2 SMB server connectivity through the files app now works in previous beta, you get an error when trying to connect but now you can log in in your server address enter your credentials and connect directly to your server now in my case I am using a Synology nas and I use this Nass to store all my video files so now this allows me to log in and connect to that nas and to access. all my videos archived wirelessly on my local network, so as you can imagine this is extremely useful, not only can I access all the files stored here on this Nass, but I can also store files here and move files from the NASS to my local storage on my iPad I can even play video, although in this case this 4k video with this very high bitrate will be quite slow and choppy when played over Wi-Fi.

Now I could connect to Ethernet if I wanted and it would be much better. Now, another advancement you'll notice and beta-2 is that a PFS now supports external media. Previously if you try to connect an AP FS formatted drive it just wouldn't recognize it but now when you connect it in the files app. It immediately recognizes the drive and you can continue using it, so here's my drive and now I'm going to go to my local storage. Let's find something that we can drag and drop onto the external drive, so I'm going to drag this folder. all the way so we're going to put it right into the Mac subscription 295 external drive and there it is so the PFS format works great and beta-2 the other big feature that wasn't available in the previous beta that now is available.

Available in beta 2 is the high-key monopole travel mode effect, so it creates a kind of look with a monochrome subject on a white background. You will now find drag controls when in edit mode to reorder your list and you will find an updated editing menu when editing each individual list. You'll also find updated glyphs when adding a new list item, and you can access list details by swiping over a list name in the watch app. There's a new wake-up alarm glyph along with a new bedtime. glyph you will find a larger play button in the voice memos app and a new home pod home screen in the home app related to the upcoming ability of the home pod to recognize multiple voices and respond to personal request commands For individual users, you will now be able to need a Home Pod update before this will work and that update is not yet available.

features

focused on the TV OS, such as the ability to add your profile to Apple TV, but you'll need to be running the latest version of the TV OS first. Now you can do it.
