May 04, 2020
Hi everyone, I'm Courtney from Fiber Fox Studios and today we're going to start our

crochet

, which is going to be teaching you how to do the different tile

crochet

pattern

s, some of which I'm showing here, but tile crochet is very kind. from an organic crochet you can create your own

pattern

s, you can decide to use these patterns any way you want as long as you don't have to start with the same pattern that I'm starting with some videos and you could change it and start with that pattern and mix it all up depending of the projects you're going to do so you can use it to make things like baby blankets or oversized blankets, pillows, purses, project bags, I mean however many things you can.

Using this is endless, so it's really up to you what size project you're going to do in this case, but we're going to chain together multiples of 10 to start, so whatever design you decide to do, as far as possible. the actual finished project you'll just chain it in multiples of 10 and then we'll start making the various patterns and we'll start making one pattern a

week

and/or modeling a video, I should say. here's a sample that I was working on last night here's another one from the other day and here's one of the blankets that I made that shows quite a few different patterns that you can make and I was basically improvising as I was doing different things along the way and I'm going to teach you guys how to do it too, so just to give you an idea of what a patchwork crochet, very textured, kind of geometric, really pretty, will look like if you've ever made a patch. tears that for me is a

mosaic

crochet.

I've done tears, that's a

part

icular stitch that's used a lot in

mosaic

crochet. here's a sample here I had some Apache tears. I just made it in a longer format, so let's go ahead and start, you're going to need. Today I'm using size three yarn, but I also have some size three that I'm going to work into the project. I recommend using size three or four thread for this. and you are going to use a five point five millimeter hook. You can use a five millimeter if you want a much tighter project, but I'm going to use the five point five millimeter and this is perfect for scrapping this whole blanket that you are.

What I see here was made from scraps, so I just had yarn on hand that didn't have enough for a large project, mix them all together so you can choose your colors, you don't have to make these patterns in a solid color. you can mix it, you can do it, you can mix it from row to row and do a color transition and you can do it in completely contrasting colors, it doesn't have to be neutral. I will be working. With a white thread today I basically made my patterns, so for me I will use the same color in the future, but you don't have to, it's completely up to you and you can be completely creative with it. so let's go ahead and pause here and start right, so let's go ahead and start here.

I'm going to use this as an example piece. You can start with the color you are going to use. to highlight your shapes here or you can start with the color that will be the center. It is completely up to you which way to go with this. I'm going to start with the accent color, basically it's what we'll call color. B and then color a will be white for me and that's what will form my shapes. What I'm doing in my dropdown, so we'll go ahead and start like I said, we're going to chain in multiples. of ten plus five at the end or six at the end, sorry, so chain multiples of ten plus six at the end, so let's go ahead and start, you just need to tie a slip knot to get it out of the way. so I go ahead and do my slipknots like this.
I take my working thread over here, this is the tail over here and I move it into position and then I pull back and pinch and pull back to create my slip knot, so I'm going to go ahead and start chaining, so To make the chain, you just have the slipknot on the hook and then you grab the thread and pull and that forms your first chain. Here's my second third fourth fifth six seven eight nine ten eleven twelve thirteen fourteen fifteen sixteen seventeen eighteen nineteen and twenty and I'm going to chain my six at the end, you're going to go ahead and pause and work until you have the desired size of project that you want do and then make sure you chain the extra six at the end to work in multiples of ten and you're going to chain extra six at the end and then you'll meet me and we'll get started. doing row two so you'll meet me again you have your base chain ready and we're going to go ahead and we're going to work in single crochets and then just loop back so I'm going to go ahead and I'm not going to go into this first chain, so I'm going to skip this first chain and go here to the second one and I'm just going to work on the back loop, that top loop back there, that's all I do. working so I'm not going to go in both and I'm going to stand up and do a single crochet and that's what I'm going to do throughout this row so I'm going to go ahead and go in just the next loop back or if you look and you see your project, you're just working in a cycle and that's how it's going to be throughout all of this, so you're going to go ahead and work exactly the same way until the end. single crochet in the back loop only to the end of this row and then you will meet me at the end.
You'll single crochet that last stitch, so we'll meet up. there to finish your row, so we'll meet here at the end of the row and I have two stitches left to work on, so I'll go ahead and work on the next one just like I did. state and then we're going to go into the last stitch of the row and we want to go under the V, we want to make sure that we go into both loops like you would traditionally because that's going to make putting on your edge a lot easier so let's go Go ahead and make a single crochet like we normally would by working right under the two loops under the V, that's how you finish each and every row, so for me I ended up with 35 stitches.
We had chained in multiples of 10 plus 6 at the end and then we skipped one and worked on that second, so we got to an odd number of points and that's one of the things you want for me every time I've worked. In a project it seems to work best when I have an odd number of points, so I have 35 points. You'll have the number of points you had plus 5 basically at the end, so go ahead and finish this. The first thing that's not fun about this type of crochet, patchwork crochet, is that we have to go ahead and trim our yarn here, we'll have a lot of tails and you'll have a lot of knitting at the end, that's the only drawback, so here I am at the end and I like to chain two together and then I'm going to cut my thread and if you want to leave a decent tail, it doesn't have to be extremely long, but you do want to leave one. decent tail so you have something to work with to weave it and then I lift and I'm going to pin and that's how I end up that way.
I never have anything to untangle, so now what we're going to do. Are we going to add back exactly the same color on my

