I think we could have a big Whopper here, this could be a sagonite agate, it's big, let's wash this, oh yeah, oh wow, it's a huge saginite, look at the details, look at the black needles, look at the red, that will be beautiful, okay? Today we are going to do some calves with this piece. I'm very excited to do this. I was thinking about cutting it lengthwise and making taxis this way, but this pattern looks too impressive to try and risk losing it, so I'll just do it. I'm going to cut it right now like this and we're going to take a look at what we can do with each slice, maybe see what size calves we can make, so I'm going to take this to 10 inches.

High tech diamond slab saw and we're going to cut it, so let's do it and we'll come back and take a look at what we have. Thanks, okay, so I cut it into three slabs, this is what they look like. On the first slab I ended up having this big Jasper material, a little pocket there, but it disappeared on the next slab, so this material is amazing, a lot of chaff runs through it. I'm going to make nice taxis. I'm going to move on from this right now and go see what kind of templates I can make and what size.

I just don't have time to do all four for this video, but I thought it would be a nice contrast to show what they look like before and after doing the big one and one of the little ones, here's what they look like in a pre-cabin form and then here's the finished product, so there's a set of sort of black gray, like a dark green, orange red, pretty cool sunken night. I have to say that there are also some inclusions of something really dark, almost metallic, and I can see that there is one right there. You see that little semi, that little circle.

Look what happens to the light. I see that it is almost like a darkness. It's almost like it's biotite, but I. I don't know if I honestly don't know what that is. I didn't notice it until I started polishing, but it's cool, they're scattered all over the place. You see another one right there, it almost looks metallic. I'll try. put a magnet on it to see if it's hematite, not sure what it is, it'll be hard to identify now that it's polished but anyway yeah there's a bit of a mystery, some locals might ask if you know what it is but this saginite is incredible. just the colors that I have, it's quite rare, I find saginites like this with these colors like black, red and white, they are really cool.
I'm going to keep them in cab form now we'll make these two in another time and they'll all be available once we open our Etsy shop this summer for purchase so I'll probably leave them out of the cabs so whoever wants to buy them can know to keep them like taxis or you can put them on pendants and do whatever. want with them that's today's video hope you enjoyed it I really had fun making them These are really great as always everyone have a great week and we'll catch up on the next one thank you foreigner Anna Catherine Baker graduates with great honor he too the recipient of a 500 at the local community county dentist university
