May 04, 2020
Hi everyone this is Courtney with Fox Fiber Studios and today we're going to start our

crochet

which will teach you how to do the different

mosaic

crochet

pattern

s some of which I'm showing here but

mosaic

crochet is really nice. from an organic crochet you can create your own

pattern

s you can decide to use these patterns in any way you want as long as you don't have to start with the same pattern I'm starting with some videos and you could switch it up and start with that pattern and mix it all up depending on the projects you're going to make so you can use this to make things like baby blankets or oversized blankets pillows purses project bags I mean the number of things you can use this is endless so it's really up to you what size project is going to do in this case but we're going to chain in multiples of 10 to start with so whatever design you decide to do as much as possible the actual finished project you're going to chain in multiples of 10 and then we're going to start making the various patterns and we're going to start making a pattern a

week

and/or a pattern from a video i should say so here's a sample i was working on last night here's another one from the other day and here's one of the blankets I've made that shows quite a few different patterns that you can do and I was basically just winging it while doing different things along the way and I'm going to show you how to do that too so just to give you an idea of what a mosaic crochet will look like with a lot of texture, something geometric, really pretty pretty stuff if you've ever done irregular teardrops which is a mosaic crochet to me. ve hacci tears that

part

icular stitch is used a lot often for crocheting mosaics here's a sample from here I had some Apache tears I just finished on a longer format so let's go ahead and get started.

I need, I'm wearing the size for the yarn today, but I also have a size three that I'm going to work on the project. I recommend you use a size three or four yarn for this and you're going to use a five point five millimeter hook, you can use a five millimeter if you want a much tighter project, but I'm going to use the five point five millimeter and this it's perfect for waste. All of this blanket you see here was made from scrap so I just had yarn on hand which I didn't have enough for a big project so mix them all up. together so you can choose your colors you don't have to do these patterns in a solid color you can mix it up you can do it you can mix it from one row to another and make a color transition and you can do it in completely contrasting colors you don't have to be neutral.

Today I am going to work with a white thread, since I basically made my patterns for you, so for me I am going to use the same color working upwards. but you don't have to do that, it's completely up to you and you can be completely creative with that, so we're going to go ahead and pause here and start right, so we're going to go ahead and start here. I'm going to use this as an example piece, you can start with the color that you're going to use to display your shapes here or you can start with the color that will be the center, it's completely up to you which way to go with this.

