hey friends welcome or welcome back to my channel i am adrienne your full-time diy mommy and today we have four new

diys

so let's get right into the video so for this first diy i am going to be using these home oil love signs from the

dollar

tree

and we're going to be making a home sign so i don't even fool with trying to get the

paper

off of most of these i just use the back side and so what i'm going to end up doing is just using some of my um the really jumbo craft sticks to go ahead and add some stability to the back of this now guys i do apologize i don't feel like i had my camera zoomed out enough so it was cutting off um in several parts of the video so i do apologize for that in advance all right so once we get that down that's basically all i do to stabilize this i'm gonna be using some of this rust-oleum chalk paint in linen white now i am not going to give this a huge coat of paint i still want this to kind of have that distressed look so rather than painting it and then distressing it i just kind of go for it and um yeah so i am going to be using these letters that i picked up from walmart and what i ended up doing was using some of my waverly wax and antique color and i kind of just brushed over this with my distressing brush i didn't give this a huge coat and i didn't go back and wipe this off because in the end i kind of wanted to give it that bronzy kind of faded brown look and i thought that this turned out perfect so now i...

am going to just use some hot glue to glue these letters on now with these letters i did kind of want these just kind of all over the board but not really in any uniformed um pattern hopefully that makes sense it'll be easier for you to just see what i'm doing because i know that my explaining is probably horrific so anyway go ahead and get those letters glued down and you can also use stickers if you like or any other type of letters this is just what i had on hand so now once i get those letters glued down i'm going to take just a piece of this um burlap ribbon that i have that's kind of frayed around the edges i glue that down and then what i'm going to do is go ahead and use my black and white gingham ribbon that i picked up from

dollar

tree

and i'm gonna lay that down on top of that burlap ribbon now once i get that down i am going to go ahead and just use some of these floral picks that i have i actually cut these down and then i'm going to take just some of that burlap ribbon and the gingham ribbon and just kind of create a crisscross bow i'm not going to do anything uniform here and just let you know in this video all of my bows are just going to kind of be put together messy no wrong reason um but definitely this is just for inspiration you you know make your bows however you'd like so once we get all of this together i'm just going to put these all together and then i'm going to use some of that jute twine to tie it...

together and once we have that then i'm going to move on to just gluing this down on top of my ribbon and i felt that that looked so incredibly cute but i wanted to add something a little bit different so just a tip here and i'm sure that this is not a new tip but this is just something that i rarely use but i've been using it a lot specifically in this video i am just going to take a piece of that gingham ribbon and i'm going to fold it in to kind of make a circle glue it down and then i'm just going to glue it on top of this oil pick and i thought that it turned out so cute it kind of gives it that um feel of like a real tied bow but we did not tie it and so that is going to be it for this diy i thought that the diy turned out super cute i did go back and just um distress the letters a little bit with a little bit of white but i thought that this was so amazing and so cute and just really

farmhouse

y and i absolutely love it so once we get that all shaped the way we want then yes all we're going to do is just glue it right down to the top of this bow and y'all this is so stinking cute like how amazing is that now i did have to kind of play with it to kind of make sure that the angle was just right um but that's probably just because i was sitting at an angle and as i'm looking at this it's like oh well i probably could have used just a bigger ribbon or something but anyway it turned out perfect and i love it so i hope that you guys...

enjoyed this diy and as always as we go through this video you will have to tell me in the comments which diy is your favorite i absolutely love all of these in this video so i don't think i could just choose one but there you have it how cute is this y'all and that the pops of a lavender are just perfect for um this brown on white and i love it all right guys so again my name is adrienne i am your full-time diy mommy and here on my channel you can find lots of fun and budget friendly

diys

i love to craft with just a plethora of things and i just would love for you to stick around so if you like what you see please go ahead and give this video a thumbs up go ahead and hit subscribe and then if you love it make sure that you hit that notification bell to be notified every time i upload so today's video is a collaboration with my friend lynette over at diy beauty on purpose i absolutely love her channel she does so many amazing things and what i love about her channel the most is that she uses a lot of power tools and wood and i am learning so much from her the colors are so bright and everything she uses so go ahead and click that link in my description box to head over to her channel and watch her video and subscribe as well alright guys so as you know i now have a shop with my stickers in it you guys loved these stickers and i just want to tell you guys thank you so much for your orders that i've already received i am working to get those out just as quickly...
as possible today stickers that are used in this video will actually be they're actually in the shop now so go ahead and click that link in my description box and head over and shop i'm sure that you'll find something that you love all right guys so diy number two we are going to be using this frame from the