part

because I need three rows and then I'm going to start three rows of this color B, you know, I need three rows and then I'm going to start doing the white here, so we're going to go ahead and go under the V and make sure to go under the V because we're going to start doing a single crochet at the beginning of the row and just like we end with a single crochet. crochet at the end that is worked under the B under the two little loops, that way we have an easy way to put an edge on, so I'm going to go ahead and take my yarn and add it back.
It will be the same for you and unfortunately we will have one thread trimmed in each row, so I recommend that as you work on this and finish each section of each pattern, you go ahead and sew the ends that way, you won't have a billion ends . at the end and I have to untangle a little bit of thread and that's what I'm doing here so let me pause real quick and I'll come back and add this so I'm back and I've got the slipknot already on my hook and let's go to go ahead and we have our hook under the two loops under that V and now I have my slip knot and I put it on the hook and I'm just going to go ahead, bring that up and then I'm going to grab the tail and the working thread and chain one and then I'm going to go back under both loops and I'm going to go ahead and let the tail fall on top of my work and now I'm going to pick up one loop and make a single crochet, just like that, now I'm going to come back here working on just the subsequent loops , so I'm working on that back loop I have the tail, you can go ahead and work over your tail, you locked it in place, you can work over your tail and I like to leave a little bit hanging back so I can tie a knot that's only I personally can do it however you want, but you're going to do the same thing you did in the last row.
You've been going into just those back loops and single crocheting all the way down, so you're going to do the same thing and then we're going to start with our next color on the next row, so you're going to go ahead and work your way down exactly the same as you've been working alone. in the back loop and we'll meet again. at the end and make that single crochet at the end one more time together, so we're going to go ahead and pause here, work down by making a single crochet just in the back loop all the way down, just making sure you can see where.
I'm going to just go into that back loop, so look at your Vs and select the one in the back and go ahead and work the same way, so let's go ahead and pause here and meet me at the end of your row and we're here at the end of our row, so we're going to go ahead and work underneath that, coming into both loops and we're going to do our last single crochet and then for me, I'm going to chain two and I'm going to go ahead and trim my thread. Now we're going to go over and transition our color to for me because I consider that the part that I'm going to use I'm going to do. the same color everywhere so my shapes stand out so for me this is my color and it's the one I'm going to use the most so I'm going to go ahead and tie a slip knot let's come.
Come back here to the front of our rope and I'm going to go under both loops there at the beginning and I'm going to go ahead and pick up one loop, now I'm going to grab both the tail and the working thread chain. one now I'm going to go back down to the same point, exactly the same and I'm going to pick up a loop, so now I'm going to take my yarn and pull all three through, it looks like there's three there. I'm going to go through all of those, so now that's my first first stitch of this row, so now I'm going to work on the next two back loops alone, so one here is number two, so the next two loops back loops and now on the fourth one, I'm going to make a drop down menu, so here's the next stitch and if you look directly below, we have this front loop left over from us working on the back loops, so I'm going to wrap my yarn around my hook and I'm going to go basically, I'm doing a pull down double crochet, so I'm going to go right down here to this front loop and I'm going to turn my hook like this so I can grab it and I'm going to take my working yarn here, grab and lift A loop.
Now I'm going to grab again and pass two, grab again and pass two, so I just made my first dropdown as I call them, so The high point is on top of the work and we take a look. You can see that it adds a dimension now here to make sure that you're not working on the point that this high point occupies. You can always take a look. Back here, you'll make sure not to work on that point that's being occupied by our high point. Hopefully, I can improve this. You can see what I mean, so you'll skip that point. there because our high point rests right on top of that, so if you're ever not sure if you're going to the wrong point, just slide your work back, you can make sure you're skipping one and we're Let's go to the next one and let's work, in this case we're going to work eight more single crochets and just the back loop, so that leaves number two, number three, four, five, remember six, seven, eight now.
I'm going to make another dropdown, so I come here. I'm going to wrap my yarn around my crochet hook. I'm going to go straight down. Here is the stitch I would be working on. I'll just swipe right. down here to this front loop on the front one row down and I'm going to slide my hook down, grab my yarn and pull up one loop, grab my yarn and pull through two, grab my yarn and pull through two and you can see yourself. I have that point back there that covers this high point. Now I'm going to insert it into the next stitch and I'm going to go right there and we're going to do my eight single crochets and the back loop just so you.