I'm going to start with the accent color basically it's what we'll call color B. and then color a is going to be white for me and that's what's going to make up my shapes what I'm doing my drop down so we'll go ahead and we'll start for me like i said we're going to chain in multiples of ten plus five at the end or six at the end sorry chain multiples of ten plus six at the end so we're going to go ahead and start you just need to tie a slipknot to get it out of the way, so I go ahead and make my slipknots like this.
mosaic crochet along cal pattern 1 part 1 beginner friendly crochet week 1
I take my working thread here. This is the tail here and I move it into position and then I pull back and I pinch back to create my slipknot so I'm going to go ahead and start chaining so to make the chain you just have your slipknot already on your hook and then you grab your yarn and pull through and that forms your first chain here's my second third fourth fifth six seven eight nine ten eleven twelve thirteen fourteen fifteen sixteen seventeen eighteen nineteen twenty and I'm going to chain my six at the end you're going to go ahead and pause and work your way down until you have the desired size of the project you want to do and then make sure to chain the extra six at the end to work in multiples of ten and chain the extra six at the very end and then you you'll join me and we'll start with row two so you'll join me you've got your base chain ready and we're going to go ahead and we're going to be working on single crochets and then loop back back just, so I'm going to go ahead and I'm not going to go into this first chain, so I'm going to skip this first chain and go right here to the second one and I'm just going to work on the back loop, that top loop, that that's all I'm working on so I'm not going to go into both and I'm going to pull up and single crochet and that's what I'm going to do to the end of this row so I'm going to go ahead and go in in the next loop back alone or if you look and see your project you're just working in a loop and that's how it's going to be throughout this so you're going to go ahead and work the exact same way all the way through working a single crochet in the back loop just to the end of this row and then you'll meet me at the end you're going to be single crocheting that last stitch so we'll meet there to finish your row nice so we we'll meet here at the end of the line and I've got two stitches left to work on, so So I'm going to go ahead and work this next one just a s I've been and then we're going to go into the last stitch of the row and we want to go under the V, we want to make sure we go into both loops like you would traditionally because that it will make putting on the edging much easier so we'll go ahead and single crochet as we normally would by working just under the two loops below the V this is how you finish each and every row so for I ended up with 35 stitches that we had chained together in multiples of 10 plus 6 at the end and then we skipped one and worked on that second one so it led to an odd number of stitches and that's one of the things you want for me every time I've worked on a project it seems to work best when I have an odd number of points so I have 35 points you'll have the number of points you had plus 5 basically at the end so go ahead and wrap up this is the least fun of East kind of crochet, mosaic crochet is we have to go ahead and trim or your yarn down here we're going to have a lot of tails and you're going to have a lot of weaving at the end that's the only downside so here I am at the end and I like to chain two and then I'm going to cut my yarn and you want to leave a decent tail, it doesn't have to be extremely long, but you want to leave a decent tail so you have something to work with to weave it in and then I stop and I'm going to gird and that's how I end up that way I never have any crumbles so now what we're going to do is add back the exact same color because I need three rows and then I'm going to start with three rows of this you know color B and I need three rows and then I'll start targeting here so we'll go ahead and go under the V and make sure you go under. the V because we are going to start making a single crochet at the beginning of the row and just like we are finishing with a single crochet at the end that is worked under the B under the t the two little loops so that we have an easy way to put in a border so I'm going to go ahead and grab my yarn and I'm going to add it back in it's going to be the same for you and unfortunately we'll be a trim yarn in each row so I recommend as you work this and finish each section, each pattern go ahead and sew your ends like that you don't have a billion ends so at the end and i have to make it unravel some yarn and that's what i'm doing here so let me pause real quick and I'll come back and add this so I'm back and I already have the slipknot on my hook and we're going to move on and we have our hook under the two loops under that V and now I have my slipknot and I put it on the hook and I'm going to follow her nte and mention that and then I'm going to grab both the tail and the working yarn and chain one and then I'm going to tuck back under those loops and I'm going to go ahead and let the tail fall over the top of my work and now i'm going to pick up a loop and make a single crochet so now i'm going to come back here working on the back loops alone so i'm working on that back loop i got the tail you can go ahead and work over your tail you blocked it instead you can work over your tail and I like to leave a little bit hanging back so I can tie a knot it's just me personally you.
You can do it however you want, but you're going to do the same thing you did in the last row. You've been going into just those back loops and single crocheting all the way down, so you're going to do the same. and then we'll start our next color on the next row, so you'll continue and work exactly the same as you've been working on the back loop alone and we'll meet again at the end. and do that single crochet at the end one more time together so we're going to go ahead and pause here work down single crochet in the back loop just down just making sure you can see where I'm going in that loop back just so look at your v's and select the one in the back and go ahead and work the same way so let's go ahead pause here and meet me at the end of your row and we're here at the end of our row so we're going to go ahead and work under that, go into both loops and we're going to do our last single crochet and then for me I'm going to chain two and I'm going to go ahead and cut my yarn now we're going to go over and transition to our color because considering the

