New Escape From Tarkov Info! - Tarkov TV Live Podcast Recap

Feb 23, 2020
What's up guys? I'm just a test. Welcome back to another Escape from Tarkov video. These videos will look a little different. The Battle State Games development team just wrapped up a Tarkoff TV

podcast

where Nikita basically sits down and answers some questions and leaks. some things and talks about the vision for the game, so this is kind of a quick

recap

of everything they talked about. I know a lot of other content creators like to do a deep dive, so definitely check out Those too, but if you're just looking for everything in a short period of time, then that's what it is for my extreme

escape

from Tarkov a few days a the week, so if you haven't visited the channel, all my links will be down. below, but with all that out of the way, let's go ahead and dive in, so I have my notes here on everything you talked about.

The most important thing is obviously that they are working very hard on optimization and getting these servers to a really good place, so they added a bunch of servers around the world. He mentioned that the US is where most of the player race is based and that's where the most difficulties occur, so he talked about adding a bunch of new servers in the US over the next few weeks, so which they are working very, very hard to make possible. I talked about there's going to be a new patch, potentially even next week, there'll be more optimization patches, so you know, they're looking at as many bugs as they can and they'll try to get it out, which is always very welcome.

More Interesting Facts About,

new escape from tarkov info tarkov tv live podcast recap...

Something that's super exciting is that they talked about wanting to add a new patch every month. Now those patches won't necessarily always come with new content, but they want to release something more regularly that allows for something more like bite. big sized stuff so they like to test it to see if it works instead of saving it for these big things. I think it will be very useful for the game and I bet it will get small content patches more regularly, which will keep the game interesting while we wait for the next removal, so we have a small optimization patch potentially next week and then In the next patch, which would potentially be next month, they want to add a bunch of new content to that comfort system that was teased on Instagram, which will affect how your character handles himself when he's under certain stresses and stuff like that. .

The single-use grenade launcher will potentially be in the next patch, plus it's a single shot, not an inferior cannon. Grenade launcher, it is a real weapon that you would have to take on a raid as a secondary. They haven't talked much about the rounds or anything that will come with it, but potentially a new outfit will appear in the game. The biggest thing they are trying to include in the next content patch is a detailed damage report which will be very useful because in the past you know when you die and it says like head, jaws or stomach, sometimes that can be relatively unreliable, so I've talked about this a little bit in the past as a detailed account of not only where the fatal blow was but also where some of the other shots were subject to change.

We don't know exactly what it looks like, but he did mention it. that they will try to include that in the next content patch which could be next month, also, in the sense of paying therapists to heal you, instead of having to know if you died in a raid or were injured on the way out and then find medicines, right click on cure all. They've talked about adding something where as soon as you get out of a raid you just pay the therapists a certain amount and she heals you, and she even mentioned that that could be related to your level of loyalty to her.
So that way you don't have to have medication like a lot of people have grizzly bears on hand just for that, you can get out of a raid, pay the therapists and come back on your next raid, let's see with them, she spoke. Regarding the possibility of Scavo of the Coast arriving in the next content patch, it's starting to look like this next content badge could be a lot, so maybe not everyone will get in there, but he mentioned that they will try to push the Scavo of the Coast boss coast. We don't know much about him, but that could be super exciting.
The scab bosses are an awesome addition to every map and then a lot of things they wanted you to trade, so I guess they're talking about a visual overhaul of trading. the lighting, new extracts and alarms when you open kibbe, all those things are known if they talked, he said trying to move on to the next content patch, that would be awesome, everyone knows we need more extracts in the exchange, the lighting could definitely be modified and The cable arm could be a really cool mechanic that summons Killah or even just lets players know you've opened kibbe.
I think if they improved the cava loot to make it worth it that would be really cool and then there was a lot of like the general stuff that they talked about so I'm going to fast forward through those and there's a lot of stuff to come in the game and it's super exciting, so he talked about the raid timer, so the raid timers have been shortened. a little bit to help with the servers as they add more servers and when they can figure those things out they will try to reset those speed timers back to normal times which would be very helpful.
You talked a lot about servers and that you I know a lot of people say why don't you just use Amazon Web Services because you know those servers can scale. There are many systems available that would help them avoid the problems they are encountering, but he emphasized the fact that they are incredibly expensive and would take a long time to migrate. I mean, we know that if you've been playing since before point 12, we waited forever for the migration to unity 2018, so the final part of things is it's not as easy as doing this, migrating all your servers to web services or something like that is expensive and time consuming, so they are trying to find the perfect balance of adding more servers and helping players without creating more. downtime, what Nikita is most excited about is the customization of the platform.
She said this will be an innovative gameplay mechanic, so they've talked about it in the past, which is creating your own tactical platforms with as many magazine pouches as you want and putting armor plates on. where you want different types of armor plates that have different durability repair ability. He's very excited about it and said that's coming this year. I don't think he'll be in the next content update which will be next month, but he. We talked about wanting to put that in before the next cleanup, so we could see in the next few months adding new damage zones to your character because you can put plates and different places like he even very briefly mentioned having a different one. damage zone for your front and your back because you can put plates there or you can forego putting plates on your back, things like that, we're definitely not sure if they're going to slowly implement that, like adding new mechanics. or if it's just going to be a big overhaul, he talked about the fact that what they're going to do is basically have some overlap, so eventually he wants that to be the main way we get platforms and

