. I only have one oven in this house, which is fine, it works, and then down here there's actually a warming drawer. downstairs I have my hot pads, my microwave cover and then my turkey pan and all that because honestly guys we only use that once a year so that's it and then right behind me this is where I keep my claws and dish rags and then down here.

Now I have some things to take out. I will say that the lady who had this house before us was possibly even more obsessive than me when it comes to closets, so thank goodness for her, but she has made it very easy for me to get it. the things here that she needed because there wasn't much space like I said, so this right here is our Vitamix. I save it here and then I also save this one that I linked in one of my favorites and this is just a really fast blender that I bought for my kids so they could make smoothies so the base is back there and then this just screws right into the top and that's all you need, just press the button and then my press or whatever You call that, I have down there, down here.
I haven't looked at these cabinets, folks, so I'm just praying that they're actually kind of put together, but down here my cable is still in the way, sorry, down here. I have my popcorn mixer because we make air popcorn and not microwave popcorn and then here I just have my little chopper. I have my mixer here, and I keep my little paddles down here because I don't want to go. looking for you know the parts of the pieces that I need so I just try to keep everything together and then here's my potato peeler and then upstairs hey Piper she says what are you opening all these cabinets for something funny in this? kitchen, this is my freezer, so back here is my refrigerator and down here is my freezer.
I have two different layers so I have this top and this bottom, don't mind my fat bombs, friends for any of you who are on keto, you know exactly what I'm talking about, for those of you who are not, you are thinking about what at Sam Hill is a fat bomb, so that's my freezer, and I have to be very cautious with how I organize it, so if you guys are at all interested in knowing how I organize my freezer and my refrigerator so go ahead and comment yes please below and that way I'll know it's a video that would be interesting to you and I can go ahead and get that filmed so on the left of my freezer I have some things that I don't really I use a lot, obviously, you know, this is an egg slicer and an apple slicer.
I have some serving items that I don't really use unless we're having a big dinner, you know, like Thanksgiving or Christmas because, honestly, that's the only time I use these things outside of my cake knife or whatever. to be. I use it a little more often for cake and then pastries. what I do at home this is my knife sharpener here and then these things are great. I use them from time to time you just put an egg in there with a little bit of milk and you beat it really fast you put it in the microwave for I think it's like 30 seconds and you have an egg so it's a fun thing that the kids like do from time to time, if we don't have eggs done yet, then to the left of that drawer I just got my spatulas, sorry, not my spatulas, my flippers, my serving spoons like the big ones and my toms, I have a little one small one here that I like to serve casseroles and things like that, and then down here I have one of these that fits in my pots to hold my spoons and then just two of these spoons here, so there's not a lot of stuff again.
I like to group similar things together, so I'm in this drawer all the time almost every single day, so everything I would really need to cook on the stove is pretty much in this drawer here, as opposed to this drawer where I very rarely I'm in that box, so again, putting similar things together helps you keep track. of what's where and where it should go, you know when you put it away, down here is where I keep my Tupperware now. I don't have my kids' Tupperware that I use for their lunches. Let me rephrase some of the Tupperware I use.
I don't have the use for my kids' lunches here, so if you want to see a video about the items to pack my kids' lunch and what I use and how I store all those things that can get crazy, then comment lunch to below and I'll go ahead and show that video to you guys too, but what I have here are just the lids that go on some of my glasses, you know, casseroles, these lids right here all go on these things right here and I love it. put them. in these little containers that are just from the Dollar Tree, but that way I know that every single thing in that little container goes here with this and I'm not looking around trying to find something to go with this Tupperware shaped like these things. right here I just keep the lids on top of the part of the bowl that's underneath so they don't take up space here these things right here I keep the lids while I store them that way, they're not, you know, cumbersome too because some of these lids have little weird zippers which I love, but they make it harder to organize and that way I don't have lids everywhere, these ones here I stack like this when I take them.
Out of the dishwasher I just put the lids on the top bowls on the bottom and the same thing happens here where the bowls are on top the lids are on the bottom just because it's easier to stack it that way for those here , some of them. They're missing because they're in the refrigerator but it's one of those oh what are those are Danish dolls I don't remember my daughter has one from my mother-in-law but they are the bowls that you know fit together and then you end up with just one big bowl, that's what it is and I put them away again like this once you know we're done using the bigger bowls, I'll bring them here, put this inside the lid. upstairs and so on and so I don't have a whole drawer full of lids and downstairs is where I keep my large saucepans my rolling pin and my Silpat I have as many as I have here one two I have two really big ones and then one that is one meter long and this smaller one and then here I just have two of those very large white ones and then on top of that I have two that are this size, so I actually have quite a few in there, but because I stack them together and again it's all like elements together.