We're going to do eight single crochets just in the back loop and then one pull down double crochet across the entire row until you get to the end, so you're going to go ahead and work exactly the same way and I'm going to work with you, so I've got four, here's number five. . Number six, seven, eight and now I'm going to be. going down this is my ninth point here, so I'm going to go down, you want to make sure you don't stretch your work, you wantmake sure you don't come here and grab this loop, you want to go straight down to slide the hook down, turn so you can grab just the front loop and then you'll grab and pull up one loop, grab and pull two, grab and pull two and take a look back there.
We're going to skip that stitch to go to the next one, it's right next to it, we're going to do eight more single crochets with the back loop, there are two, three, number four, number five or six, number seven, number eight, and now we're. here, in this ninth stitch, we're going to wrap our yarn around our hook and we're going to go down here, slide down into that front loop and then we're going to grab our yarn, pick up our loop, grab our yarn and pull it through. fingers. take our yarn and loop two, now we just fold it forward, we're going to skip that stitch right there, we're just going to get that one and move on to this next one and we're going to continue doing our back loop with just single crochets for I'm at the end of my row, so I'm doing three single crochets in just the back loop and then I'll finish with my single crochet that goes under both loops.
We are going to work directly under the v to make the last stitch of the row, so you will continue in the same way making eight single crochets only with the back loop. In the ninth stitch, you will drop by making this single crochet with the front loop that goes to the previous row. so we're going to skip a whole row, come here to this, that's why we needed to work this way and have so much work, so you're going to go ahead and work the exact same way all the way down and then meet me when you're ready to Go ahead and move to the next row.
I'm just going to chain two together and cut my thread from there down and now I'm going to continue. I go ahead and take my thread again and I'm going to add another row. I'm going to make sure to go under both loops here at the front of the row, if you tighten it too much, it's like It's hard to get in there, but you can do it and I'm going to go ahead and grab and pull up one loop. I can't grab both the little work queue, the queue and the work thread on chain one, go back down in exactly that same place.
Sew right there on the first one and I'll go ahead and pick up my loop to make my single crochet and I'll go through all the loops that I have on my hook and then I'll start working on the back loop. just again, so we're going to work exactly the same way throughout this row. We're not actually going to do any drop-downs on this particular row, we're just going to work a full row of single crochets and the subsequent loop. just on this one, so you're just going to work the back loop just all the way, no drop down, so no double crochets, drop the nails on this row, so this is a very, very easy row, so we're just going to work exactly that way on down making a single crochet in the back loop so you can go ahead and pause here meet me when you've completed your row we'll move on to the next row remember at the end you're going Make sure to single crochet under both loops under the V in the last stitch.
That's the only thing you need to remember for this row down to the end. I'm doing a single crochet in the back loop only. We're gathering again ready to move on to the next row, so I'm going to go ahead and take my color a, which is the main color, the color that I'm using to form my shapes and I'm going to go ahead and add it so you can see them go underneath of both loops, so we need this first stitch to be a single crochet. I'm going to chain one each time and each time go back down to the exact same point and pick up a loop and finish my single crochet, now we're going to work on the back loop in the next point and then in the next point we'll do a drop down again, so now is where we'll connect the rows. so we have two stitches and then the third one right here, we're going to wrap our yarn and we're going to slide down and do drop down double crochets, so we're going to slide down and you'll see.
Right there is the front loop and you can grab it and do it with you one more time. Make sure you know exactly where you are going. Here is the next point. Go straight down and there's a loop that we're going to grab and. lift that up now we're going to take our yarn pulling a loop you don't want to tighten on these you want to keep them a little bit loose so keep in mind you want to make sure your yarn is wrapped around your hook you want to go down here you want a slip down on the stitch you're going to work on grab that loop grab your thread and pull up one loop grab your thread and pull to grab your thread and go through two and I'll tighten it you want it to be nice and loose where it's going to grab here down and it's going to grab that stitch and lay it nice and flat on top, so now I'm the next stitch, which is directly above our last drop. down we're just going to do a single crochet with the back loop and now in the next stitch we're going to go ahead and wrap our yarn over we're going to go down again so we're going to go straight down and you can see it's right at the side of your last drop down, you want to grab that loop, pick up one loop, grab and pull to grab and pull, so you're doing your double crochet in your front loop and that's what's going to do your job.