escape

Tarkov, it's like create our own, but the armored vests and armored platforms that are in the game will remain for a while and then as we move towards the full release of the game, they will phase out the old stuff and make more new stuff once again.
I don't know exactly how it's going to work, but he seems very excited about the mechanics he talked about. They're aware of errors around optics and all kinds of things, different degrees of precision and FOV errors and things like that. of that and they're working on the ones they started out as fools, NIEM forward working with Steam audio, but the more they get involved, they say it's a huge task to do, they have nothing to really show. For us right now, it looks like that's going to take some time, but you know, I want them to get it done.
I want them to make it perfect. You know, I don't think anyone wants us to move to Steam audio. It would have been done incorrectly. So the audio is the same or worse than now, so they are working on that and hopefully we will see something soon. Someone asked about the open world and talked a little about unity and how they want to continue moving forward. I play even the newest Unity engines. I don't know what that looks like, but what they want is to continue to be able to squeeze everything they can out of the engine and get the best game possible so he said the open world is still planned, that's something I'm personally very excited about, It may be a bit polarizing in the community, but it was his original vision for the game and it's still planned.
They talked about the merch store. The merch shop will be available soon. made it seem like it's coming very soon, we'll be able to buy all kinds of things, we have no

info

rmation on that, but stay tuned, it would definitely say on their Twitter or something, the cultists, which is a new faction. Many scavengers will arrive soon, they will be hanging around marked circles and marked rooms potentially attached to a boss. He also said that will happen soon. I imagine the way you talked about it would probably come in some of these smaller content patches before the removal, but that could also definitely be something that carries over to the wife, but the cultists are coming soon, like we said, the comfort, they're full steam ahead working the streets to talk, they had a ton of concept images that I'll be linking to their Twitter.
I'll link his Twitter to the beta aft announcer and the bow State Games Twitter below. It's a great place to find

s and all kinds of things, but I'm sure they'll filter those streets. to talk, they want to be the greatest achievement of escape from

tarkov

, the masterpiece map, that's what they are working on, they showed some concept images that will be huge, there will be a lot to loot. I mean, he mentioned that it seems impossible. create your vision in unity, so it will be interesting. I think it will take time. I just don't think we'll always be off the streets to get to Tarkov, but they want to make it perfect.
They are aware of the problem of exhausted red. at the flea market where you can look for something and it's just a bunch of items that are not available, they are out of stock, they are working on it, offline raids with friends won't happen for a long time, he didn't give for a period of time, but he said it won't happen anytime soon, the reason is that it's no longer an offline reign, technically if I want to play with a friend I have to be connected to the internet and that's another thing. You can't just create a local game just on your machine that isn't connected to the internet, it has to be hosted on a server somewhere because your friend will join you and wants to do it.
He understands how important it is to us. want that feature, but are working on creating the game right now, said a complete overhaul of the skill system, didn't explain what they look like, skills are probably one of the most polarizing topics that can escape from Tarkov, as well I'm not going to delve into that and in my opinion, he would want to review it. This is a beta version and they have learned a lot from player feedback about the current skill system. He talked about two new hiding and hiding skills, management and creation. I imagine stash management will help you create those things, like building your stash and making things, especially future ones, faster and then crafting can affect how quickly you can create items that haven't gone into that.
This is just me speculating that Nikita spoke. a little bit about VoIP in the fact that he's not a big fan of VoIP, he understands that the community is pretty split down the middle and that a lot of people really want VoIP and love what it can bring to the game, from the memes to the final. He likes serious gaming, but he's also very aware of what that does to other games. He says that he watches and plays a lot of other games with VoIP to watch and he doesn't like it when people just blast music while running around a map or something.
I'd say he's leaning toward no, he talked about a radio system where you can get a radio and then you can show something and then it's the other players' decision to tune into that radio station. He mentioned something like we're just I'll have to that remains to be seen. I know before point 12 it was basically a confirmed feature for point 12. I don't think Nikita thinks he adds value to the game, so we'll definitely see the update there being easy. like a big maybe they talked about Claymores about how they will be added to the game but they are activated remotely, they are not Call of Duty Claymores with a laser sticking out and if someone runs in front of them you are just dead. fired at a distance, meaning you can't just set one up and run away, you know, they didn't talk much about that, but I was basically saying that they're not Claymores from Call of Duty, they did talk about howthey wanted to add Raiders to all the other maps in special events where something will happen and a group of Raiders comes to perform a certain task.
I'm a big fan of that. He didn't really give a time frame, but someone was asking about the Raiders and mentioned that I'm a big fan of that. I think the Raiders are a great addition to the game. I think it's a great addition to pre-order right now, you get to the airtight door and you can spawn them. It's great to have them. They can't be farmed, but they give you a chance to get high-level loot without just playing. I think just adding that will have a lot of value in getting players to all maps and not just labs, the reserve and things like that. that was kind of like he talked about a new podcast that potentially will be next week, maybe not, but he said that he potentially wants it to be a showcase of features and he wants it to be with some of the Tarkov community streamers, at the end .
Most importantly, he emphasized that, guys, this is still a beta and I think it's easy to forget because this game feels so amazing and very developed at times and then not very developed in other areas, but that was his reminder. They are here to test the game, they are listening to the feedback. I think for me it's my personal conclusion and what I think he wants to convey is that they are really working very hard on this game and I don't know what development of the game. It seems like I'm sure they could do things better and they could do a lot worse, but they're working really hard, they're passionate about the game and they're really excited about it, and I'm really excited about it.
I'm excited about it, so that's all they talked about, just very quick bullet points. If you have any questions about anything, leave them below. I can try to answer them, but I hope this lets you know what's going on. Thank you very much for taking the time to watch this video. I do a lot of beginner's guides and things like that strategy the guys first gave since Tarkoff. I'm always trying to create content that helps shorten the learning curve for escaping Tarkov and getting you and your raids having fun as soon as possible. I'm streaming Escape from Tarkov once again.
Check out the links below, but thanks again for stopping by and we'll definitely see you all in the next one.