part

that I'm going to use I'm going to do the same color throughout so my shapes will highlight my shapes so for me this is my color and it's the one that I'm going to use the most like so i'm gonna go ahead and do u n slip knot we're going to go back here to the front of our rope and I'm going to go under both loops there from the beginning and I'm going to go ahead and pull up a loop now I'm going to grab both the tail and the chain working yarn one now I'm going to go back down at that same point exactly the same and I'm going to pull up a loop so now I'm going to grab my thread and go through all three, it looks like there are three there.
I'm going to go through all of those, so now that's my first first stitch on this row, so now I'm going to work the next two back loops just like this. one here is number two so the next two back loops and now on the fourth one I'm going to do a drop down so here's the next stitch and if you look directly below we have this front loop that's left of us working on the back loops so I'm going to wrap my yarn around my hook and I'm going to go basically I'm doing a double drop crochet so I'm going to go right down here to this front loop and I'm going to turn my hook like this so I can grab it and I'm going to grab my working yarn here grab and pull a loop now I'm going to grab again and pull through two grab a win and pull through two so I just made my first drop down what I call them , so the double crochet is over the work and we take a look you can see it adds dimension to it now here to make sure you're not working on the stitch that occupies this double crochet you can always take a look back here to make sure Rather than not working on the stitch that our high point occupies I hope I can make it turn this a little bit better you can see what I mean so it will skip that stitch right there because our double crochet rests right on top of that so it will just make sure if you're ever not sure if you're going in the wrong stitch just slide your work back, you can make sure you're skipping one and we're going to go to the next one and we're going to work, in this case we're going to work eight more single crochets and the loop back just so there's number two number three number four number five remember six number seven number ei Okay now I'm going to do another drop down so I mean I come here I'm going to wrap my yarn around my hook , I'm going to go straight down, here's the stitch that I would be working on. slide down to this front loop in the front one row down and I'm going to slide my crochet hook under grab my yarn and pull one loop grab my yarn and pull through two grab my yarn and pull through two and you can.
Look, you have that backstitch that is covering this double crochet. Now I'm going to insert it into the next stitch and I'm going to go right there and do my eight single crochets and the back loop just like that. you're going to be doing eight single crochets in the back loop and then one drop down double crochet the entire row until you get to the end so you'll just go ahead and work the exact same way and I'm going to work along with you like this that I have four, here's number five, number six, number seven, number eight and now I'm going tobe going down this is my ninth stitch right here so i'm going to go down you want to make sure you're not stretching your work you want to make sure you're not coming here and grabbing this loop you want to go straight down to slide the hook straight down turn so it can grab just the front loop and then grab and pull up one loop grab and pull through two grab and pull through two and take a look back there we're going to skip that stitch to go to the next one it's right next to it , we're going to that and we're going to do eight more back loops just single crochet there's two three number four number five or six number seven number eight and now we're here this ninth stitch we're going to wrap our yarn around our hook and we're going to right d right here slide down into that front loop and then we're going to grab our yarn pull our loop grab our yarn and pull through two grab our yarn and pull through two now we just fold it forward we're going to skip that stitch to the right there we're taking that one and moving over here to this next one and we're going to continue doing our back loop just single crochet for me.
I'm at the end of my row so I'm doing three back loops just single crochet and then I'm going to finish with my single crochet going under both loops we're going to work directly under the v to make the last stitch of the row, so you're going to continue the same way doing eight back loop single crochets in your ninth stitch, you're going to be going down doing this front loop single crochet that goes into the previous row, so we're going to skip a whole row, come here to this that's why we needed to work this way and have so much work so you'll go ahead and work the exact same way all the way down and then you'll meet me when you're ready to go ahead and move on to the next row.
I'm going to be chaining two and cutting my yarn from the bottom and now I'm going to go ahead and grab my yarn again and I'm going to add another row. I'll make sure to go under both loops here at the front of the row if you get too deep. tight with it it's a little hard to get in there but you can do it and I'm going to go ahead and grab and lift a loop I can't grab both the little tail work tail and chain work yarn in one go I'll go back down to same exact stitch right there on the first one and I'm going to go ahead and pull my loop up to do my single crochet grip and go through all the loops I have on my hook and then I'm going to start working on the back loop just again , so we're going to work the exact same way throughout this row, we're not actually going to do any drop downs on this particular row, we're just going to work a full row of single crochet and the back loop only on this one, so you're just going to work the back loop only to the end there's no drop down so no double crochet drop nails in this row so this is a very very easy row so we're going to work that way right down to I make a low point in the back loop just so you can continue and pause here.
Meet me when you have completed your row. I'll move on to the next row remember at the end you're going to make sure to single crochet both loops under the V in the last stitch that's the only thing to remember for this row down all the way down I'm making one stitch low in the back loop just okay so we'll gather back ready to move to the next row so I'm going to go ahead and take my color which is the main color. color that I'm using to form my shapes and I'm going to go ahead and add it so you can see them go under both loops so we need to d this first stitch to make it a single crochet.