In fact, I can put everything in there and you can also see more of what you have once you group everything into similar elements and a lot of times that helps you realize that you are right. I don't need nine huge saucepans, so grouping all your things together that are like items is a little bit more helpful, at least for me, to see exactly what I have and realize what maybe I don't need, so that's it. this little section here friends again I have my wash rags and tea towels down here I have more of my choppers and blenders and stuff like that this whole section here is the freezer here are the items I rarely use this here is all I need for the stove and then down here up Tupperware in the bottom pan then here up my microwave I have this shelf and you'll notice that yes this is darker that's because when we bought the house All the cabinets were that color and We actually painted them because I wasn't willing to pay the money to have them all ripped out just for the white cabinets, so we repainted them and then I changed the hardware here, which was actually silver.
So up here I have my rice cooker, my Instant Pot, my waffle iron, and my frying pan, and that's all I have up there because honestly, that's all I really use as far as those types of items go. and then, here I have all of them. Of my pans up here I only have one ginormous pan that I batch cook with and that's why I keep it up there. In fact, I never noticed until now that this shelf is flipped. I'll have to fix it here. I have my cutting boards. These are the little holders that I put my cookies on when I take them out so that they can, you know, scoop out from the bottom of our pizza pans as well.
This is my plug-in iron. All my cookie sheets here and then the regular size ones. muffin cups and then here I have the mini muffin cups and the jumbo ones and that's all I have up there. I will say that up here you will see that I have the plug for my iron like that. I'm not looking for. look for it or try to find it in a drawer and then obviously here's our refrigerator, to the right of that is where I keep all my mugs and the stuff on top, this is where we keep our fancy glasses, we don't drink, so I only get used to these, you know, for special occasions, Thanksgiving or Christmas.
This is where I keep a couple of my you know, inflatable bottles and just those kinds of bottles that you know you can use that keep your stuff hot and cold for a certain amount of time. time, but the ones in there are too tall to fit in here with the others, so on this shelf here is where we keep all of our coffee mugs, so you know, the ones that you can carry with you and that keep things warm. and cold, we have these little ones that I sometimes use at home, but I can't take them with me because the little handle here doesn't fit in the cup holder on my console, so we use them from time to time. and then right in the back are all the different, you know, that we have for coffee and tea or again for cold items.
Then down here I just have my normal cups. I keep everything white just because it's easy, everything goes together. I've had these, right? It seems like an eternity here, at least five years, I bought them from Target, although I think Target still carries them because they are so popular, so if you are looking for some, they are a great size and I love them again. I had them forever. then down here is where I keep all my coffee and tea. This is where Sam drinks his coffee because he likes it. You know, the k-cups here are my spoons for my coffee.
I just received them from Target not long ago. It makes super amazing, I use them to drink my coffee because I put them in little pods so I can buy, you know, the kinds that I really like, so I have the natural vanilla and then I have a full Jers. one caramel one and then I still love pumpkin spice friends all year round every year here I have my tea and then behind these little pods in a little round Tupperware is where I keep my stevia packets so that that's all I have. there again, like items, folks, I can't stress this enough and then here I have my mixing bowls, you know, to the extent that I shouldn't say mixing bowls, I guess my serving bowls, so up here I have these bowls and lids I actually use. when I cut fruits and vegetables and put them in my refrigerator, as you can see, they're just glass containers that have lids on top, which makes them very easy to stack in my refrigerator and then down here there are different things. where I serve food, a lot of times we do vegetables and this and then here you know more for salads or things like that and then the next shelf is where I keep all my measuring cups, the glass ones and then down Here are some fun cups that I have been given to Over the years people we received this when we left Colorado.
ThisIt's one of my favorites in the fall. She is backwards but says "I'm so glad that." I live in a world where there is October, these ones here my kids like to wear in the summer and then a sharper one, this one here says this is my new favorite, sit still. and I know I'm God, that's my saying , one of my favorite things. I have her a lot in my house and then these here are just tasty little purrs. I love them. Actually, they scream! I'll show you what fits inside. from your cup and it looks like a little guy sitting in a hot tub or some of you might be grossed out, but I think it's cute, so I keep those little guys here.