This is how we are now going to continue down making our back loop, just make sure not to wrinkle your work. You don't want to accidentally work on the stage. The double crochet you just made covers that point. We're going to go here in the back loop of the next stitch and we're going to continue working just like we've been doing our single crochets in the back loop just until we get here to the next drop down, so I've got three four five six stitches, so you're going to do six of your back loop just with a single crochet, so for me there's number four, there's number five and here's number six.
Now we're here, we want to make our dropdown menu, the seventh one. here's the seventh stitch, we're going to go down here to the row before this white section for me and we're going to take that loop that we wrap around to make a double crochet, so we're going to draw a loop. through two and go through two, so you're going to do your double crochet in the seventh stitch of this row before and then we're going to have a single crochet in the back loop and then we're going to do it again, we're going to make our double crochet, so I'm wrapped up for my double crochet.
Here is the next point. I'm going down to this little loop below and that's the loop I'm going to grab and I'm going to grab my yarn and pick up one loop keeping it loose, grab my yarn and pull through two, grab my yarn and pull through two now, as you can see, this This is what we are going to do until the end. I'm going to Check and make sure you go to the next stitch, so I'm going to do 6 single crochets, a back loop, just two, three for five and six, and then my seventh stitch will be a double crochet. down, so we're going to go right under it, slipping under that loop, pulling up one loop, don't tighten it, pull two, grab and go through two, now we're going to move on to the next stitch with a single crochet in the back loop. and now we're going to go down again, so we're going to wrap our yarn and we're going to be ready to do our double crochet, so we're going to slide down, find that loop, pull it up and then we're going to pick up a loop and pull it through. two grab and pull through check and make sure you're going to skip this stitch, move on to the next one right there and you're going to come back into the loop just six single crochets just like you've been doing, that's how you're going to work this whole row.
You can do this row completely and exactly the same way until the end and then you will join me again when you are done. your row and you'll be ready to move on to the next round, so for me, I'll just finish my row with you. I have made six back loops, single crochets only. I'm going to wrap my yarn, get ready to I'm going to make my double crochet and I'm going to go right here, unfold, grab that loop and grab and make two, grab and make two. I'm going to do my single crochet in the back loop just in the next stitch and then I'm going to wrap my yarn and do my double crochet again and drop down grabbing that loop and grabbing my yarn and pulling up one loop grabbing my yarn and pulling up a loop or pull two grab and pull two that's going to finish it don Don't overtighten those stitches that's the main thing to remember is don't overtighten those stitches so now I'm going to go ahead and finish my row working more single crochets in just the back loop and then in the last one, I'm going to do a traditional double crochet under those two loops.
I'm going to chain two together and cut my thread and you guys can finish your project and get back together. with me on the next row so we can continue making more double crochet tails, so this is what your work is starting to look like and we're going to go ahead and start the next row and prepare my slip knot. I'm going to go ahead and insert under the V in the first stitch of the row and I'm going to grab my little slip knot and tighten it and I'm going to go ahead and pick up that loop and then I'm going to grab both the working thread and the tail and chain one.
I'm going to let my tail go forward and fall and I'm going to come back down to the exact same point and I'm going to grab my thread and pull. Pick up one loop, take my yarn and pull through all the loops on my hook making a single crochet. Now I'm going to make two single crochets with only back loops, so I'm going to go to the next stitch, pull the loop and pull to continue. in the next stitch and do the same with a single crochet in the back loop and now we're here in the center of our drop down double crochets from the previous row, so we're going to go ahead and make another double crochet. down right here between these two so we're going to grab our yarn, we're going to wrap it around our hook and we're going to go here's our stitch that we're going to slide down there is the loop that we want to pick up, so we're going to grab and pick that one up. loop.