dollar

tree

i'm going to be using this buffalo plaid that i picked up from michael's in my little um scrapbook

paper

bundle and then i'm going to be using some of these stickers that i created for my shop alright so what i'm gonna do first is i want the texture of this frame and that is why i buy so many of these whenever i find them because i feel like that texture just makes any project that you use these for pop so i went ahead and gave that a really good coat of my waverly chalk paint in white then what i ended up doing was taking that glass and tracing around this

paper

now i am using some aliens um tacky glue y'all know that i will use it to the very last drop now i've had this question all the time when i am using like a glass frame or you know glass or piece of glass on top of

paper

you can still see the glue when you do that guys once it dries completely you cannot see it i promise you i have made so many things with these and one of the reasons that you're going to still see that streaking here is because i'm trying to make this for the video so allow it some time to dry and it'll be okay so now once i got done...
with that i kind of felt like that white was a little too much so i just kind of went back over it with some black chalkboard paint that i picked up from

dollar

general i love that chalkboard paint y'all it is i love it i really really love it like i grab it before i grab any other black um chalk paint so definitely if you can find that pick some up because it's amazing so once we get this in i'm gonna go back and just kind of make sure that the the frame is cohesive the way that i want it and then what i'm gonna do is take my little vine floral vine stickers here and i'm gonna go ahead and just put these down on the frame now i will tell you guys that i got so ahead of myself and so excited and you'll see in a minute that i went ahead and put the bow down before i put my um mod podge down on top of my stickers and on top of my little calendar piece definitely if you're doing this go ahead and mod podge it before you put your bow down it wasn't a big deal it was just i had to go around the bow to make sure that all of the sticker was completely coated all right so once we get those down what i ended up doing was just taking this polka dot ribbon from the

dollar

tree

and i basically just took some strips of it and i glued the end of those together and then i'm just going to take these and just kind of situate them you know like i said all of the bows in this video are just going to kind of be messy bows they're not uniform but definitely...
use whatever bow method you'd like so then i'm going to use some raffia that i picked up from i believe

dollar

tree

right now they actually have them in several colors and so if you are interested in like reds and greens and fall colors definitely go over to

dollar

tree

and pick them up if you can find them all right so i'm just going to fold that raffia down and just kind of make it look messy as well now at first i was going to use a piece of raffia to um tie around this but i kind of felt like it wasn't tying tight enough and i thought okay this is just not working the way i want so i just went back to my my handy dandy jute twine y'all i use this stuff so much i know i go back and i look at my videos and i'm like man i use this a lot but you know what if it ain't broke don't fix it i love it so anyway go ahead and put that down and tie that really well and then once i get that tied really well i'm just going to snip those ends off and then i am going to go ahead and glue it down to my little um to my frame here now i will say that you do kind of want to make sure that you glue that raffia down it'll make it a little bit easier to handle this um or at least in my opinion now you don't have to do that but again i try to tell you the tips that work for me so i recommend gluing it down all right so once you get that all squared away you're going to just um make sure that at the bottom you're covering those stems now you...
don't really have to worry about covering those stems because i don't feel like they look out of place or anything but i just wanted to cover them then what i'm going to do is take just a wooden boat and i picked up these wooden bows from michael's and i think they were like a

dollar

or two a bag and i mean you can use these forever and every all the cool thing about these buttons is that you can actually paint these buttons to be whatever color you want so anyway i'm just going to glue that down to the front of this bow and then what i ended up doing at first i was going to leave the frame this way and then i was like man this looks plain and you all know i'm just not about playing right so i took some of my um the calendars i think this was the simply blessed calendar calendar by jennifer pugh that i picked up at