I'm going to chain one each time and come back down to the exact same spot and pull up a loop and finish my single crochet. Now we are going to work on the back. loop at the next point and then at this next point we're going to do a dropdown again so this is now where we're going to connect the rows so we have two points and then the third one here. we're going to wrap our yarn and we're going to slide it down and do drop down treble crochets so we're going to slide it down and you'll see that there's the front loop and you can grab it and do that with you one more time make sure you know exactly where you go here here's the next stitch that goes straight down and there's a loop that we're going to grab and pull on that now we're going to grab our yarn pulling up loop that you don't want to tighten on these you want to keep them a little bit loose so keep that in mind you want to make sure your yarn is looped your hook want to go down here you want a slip right down on the stitch you're going to work grab that loop grab your yarn and lift up a loop grab your yarn and pull to grab your yarn and pull two and I'll pull it tight you want it to be really loose where it's going to catch on down here and grab that stitch and lay it nice and flat on top so now I'm the next stitch that e is directly above the last drop we're just going to make a back loop just one single crochet and now in this next stitch we're going to go ahead and wrap our yarn we're going to unfold again so we're going to go straight down and you can see that it's right next to your last dropdown.
You want to grab that loop, pull a loop, grab and pull to grab and pull, so you're doing your double crochet on your front loop and that's what you're going to do. so it looks like this now we're going to continue down doing our back loop just make sure you're not scrun ching your work over you don't want to accidentally work the stage the double crochet you just made is covering that stitch so come on going to go here into the back loop of the next stitch and we're going to continue working just like we've been doing our single crochet in the back loop just until we get here to our next drop down so we have three four five six stitches like so that you're going to do six of your back loop just single crochet so there's a number four for me there's a number five and here's number six now we're right here we want to do our roll down the seventh here's the seventh stitch we're going to go down here to the row before this white section for me and we're going to pick up that loop that we wrapped to make a double crochet, so we're going to draw a loop that goes through by two and go through two, so you're going to be doing your double crochet in the seventh stitch of this row leading up to and then we're going to have a single crochet in the back loop and when we're going to do it again, we're going to do our double crochet, so i'm wrapped for my double crochet here's the next stitch i'm going down to this little loop below and that's the loop i'm going to grab my yarn and i'm going to grab my yarn and pull a loop keeping it loose grab my yarn and pull two grab my yarn and pull two now as you can see this is what we're going to do all the way down I'm going to check and make sure I'm going to move on to the next stitch so I'm going to do 6 stitches low back loop just two three five six and then my seventh stitch is going to be a double crochet drop down so we're going to go right under slipping under that loop pulling one loop up there stay tight pull two grab and pull two now we're going to move on to the next stitch with just a single crochet back loop and now we're going to go down again so we're going to wrap our yarn and we're ready to do our double crochet so we're going to slide down find that loop pull it up and then we're going to pull up one loop grab and pull through two grab and pull through check and make sure you're going to skip this stitch in between the next one right there and you're going to go back just six stitches low just like you've been doing so this is how you work this whole row you can do this whole row and exactly the same way all the way down and then you'll meet me when you've finished your row and you're ready to move on to your next round, so for me I'm just going to finish my row with you guys.
I have made six back loops only single crochets. I'm going to wrap my thread. Get ready to do my double crochet. I will go here. I'm going to do my single crochet in the back loop just in the next stitch and then I'm going to wrap my yarn and do my treble crochet again and drop wn by grabbing that loop and grabbing my yarn and pulling up a loop by grabbing my yarn and pulling one loop or pulling through two grabbing and pulling through two that's going to finish it don't get too tight with those that's the main thing to remember is not to go crazy with those stitches so now I'm going to go ahead and finish my row by working more single crochets just in the back loop and then on my last stitch I'm going to do a traditional double crochet under those two loops for myself, I'm going to chain two and cut my thread and you guys can finish your project and reunite with me on the next row so we can continue to do a little more double crochet drop tails so this is what your work starts to look like and we're going to go ahead and start on our next row and I've got my slipknot ready I'm going to adel suede and insert under the V in the first stitch in the row and I'm going to grab my little slipknot and tighten it and I'm going to go ahead a and pull that loop up and then I'm going to grab both the working yarn and the tail and chain one .
