Nintendo Direct Coming TOMORROW! - Here's What To Expect!

Well, the rumors were true, a Nintendo Direct will be held

on the 14th at 10am Eastern Time, but

. As for what won't be at this event, t

won't be any talk about Nintendo Switch 2. I know a few people. We're hoping they talk about it, maybe a flash logo at the end of the presentation like, oh, wouldn't that be cool, yeah, I guess, but Nintendo isn't ready to talk about this system yet, we're all under the assumption. which will be out in the second half of 2024.

If that's really the case and it's not later, then Nintendo won't want to talk about this until after March 31, 2024. Now, why that date? Because that's the end of their physical year, they obviously want to sell out Nintendo's Twitch systems this holiday season with games like Super Mario Wonder on the horizon and obviously some of these aren't big, high-budget AAA titles from Nintendo, but they still So if you see someone saying oh I heard t

's going to be Switch 2 stuff or I think there might be Switch 2 stuff, I'd probably block them on some social media. maybe unsubscribe from their YouTube channel because I mean they're kind of idiots like things don't get changed at this event but maybe I'm the idiot and maybe I'm wrong but I highly doubt it in this situation.

Another wild card that I think has the potential to be there, but I'm not 100 sold on it yet. It has to be, of course, Metroid Prime 4. Now, the reason I don't feel like Metroid Prime 4 is going to be there is just because we haven't heard anything about this game since the reboot, like there hasn't even been any kind of update from Nintendo or any real inside information about what's going on with this game now of course earlier this year . Metroid Prime Remastered came to Nintendo Switch with a stealth release and then a physical release to follow it, so could there be some Metroid Prime 4 stuff here and then of course you do a stealth release of something like Metroid Prime 2 for the La porting from GameCube to Switch is the only thing stopping me from saying that I don't feel like Metroid Prime 4 is going to be there.

I just don't know. I have a strange feeling about this game. It's just not ready yet and they're not ready to show the game yet. I feel like this is a game that they potentially want to be 90 complete when they show it and I'm not too sure it's actually in that state, but again I could be completely wrong on that. I think a Metroid Prime 4 has a much better chance than the Nintendo Switch 2 in this presentation, but I still feel like it's a bit low, of course there have been a lot of rumors of various titles

coming

to the switch in this presentation, things like a new Donkey Kong now, is it a 2D Donkey Kong, is it a 3D Donkey Kong, is it a Donkey Kong versus Mario March from the minis, that's where a lot of people seem We have different information, we've heard everything from a 2D Mario to a 3D Mario and a smaller scale Donkey Kong game and I think there is a chance that Donkey Kong will be in this presentation, but in what capacity and what style of play, because for me personally, 2D Donkey Kong is great, but 2D Donkey Kong has been around for a long time.

You know, we have the Wii game, we have the Wii U game, like we have all the SNES games, there are tons of 2D Donkey Kong games and tons of 2D Switch Games, I mean, we have, of course, Super Mario Brothers Wonder and Sonic Superstars that will be released a week apart. Do I really need another 2D platformer and this is Donkey Kong or should we revisit something like Donkey Kong in 3D? Let's face it Donkey Kong 64 has aged like cottage cheese and it smells. I can't stand that game. I never played that game as a kid and I finally played it as an adult when I was in my early 20s and thought what this game is.

It's not good, it's not good, the camera's not good, the platforming doesn't feel very satisfying and people are so nostalgic for that game and you know, I get it. I like a lot of older games that might not be good for other people. you know, line of thinking, but to me this game sucks and I think Donkey Kong in 3D Donkey Kong is something that you could go further, you could go crazy with this because there's the lineage of Donkey Kong like there's Woods. In a jungler like you there is so much you could do with Donkey Kong and I feel like this would be something they could really expand on.

I still want a Donkey Konga and I know people laugh at me when I say this. I want a Donkey Kong game in King Kong style is like you start in the jungle and then you start, they take you to New Donk City and it's like a two game story where half the game is in the jungle and the other half in New Donk. City and you have this new interactive dog City where you would like to break things. I think it would be cool, which is why Nintendo will never do it, but I don't know.

I hope it's not a smaller scale Donkey Kong title, but I said, looking at the Nintendo Switch and where they are with game development and where they are with the systems life cycle. I can't imagine them putting a lot of time and effort into a big production of Donkey Kong and it really should have a big production because he's a lovable character with a lot of side characters and stuff, but I feel like a lot could be done with it and they never have, They just stay like there's a Donkey Kong in the jungle here, oh, do you? to dive in here you go oh here you have an ice level for you oh you like the desert we will send it to the desert it's like showing a little creativity with this like go crazy go crazy of course f-zero has been rumored a lot for this event and I honestly hope, I honestly hope that if there's no Metroid Prime 2 at this event and there's no Metroid Prime there, f-zero GX remastered, that'll be the stealth installment because, geez, Louise, I'll be happy as a pig in mud on some screen wide. supports level ups, textures have online play and that's potentially the best remaster you'll ever do because that game is so good, it looks good, it plays good, you play it on GameCube today, it still plays and looks fantastic , but there is a possibility. which isn't like there's any chance of it being something completely new, again, you know, with the end of the switch's life cycle.

I feel like this is where you can go crazy with ideas and you can do whatever you want because software tends to sell this decently, you could sell, you know, two, three million copies of a game that could be completely niche, looking at you Metroid Dread , but you still get your money back because you didn't put a lot of money into the project itself, so I think f-zero I think there's a good chance there's some f-zero here, there's been a lot of people talking about it. I know Nate the hate has been talking about it and then of course you'll get your third party stuff. your surprise stuff, your stealth drops, whatever they are, but one thing I hope to see in this is another Mario sports game.

I think Mario Baseball will be at this event because we got Mario Golf, we got Mario Soccer. which were colossal disappointments and I'm not even necessarily saying that I want there to be a Mario baseball game. I would prefer it to be a Mario basketball game like Mario Hoops three on three, the successor to that, but I feel like there's going to be a Mario sports game in there and for some reason I feel like it's going to be baseball just because we've had games. Mario's baseball game before in the past. It's once again another low risk, high reward project.

People are buying these Mario sports games even though they haven't actually been as good on Switch as if they hadn't had the same kind of polish and polish and fun fact actor as the previous entries that they have on Wii and GameCube. and stuff like that, but I think it's a safe bet for Mario's sports game. makes sense. It lines up with Nintendo's scheduling of things, again it's a game that would be released at the end of a system's life cycle just to get some software sales from people, but I think it's pretty exciting, you know, obviously, we.

You'll probably get something in the p of Super Rich if you know you know it and, uh, Luigi's Mansion, maybe another look at that on Switch with the 3DS version of the game, which I'm really excited about, who knows, maybe Luigi's Mansion get an adaptation of the original. The game has a Switch port and then you have Luigi's Mansion, the GameCube version with some enhanced improvements and things like that, and then you have Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon, which is

coming

in 2024 and then of course you also have Luigi's Mansion 3 on the Switch . Honestly, I think that would be cool, but this guy is the limit with this man, so let me know in the comments section below.