We're going to grab our yarn and pull up a loop keeping it nice and loose. You don't want it to be too tight. Oops, uh, split my thread. Let me grab it again and pull up a loop. You don't want to squeeze it, you don't have much tension here, crying and pulling two, grab and pull two. Now, if you take a look, you're already starting to form your shape, so on to the next point we go. We're going to do our back loop with just a single crochet and we'll continue down and do the same thing all the way to the end to get to the center stitch between the previous row with a double crochet. down, so we're going to do one, two, three, four, five, six, seven eight single crochets just in the back loop, so there's my third eight more of those that we should say, so you'll work like this all the way down. until I get to the center point here between our two double crochet drop downs, so I got to that point, so this is what we look like and we're right here, our next point is here in the center of our two drop downs. double crochet so we're going to go straight to the green for me or the mint and I'm going to pick up that loop right underneath and I'm going to grab and pull out two grabs and come out to do my double crochet so that's going to be how it worked on the whole row , you're going to work your way down doing just single crochets with the back loop until you get right in the middle, that's you in the double crochet drop down from the previous row and that's where we're going to go down, so it's pretty easy to do watching TV and all that kind of stuff, you just have to be careful about the center point of this row, so you'll work exactly the same way. along the entire row doing the back loop with just single crochets and then when you get to that center point that's where you're going to do the drop down double crochet so I did it again to another center point so I'm going to go ahead and my thread, I'm going to go down, there's my point, so I'm going to go right below it to the previous row, grab that loop up, I'm going to grab and pull up a loop, grab and pull to grab and pull out to make sure I'm not keeping the tension tight we want to have a looser tension so the stitch doesn't lift up we don't want it to lift up so we want it to stay where it's coming down naturally covering that white so you're going to go ahead and pause here and work exactly the same way throughout the row and we will meet again when we return to our color. for me it's going to be the color white we're going to use it on the next row and we're going to work on some more pull down double crochets while we're forming the pattern we're making so we're working on this one right here forming this so you're going to keep working the same way and we're going to meet again for the next row, so we go back to the next one. way, I already have my hook inserted under the V and I have my slipknot on my hook.
I'm going to go ahead and lift that bow. I'm going to grab and chain one and then I'm going to go. I come back down the exact same stitch and I'm going to go ahead and end up doing a single crochet, so I'm going to pick up one loop and I'm going to pull through two, in this case it looks like three, so now what I'm going to need. What you have to do is I'm going to go ahead and immediately start doing one of my pull down double crochets. If you look at your work, put this horizontally, the next pointright here, this next stitch of mine is here when you drop, you're going to be right next to it and that double crochet from the previous row that we came down on, so we're going to go ahead and get ready to do a pull down double crochet, so I wrap my thread around. around my hook and here's the next stitch, so I'm just going to slide over to the previous row and grab it to cut it underneath.
I'm going to grab my yarn and pick up a loop keeping it loose, grab it and pull. across to grab and go through two and that's forming a shape so now I'm going to do a total of three more back loops with just one single crochet so I'm going to go into the back loop alone and do a single low point. single crochet and third back loop just single crochet now, if you take a look at the next stitch, it's going to line up where we're working right next to our last drop down, so I'm going to go ahead and do my double crochet drop down stitch. again, so I grabbed that loop.
I'm going to grab and pull up a loop. I'm going to grab and take out two. I'm going to grab and take out two. So now we're going to work here for our next drop down section, so we'll make sure to skip that point right there. Those are double crochets covering, we're going to move on to the next stitch and do our back loop. single crochet another back loop single single crochet is number two here is number three here is number four and now in this fifth stitch we are going to do our double crochet drop down so here is the fifth slide down there is my loop that I need to pull up, I'm going to grab and pull up one loop, grab and pull to grab and pull two, so now just like we did before, I'm going to make sure to move on to the next point and I'm going to do three back loops just single crochet one two in number three and here in this fourth stitch I'm going to do my drop down so I'm going to go down grabbing that loop I'm going to grab and pull. through two, grab and pull two, so I'm doing my high point again.
Now I'll make sure not to work on that point. I'm going to do it in the next one and I'm going to do a back loop just with a single crochet, it's one here it's number two, number three and number four and then on that fifth stitch, that's where we're going to do our menu. double crochet drop down, so I'm right there on that fifth stitch and if you look, that's the fifth, I'm just sliding right down and grabbing that loop and I'm going to grab and pull up one loop, grab and pull through two, grab and pass for two and then I'll do my three singles. crochet into the back loop just two and number three and now I'm going to do my double pull down crochet here in this fourth, there's the fourth.