I'm going to let my tail come up and fall and I'm going to come back down in the exact same stitch and I'm going to grab my yarn and pick up a loop, take my yarn and go through all the loops on my hook making a single crochet. Now I'm going to do two laps back just one single crochet, so I'll do that next. stitch pull loop and pull to go to the next stitch and do the same single crochet just in the back loop and now we're here in our center of our double drop crochets from the previous row so we're going to go ahead and do another crochet double scroll down right here between these two so we're going to grab our yarn wrap it around our hook and we're going to go here's our stitch we're going to slip down there's the loop that we want to pick up so we're going to grab and pick up that loop we're going to grab our yarn and pull up a loop keeping it nice and neat since you don't want to get super tight oops uh split my yarn lemme go back to grab and pull a loop you don't want to get it tight you don't have tight tension here crying and pulling through two grips and pull through two now if you take a look it's already starting to form its shape so in the next stitch we're going to do our back loop or just single crochet and we're going to continue down and we're going to do that it's the same all the way down so we bring them to the center stitch between the previous double crochet drop down row so we're going to be doing one , two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight single crochet in the back loop only. so there's my third eight more than we should say so you're going to work like this until we get to the center point here between our two drop down treble crochets so I got to that point so this is how we look and we're right here our next stitch is here in the center of our two fold out dou. ble crochets so we're going to go straight to green for me or mint and I'm going to pull that loop right under it and I'm going to grab and pull through two grab and pull to do my double crochet so that'll be the way this worked across the row you're going to work your way down doing the back loop just single crochets until you get right in the middle that's you in double drop crochet from the previous row and that's where it's going to be going down so this is pretty easy to do watching tv and all that kind of stuff where you just have to be careful about the center stitch on this row so you work the exact same way down the whole row doing the back loop alone single crochet and then when you get to that center point, that's where you're going to do the drop double crochet, so I've done it again in another center point, so I'm going to Forward, my yarn.
I'm going down. There's my stitch, so I'm going to go to the platform. go down under to the previous row grab that loop up I'm going to grab and pull a loop grab and pull to grab and pull to make sure I don't keep my tension tight we want to have looser tension so we don't draw the stitch forward up, we don't want it to rise up like this, we want it to stay where it's falling, naturally covering that target, so you're going to go ahead, pause here and work the exact same way across your row and we'll meet again when we come back to our color, which for me will be the color white, we're going to move into that on the next row and we're going to work on some more drop-down treble crochets as we form the pattern we're making, so we're working on this one right here forming this, like so that you're going to continue working the same way and we'll meet again for the next row so we're back on the next path I already have my hook inserted under the V and have I go my slipknot on my hook.
I'm going to go ahead and pull that noose. I will grab and chainone and then I'll go. I went down exactly the same stitch and I'm going to continue and I'm going to end up doing a single crochet so I'm going to grab one loop and pass two in this case it looks like three so now what I'm going to need to do is I'm going to go ahead and immediately you get to make one of my dropdown double crochets if you take a look at your work you lay it flat the next stitch right here this next stitch from me is right here when you drop you'll be right next to it and that double crochet from the previous row where we go down so we're going to go ahead and get ready to double crochet down so I wrapped my yarn around my hook and here's the next stitch so I'm going to slide down to the previous row and grab that to cut myself underneath I'm going to grab my yarn and pull up one loop keeping it loose grab and pull to grab and pull through two and that's forming a shape so now I'm going to do a total of three back loops plus just single crochet. or, so I'm going to go into the back loop just single crochet back loop single single crochet and the third back loop just single crochet now if you take a look at the next stitch it will line up where we're working right next to our last drop down so I'm going to go ahead and do my double drop down crochet again so I grabbed that loop I'm going to grab and pull one loop I'm going to grab and pull through two I'm going to grab and pull through two so now we're going to work here on our next drop down section, so we'll make sure to skip that stitch right there. double crochets covering we're going to move on to the next stitch and we're going to do our back loop single crochet under another back loop single crochet under is number two here's number three here's number four and now in this fifth stitch we're going to make our double crochet pull down so here's the fifth slip down there's my loop that I need to pull up I'm going to grab and pull one loop, grab and pull to grab and pull through two like this now, just like we did before I'm going to make sure to move to the next stitch and I'm going to do three back loops just single crochet one two at number three and here in this fourth stitch I'm going to do my drop down so I'm going to go down grabbing that ribbon.
I'm going to grab and pull through two grab and pull through two so I'm doing my double crochet again now I'm going to make sure that I'm not going to work on that stitch I'm going to go to the next one and I'm going to do a back loop just sing le crochet is one here is number two number three and number four and then in that fifth stitch that's where we're going to do our double drop down crochet so I'm right there in that fifth stitch and if Look, that's the fifth. I'm sliding right down and grabbing that loop and I'm going to grab and pull one loop grab and pull through two grab and pull through two and then I'm going to do my three single crochets in the back loop just two and the number three and now I'm going to do my drop double crochet here in this fourth right there's the fourth one I'm going to go straight down that row and we'll wrap to make a double crochet that I can grab and pull up a loop I'm going to grab and pull through two grab and pull across two this is how you're going to be working this entire row so you're going to work the exact same way all the rest of this row so you're going to be working like you've been working and go ahead and take a break here come back to me when you're ready to move on to the next row for me I'm just wrapping up real quick because I'm right here at the end of my show I'm doing for you guys to teach you how to do this so just or I'm going to finish if you're still looking with me is you have a Boz jet and my row is single crochet under both loops in the last shade of stitch up and cut the yarn pull through that loop and tighten this is what your jobs look like now in the next row we're going to be doing a lot more dropdowns so if you're working with scraps you'll need to make sure you have enough to do that row otherwise you're going to want to go ahead and switch between color, so for me I'm going to change just a slightly darker color and I'm going to go ahead and put that on my hook, prepare my slipknot, come here to the first stitch. and insert at that first point.