As you'll notice, I turned my cups upside down because these are things that I don't use all the time and that way dust and stuff doesn't get in there and they just keep it nice and clean. Down here on the left, first of all, we have a small sink. right here, these are our fish and then, here's our ice maker, so that's what there is, this is a drawer that's just for decoration, it doesn't work under here. Oh, see, like I said folks, I hadn't looked at this before. I actually started videotaping this down here is where we keep the vases that I use for, you know, flowers in the summer.
This right here is just a little container that we use to hold the things that we need for our fish and then back there I just have a fire extinguisher and that's all I have in there, not much because honestly it doesn't fit much in there and then , to the right of that is where I keep my hot pads, my aprons, my spoon, you know, for when you're cooking. and you want to put your spoon on something instead of on your counter so these are cute I like these this one says hello beautiful I want a spoon and this one says

life

is short lick the spoon and then that's just a double and then our fish meal , so that's all I have there, so again, these are very similar elements, everything that is practically surrounded, you know, cooking on the stove, that type of thing, obviously, not the fish, so below is where I have all my bags. and I keep things in a drawer because it works to keep everything contained, so I have some snack-sized ones here.
I have my quart size here, some have a zipper, some don't and then I just have the sandwich size here, another sandwich. that's a little different these ones have more portion control so these snacks look like this oh sorry they look like this and then the ones here are just square so I have two different types that I use to store food and lunches and then some bigger ones down here on the foot, so it's just a way to keep it all together again and not be running around the kitchen looking for different things here and there, then down here is where I keep all my foil and my plastic. wrapping parchment paper all that kind of stuff and then I just have an extra gallon sized space because it wouldn't fit at the top and then at the bottom, this is where I keep all my little pots and things that I keep in here. on hand and they're just smaller, just if I have a small amount of something I want to heat in the oven then I'll go ahead and put it in that instead of the microwave, I'm trying to escape the microwave a little bit and that helps me do that and then I have some smaller things that I actually use if I'm making chicken, you know the whole process with the egg and the crumbs and that whole kind of deal.
They are perfect, they are the perfect size for chicken breasts or you know whatever you are breading. I think they work great and they're just Pyrex containers or glass dishes that I bought at Walmart, these right here. I love, you know, putting things in there and cooking them that way and then also being able to store them in my refrigerator and then heat them up. This is where I keep my spices, so I had to get really creative. with this because I don't know if I can make you see or not, this is okay, so here's my finger and it just goes up to there on my finger.
This is a very, very shallow drawer, so I had to get really creative as to how I was going to utilize my space well and have the things I needed right here where I needed them. I didn't want to have to go to the pantry, you know, every time I needed a spice or a drink. Another space in my kitchen that I didn't really have to take up, so what I did was I linked them below, but I found these little containers on Amazon, of course, and they're the perfect size, and then what I did. I just took my label maker and stuck a label on it before you know, obviously, what's in it, so this is a perfect way for me to have all the spices that I use close by and I will. someday a pantry video and I'll show you where I put them, you know, see the ones I leave here and how I store them so they don't take up a lot of space either and then here I just have another condiment that I use all the time.
I have some yeast and some toothpicks, so really not a ton. I mean, this is my spice cabinet down here. I don't have much either. I only have my mixer. I use these two all. The time my mother-in-law bought me this for Christmas, so I have it down there and then here. I'm afraid to open this because I don't know what it looks like. I haven't had my coffee yet today, oh no. bad, I have my coffee maker here and our toaster and this actually slides out like this and then I can push it back in when we're done and it keeps everything off the counter and again, yeah, you'll see this is the old one. color of the cabinets and we have them painted white, then here are our dog treats, we have two bones here and just like the potty treats, we call them here and then I guess I can show you what's on my counter .
I have the Amazon program on there, this is where I keep muffins and stuff so tomorrow is baking day so I'll fill it up and then all my decorative cutting boards remind me of my grandma so I just kind of love them though I don't need more, but I just like looking at them, it just brings a woodsy element to what could be a very sterile kitchen and this is where we keep our fruit like that. in plain sight and kids are more likely to grab that than anything else if they can see it and this cupboard here is where I have all my plates and bowls and like my cake pans, my bread pans up here I have like cake pans that it's all up there as well as my flour sifter and then here just the small plates, here's my butter dish and then these are just little mixing bowls or serving bowls if I have something really small like onions or something like that. that there are four pans back here, so I have two white ones and two blue ones and then down here I start with the everyday dishes, just our plates, our bowls and then our salt and pepper again.