I'm going to go straight down that row and we'll wrap around to make a double crochet. I can grab and pull up a loop. I'm going to grab and pull two, grab and pull two, that's how you're going to work this whole row, so you're going to work exactly the same way every time. Go down the rest of this row, so you're working like you've been doing, and go ahead and pause here. Meet me when you are ready to move to the next line. I'm just finishing. real quick because I'm right here at the end of my sample that I'm making for you guys to show you how to do this so I'll finish if you're still watching with me you have a Boz Jet and my row is made with a single crochet under both loops in the last stitch, shade up and cut the thread, go through that loop and gird, this is what your works look like now, in the next row we are going to do a lot.
More drop-down menus, so if you're working with cutouts, you'll need to make sure you have enough to make that row; otherwise you're going to want to go ahead and change the color, so for me, I'm going to change a little bit darker color and I'm going to go ahead and put it on my hook, prepare my slip knot, go up here to the first stitch and insert it on that first point. I'm going to pull up a loop, go ahead and chain one, come back down that exact same loop and I'm going to go through all of that, so now for you guys, you'll be like me, you've worked on the first stitch and you can do it.
Don't drop before because there's nothing left here in this double crochet, we're going to work a single crochet in the back loop just on top of that and now here, in the next stitch, we're going to go ahead and wrap. and we do our double crochet drop down stitch, so we're here at this point and we're going to go down to the previous row and we're going to place a double crochet drop down stitch right above that stitch and now here in the next stitch we're going to do the same thing right here, this is our next stitch and it's directly over our double crochet from the previous one, we're grabbing the front loop of our previous double crochet pull down, so let's go ahead and do the same thing on the next point, here's our next point, we're going to come down here and take our loop, we're doing another pull down double crochet, this is how it looks for you and now onwards.
At the top of this double crochet drop down, we're going to work on the back loop just in a single crochet, now here, right next to our single crochet, here in this double crochet drop down and we're going to make our stitch low in the back. loop just in the next stitch and then we're going to do the next two stitches, we're going to do our double crochet, drop down, there's one and then there's a next stitch, we're going to go down and do our double crochet. pull down crochet and then we're going to do our back loop just single crochet in the next two stitches, so the next two stitches are just the back loop, now we're going to do our three double pull down stitches in a row right here in the center of our pattern so we're going to do that three times there's one two and here's the number three and then we're going to do two single crochets in the back loop only in the next two stitches there's one and here's two now we're going to do two of our stitches double crochet drop downs, one in each of the next two stitches, so there's one and here's number two, now we're going to do two of our single crochet loops just in the next one. two stitches now we're going to do three of our double crochet drop down stitches in the center of our work that we have here, this is what we look like and this is how you're going to work the entire row, you know?
Work this exact same way throughout the rest of your row and you can pause here and join me again when you finish this path and move on to the next. I'm going to do my two singles. crochets in the back loop only in the next two stitches now I'm going to do the next two stitches. I'm going to do a double pull down crochet and then the repeat starts again. You're going to do your two singles. crochets and the back loop only and then you're going to do your three double crochet pull downs here in the center of your pattern and there are only three stitches there, so it makes it pretty easy and keep up with the only three stitches available to work with and work in Emme, so we're going to work down and I'm here at the end of my row, so I'm going to work in my back loop just two single crochets of those and then I'm going to do My traditional single crochet under the V here on the last point and my row is that, what your work looks like, okay, so here we are back and I'm going to move on, I'm going to start my path like I've done each and every one of them.
This time I'm working under the V and I go in there and do my traditional single crochet right there in the first stitch, just like that and then since it's at the beginning of the row, we don't want to do a drop down. It's going to be difficult here when we have to add our border, so we're just going to work, in this case we're going to go ahead and work by making single crochets in the back loop just until we're done. here and at that point we're going to be able to do our next drop down, so we're going to go ahead and do a total of one, two, three by five and then at our sixth point, we're going to be able to do our drop down, so we're going to do our double crochet pull down gun down there and grab that loop up so our work looks like this.