dollar

tree

a while ago and i'm gonna use the back of these you guys know that i have always used the back of these because i think that they are i mean they make perfect projects so i really didn't know if i wanted to use the be kind one or if i wanted to use the um live simple life i ended up using the live the simple life and i thought it turned out perfect so basically what i did was i took a baby wipe and i just wanted to rough up the edges and kind of make it look like it was a little frayed and i went back with my finger sander and just kind of kept you know going over it until i got the look that i wanted and then i ended up...
gluing this right in the top corner and i thought that this was the perfect fix for this diy i mean you can leave this off like i said you can use whatever colors you'd like but i absolutely love the way that this turned out and i glued it down that i went back with my mod podge and it turned out perfect y'all i absolutely love it now i do recommend with the stickers that i have even though these stickers um most of my stickers come with the adhesive on the back you can get them with the adhesive on the back on some of them and some of them you can just get the the plain

paper

i do recommend it using some type of sealer and for me mod podge works perfect so the aliens tacky glue with the ones that don't have the sticker on the back and mod podge and then the ones with the sticker i just put the matte mod podge now you can also use the satin or the gloss whatever look you're going for and again guys this mod podge is going to dry clear so don't worry about seeing it all white here i promise you that it is going to turn out perfect and that is totally it for this diy like i absolutely love the look of this this is a great transitional piece i find myself using buffalo plaid a lot for the christmas season so i will definitely have this out for christmas as well but i thought that this was so amazingly cute all right so moving right along to diy number three so this diy it's kind of a different one guys because i don't feel like i made the beaded...
frame i picked this up from michael's so really the focus here for me was the floral piece i know i know anyway so what i ended up doing was i used a lot of these florals from

dollar

tree

actually i believe well no most of my florals are from

dollar

tree

except for the lamb's ear so what i ended up doing was cutting the stems down on all of these floral picks now you do want to make sure that you leave enough stem for them to kind of intertwine in the middle and we're going to use some of this jute twine to go ahead and wrap it around now don't be like your girl over here getting the twine all mixed up with the floral y'all don't do that make sure you go out wide enough hopefully you can see what i'm doing but i didn't want to put so much twine on here because as we begin to put the bow on and all of the other components to this i didn't want this to be so incredibly thick to where it's hanging over this will be on my door um but what i ended up doing after this diy was i put just kind of a wooden piece on the back of the um the floral pieces just to kind of give it a little bit more stability so anyway now i'm going to go ahead and put that lamb's ear in and i did speed this up a bit because you guys can see that it's really just a kind of you know wrapping the floral wrapping the the g twine so this one's really really simple now you do not have to buy this beaded um wreath from michaels i actually only paid like three...
or four bucks for this it was on sale you can definitely make one of your own if you have you know the the metal the wire or whatever you want to do but i've had this in my stash for a while and i was like i really really need to use this now i didn't hot glue everything down um and i've actually used minimal glue because this is a wreath that i will actually use for different seasons so definitely be sure that when you're you know adhering this to the wreath that you use a different measure if you want to reuse it so now what i'm doing is i have this um this burlap kind of feel ribbon that i picked up i believe from hobby lobby it has wire in it and again this is going to be kind of another messy bow all i did was just take the ends of this bow and just make it as big as i wanted it to be and then i glued the ends and then what i'm gonna do and i know that this is out of the shot guys and i'm so sorry um that i have this zoomed in a lot more than i normally do anyway but i am going to just take that and make a tail from it now go ahead and measure it the way you want and then what i'm going to do is use some of this um i guess this is kind of a twill um ribbon that i picked up from michaels and this was 90 off after christmas and i absolutely love this one i'm gonna do the same thing just making this bowl smaller than the other because i want to layer it and i just love y'all if you have watched i know you guys have seen in any of my...
videos i love to put black into my

decor

pieces and i love to make that black kind of a

neutral

color to me black is really

neutral

but i do feel like when you put in just pops of colors like these purples and this this you know jute twine and all of that it really just gives that black a totally different look so definitely use whatever colors speak to you and in your