I like to keep everything white because I feel like it goes with everything, I'll have to worry about things that don't match with all that business, then in the next cupboard I have all my mixing bowls up here, I have my strainer with the handle and then my normal strainers here that just sit in the sink mixing bowls here mixing bowls here and then this was really fun. I'll show you this is just a really fun mug that my kids gave me in my stocking and it's just a little toilet, they thought it was really fun so keep that one up here just because it's so big it doesn't really fit in my other cabinets , so I have them there and then I just have our glasses down here, these are just our everyday drinking glasses.
I love these. I've had them for three or four years, they're from Walmart, the Pioneer Woman brand is the brand and then here's my husband's mug, he drinks water or tea or soda out of it and he's had it since, oh my gosh, before I came so I know we've been together let's see he's turning 20 this year 22 so he's had it for over 22 years and then back here I also bought them from Walmart and they have a little place on top of those straw lids, so in the summer, I love those 40s and cold things just to have them on hand, and down here is where I have all my knives and things, my scraper, my corn cob pokers, whatever you want to call them , handles, and here I have my kind of a more accessible knife sharpener and then all my whisks because, again, here's my stove and I whisk a lot when I cook, so I have all of that right there where I need it, here I have all my spatulas , my measuring cups and all that, they're fine, you put them here the other day, it's actually what she uses when she makes her slime, but you probably know damn well, I know I have what I need.
I'll be honest, I've tried. having less and I bake and cook a lot so for me to have this and not have to rinse and wash as I go is just helpful for me and then here I have some measuring spoons here I have I have some measuring spoons but again, all I have fits exactly in this space, if I bring something, you know, from now on I usually take something out just because I don't want this to get completely cluttered and next to that drawer I have my ice cream take my lighters, two pairs of scissors and then here I have my mashed potato masher and then the house call, that's a meat hammer.
I don't know the technical term for it. I have a bottle opener for when we have like sparkling cider my injector for the two times a year we have turkey and then my syringe for those exact two times I also have a lemon or lime press my can opener a timer I could honestly get rid of that , but my children like to listen to the sound, so we use it from time to time. I have two pizza cutters and then my peeler and that's all I have. Oh, and then I have an orange peeler that we eat tangerines with all the time.
I never use that unless someone is visiting who likes oranges/tangerines down here. I just have these two pots, they're medium to large in size and then back there I have my burger press and then downstairs. Here I have two smaller pots. I use this thing here when I make donuts. This here is a masher like the cauliflower masher and then my grater, but this is where I keep all my pans. I have a little small. roller for Chloe that she likes to use and then I have, you can tell they are very used. I have these that I put on top of my pans when I cook something with a lot of oil that way it doesn't splatter all over my counter or stove underneath, that's where I keep my larger pans so I have my wok, this is just a really deep pan and then that one It's one that doesn't have, you know, the normal handle there and then underneath here.
I just have all my general stuff under the sink. I actually set this up and it's there with a little 3m Velcro strip for my paper towels because I was sick and tired of having them there on the counter because I just don't know, to me it was just taking up more counter space, It just looked sloppy and I didn't like it there, so I bought it, I think it was Walmart, and I put it upstairs, downstairs, we just have what Almost everyone has soap under the sink. I have some vinegar spray right here. My garbage bags. sponges.
These are things we use when we clean our fish tank, which I always wash in the dishwasher afterwards. And dishwasher soap and my gloves. So I only have the cutlery. here, which I know someone is going to ask, this is Target's threshold brand and it's black, then up here we just have our metal straws and what I mean are serving spoons and forks and then here on the left I have two markers that You know I write things for the kids' lunches or you know people come over and we use plastic cups and everyone writes their name on them.
I have some lipstick here because you know it's the season and below is where I keep it. It's where I keep our other cutlery that we use more for Thanksgiving and Christmas and that kind of stuff, so I have my serving tongs here that we use for salads, but really these things here are just so you know. special occasions and then the closet underneath is just our trash, two bins down there and then here it's just the light, it's going to be a little difficult there we go, you can see it, that's where I keep the things that I love so much.
I have some mugs in there that my kids made for me. I have a photo of them, which is one of my favorites. My cooking friends are actually very simple. I don't have many things that I don't have. I don't use I feel like everything in my kitchen I use and I just try to keep it as

organized

I hope you enjoyed that video and I hope it gave you a little inspiration to get into your kitchens and start seeing what you have by grouping things together. items and then you know to just place them around your kitchen in a way that works for you, you know where you are when you need those specific items and then you just try to place them in an area that makes sense for what you need to do and where you need those items to be in specific times again if you haven't subscribed to this channel yet.