Now we are going to do our single crochet back loop only in the next two stitches. We're going to be able to do our drop down single crochet in the same way, now cross these stitches here in the center of our pattern. We're going to do our single crochet only in the back loop so that there is number two, number three. four, number five, five of those and then we're going to do our high point dropdown, so we're going to work between the previous dropdowns that we have, there are high points that we're going to work on right there, that's what our work is go like this, so it's going to go ahead and do its two single crochets just in the back loop and then we'll do that drop down again.
We're here at this point, so let's go ahead and make our double crochet dropdown. Now we're going to do five single crochets in the back loop, just two, three, four and five, and then that six stitches will be our double crochet drop down. You are going to continue working on this. exactly the same way across the entire row, the next two stitches will be a single crochet back loop, only there's one, here's two and then we'll do a drop down of double crochets and then five single crochets in the back. make a loop just through the center here of your pattern and then a double crochet that you unfold down, so we're going to continue working the same way.
You can go ahead and pause here, work your way down and come back to me when you're already starting a next row and make sure here at the end for those who are still watching or coming back that you always do that single crochet and the last traditional single crochet so that's it. what your work looks like we look good so we're I'm going to go ahead and trim our thread and move on to the next row. Okay, so we go back and start our line. I'm already at the first point, then I picked up my loop and I'm going to continue. go ahead and chain one, then I'll come back down at the exact same point, dropping my tail and I'll go ahead and pick up a loop and then I'll pull through all the loops on my hook to make my own first single crochet right there, I'm first, like this which now in the next stitch, we're going to go ahead and do a pull down double crochet, so here's our next stitch, so we're going to go down here to this row. underneath, slide down, go ahead and lift one loop, go through two and go through two and now, in the next four stitches, we're going to do the exact same thing.
We're going to go ahead and do our double crochet pull downs so we're going to go ahead and move on to the next stitch and we're going to do a double crochet drop now, so it's just a double crochet worked into that front loop from the previous row, like this that we are going to continue two more times. and we will continue forward. I'll show you the repeat of the entire row here in a moment and look, we have a total of five for this section, so now we're going to do the back. single crochet loop and we're going to continue with that to get our single crochet loop in the next one, it's going to be a total of four stitches like this, now we're going to start doing our drop down again here because we're here in the center of our pattern, so let's go ahead and make the page rot right here, it's our next point, there's a double crochet dropdown here's another double crochet dropdown here's another double crochet dropdown, this is our next point we're going to drop it right here, it's number four, you're going to have a total of five of those in the middle sections just like that and now we're going to have our single crochet in the back loop one two three and four rounds four of those like that and then you come back. to your rep, you're going to do your five double crochet drop downs and then each time they're going to be separated by four single crochets in just the back loop, that's how you're going to work this whole sore row, then continue, pause the video here and work down and we'll meet again when you're ready to move on to the next row, so We've got our single crochet here and we've already done the traditional single crochet and the first stitch, so now we're going to work our back loop with just single crochets down for the next six points, so there's one, here's number two, here's number three, number four.
Number five six, so you've already finished six of our single crochets from the back loop now we're going to do two pull down double crochets, so here in the seventh stitch we're going to go in and do our double crochet and we're also going to do one right next to that here in our eighth stitch also that's what we're forming now we're going to go ahead and go into our back six loop just single crochets one two three times five six Sorry you have to do seven of them now that we're going to the end of the row , so do seven, seven is going to be your repeat, you're going to do seven of those and then in the eighth and ninth stitches, eight and nine, we're going to do our double crochet drop downs like now.
We're going to do our seven single crochets in the back loop and that will be your repeat. You are going to work exactly the same way until the end. I have four of mine done five, six and seven and then we are. We will do two of ourdouble crochet tails, one in each of the next two stitches, and then we will do the seven single crochets only in the back loop and continue down in exactly the same way until the end of the rest. his