decor

this is just inspiration for what you can make so now we are going to go ahead and situate our bow because y'all know i like to say situate i just i don't know why i keep saying situate but that's basically what we're doing and i'm going to go ahead and dovetail these now make sure that if you are like me you slow down a bit when you're doing your dovetails because it is inevitable i always dovetail it or do it the wrong way and i end up having to go back and cut it a little bit shorter but you know your girl y'all know you girl anyway i'm gonna use that same method with this bow or this middle of the bow and i'm just gonna fold it into itself y'all and just glue it down on top this is a perfect way to just kind of get that look that you want um and then if you ever want to you can just pull this up it's not part of the bow it won't mess the bow up so you know win-win i think in in my opinion i don't know anyway go ahead and glue that down make sure that you have a finger protector on because this ribbon has holes in it you don't want to burn...
yourself but that is it for this diy i left the the beads that natural color i may eventually um paint the beads but for now i absolutely love the way that this looks all right so on to diy number four this is our final diy i am using one of these little trays that i picked up from

dollar

tree

now i didn't realize i don't know if my

dollar

tree

got these a lot sooner than others um but i've actually had this in my stash for a couple of months y'all and i bought several of them um and so you'll see a lot more of these now i am going to go ahead and take this um goodness gracious y'all my mind just went blank this little screwdriver pack that i picked up from

dollar

tree

now i am going to be using some of my stickers here and some of this waverly chalk paint in white color now i am going to just lightly distress this i did go a little bit heavier once i kind of saw okay i like the white on this but you can definitely use whatever color you like now i had anticipated using these little doll pins i think is what they're called i picked those up for michael's on clearance for like a

dollar

um for a lot of them but when i went to stand this up once i glued them on and i stood this up it wasn't sturdy so you'll see at the end that i actually ended up using some of my half beads and i used four of them so i am going to be using these super cute wood grain stickers that i have created um the word home with guys these stickers are amazing i will...
actually be using more of the wood grain and natural colors for my stickers in the future so hang tight your girls got you all right then i'm going to be using these floral vines again but i use this super cute sage and white color and i thought that these are so cute so what i'm going to be doing is basically just kind of putting these on just all over the place i am there's no rhymers in here i love when flowers are layered and that is one of the reasons why i actually wanted to start creating my own stickers because i really couldn't find exactly what i was looking for and i thought that these just turned out perfect and when you guys started liking them i was like oh man let me let me offer them to my tribe so go ahead and stick those down just however you want to and then make sure that those letters are down now with the home letters i typically i'm going to be real honest here y'all this is transparent i don't know why but a lot of times when i am trying to put things down really straight they just don't look right to me so i actually like for my stickers or my words to kind of be you know a little off you know not completely straight but if you want these straight definitely put a ruler down or whatever you need to um to keep it completely straight i just kind of like the you know the messy look of this and it turned out perfect so once we get that down i am going to go ahead with my mod podge and i am going to mod podge or no no...
i'm not i'm not doing the mod podge first y'all i'm gonna tell y'all what your girl did i glued down the ribbon before mod podging again and then i ended up taking it off in my podgy y'all y'all know you know how i do it and i could have just flipped this around but you know no i'm gonna let you guys see because again everything doesn't always go perfectly when you are creating footage for your videos so anyway ended up putting this jute twine bow down you guys know i love to put just a cute you twine bow down it just it makes it look so cute now when i am putting down my mod podge i actually had someone ask me how much mod podge do you put down i'm gonna be honest i put down a good layer of this um i start out i try to start out a little lighter um and then if i feel like i need to go back with a little bit more than i will but you know totally just up to you so again i went in with these little doll pins thinking that this is going to work out perfect and it did not it didn't stand up the way that i wanted it to but i wanted you guys to see this because i was like girl what were you thinking here and i honestly thought this was gonna work out but it just didn't so now i'm gonna go in with those half beads and distress them a little bit with my white um paint again i leave the paint on my brushes because i find that it really gives a great distressed look um and this worked out perfect so go ahead and glue those down to the...
bottom once you have those glued down to the bottom the next thing i'm going to do is i'm going to take some of my waverly wax and antique color and i'm going to hit those edges and then just kind of really dry distress all over this piece but once you get that done i just i think this is the cutest little i guess you would call it a shadow box y'all i don't know i just thought that this was a really cute way to use these trays i will actually be using these a lot more now i did end up putting some of this moss in the bottom but that is it guys i hope you have enjoyed this video if you did go ahead and give it a give it a thumbs up go ahead and hit subscribe and hit that notification bell to be notified every time i upload until next time friends bye