I'm going to raise a lasso. Go ahead, chain one. Go back down the exact same loop and I'll go through it all. So, now for you guys, you're going to be like me, you've worked on the first point and you can't come down sooner because there's nothing left right here at this high point that we're going to work on. a single crochet in the back loop just on top of that and now here in the next stitch we're going to go ahead and wrap and make our drop-down single crochet so we're here in this stitch and we're going to go down to the previous row and we're going to place a single drop crochet right there on top of that stitch and now here in the next stitch we're going to do the same here this is our next stitch it's directly over our double crochet from the previous one, we're grabbing the front loop of our previous double drop crochet drop, so we're going to go ahead and do the same thing in the next stitch here's our next stitch we're going to go down here and grab our loop we're doing another double crochet drop down so that's how that's looking and ou and now here in the top of this double crochet dropdown we're going to work the back loop just in a single crochet now here right next to our single crochet here in this dropdown double crochet dropdown and we're going to do our single crochet in the back loop just in the next stitch and then we're going to do the next two stitches we're going to do our dropdown single crochet there's one and then there's a next stitch that we're going to go to down and do our drop down single crochet and then we're going to do our back loop just single crochets in the next two stitches so the next two stitches are the back loop just single crochets now we're going to do our three drop down double crochets in one row right here in the center of our pattern so we're going to do that three times there's one two and here's number three and then we're going to make two single crochets in the back loop just in the next two stitches there's one and here there are two now we are going to do two of our double crochet low one in each of the next two stitches so there is one and here is number two now we are going to do two of our single crochet back loop on the next two stitches now we're going to make three of our double drop-down crochets in the center of our work that we have here this is how we look and this is how you're going to work the entire row you know work exactly the same way throughout the rest of your row and you can pause here and meet me when you get there when you finish this path and move on to the next one I'm going to do my two single crochets in the back loop just the next two stitches now I'm going to do the next ones two stitches I'm going to do a double crochet down and then the repeat starts again you're going to do your two single crochets and the back loop only and then you're going to do your three double crochet drop down stitches here in the center of your pattern and There's only three stitches there so it makes it pretty easy and keep up with the only three stitches available to work and work on Emme so we're going to work our way down and I'm here at the end of my row so what I'm going to be working on my back loop just single crochet two of those and then I'm going to do my traditional single crochet under the V here in the last stitch and my row is what your work looks like nice so here we are back and I'm going Next, start my way just like I've done every time I'm working under the V and going in there and doing my traditional single crochet right there at the first stitch, just like that and then because it's at the beginning. of the row we don't want to make a drop down here it's going to make it difficult when we have to add in our edge so we're just going to work in this case we're going to go ahead and single crochet the back loop just until we get here and at that point we'll be able to do our next dropdown so we're going to go ahead and do a total of one two three times five and then at our sixth point we're going to be able to do our dropdown so we're going to do our double crochet drop down. there and grab that loop up so our work looks like now we're going to make our single crochet back loop in just the next two stitches now we're going to be able to make our double crochet drop down just like now cross these stitches here in the center of our pattern, we're going to do our single crochet in the back loop, so there's a number two, number three, number four, number five, so five of those and then we're going to do our double crochet drop down, like this that we're going to be working between those previous drop downs that we have there are double crochets we're going to work right there this is what our work looks like so you're going to go ahead and do your two single crochets in the back loop only and then we're going to do that dropdown again, we're right here at this POI No, so we're going to go ahead and do our high point dropdown.
Now we're going to do five single crochets in the back loop, just two, three, four, and five, and then that single crochet six will be our double crochet dropdown. you're going to keep working the exact same way to the end of the row the next two stitches will be a single crochet back loop only there's one here there are two and then we're going to do our double crochet drop down and then five of your single crochet in the back loop just in the center here of your pattern and then a double crochet that goes down, so we're going to keep working the same way. you're already starting a very next row and make sure here at the end for those who are still watching or coming back that you always do that single crochet and the last traditional single crochet this is what it looks like your work looks good so let's keep going and cut us arn and move on to our next row, so we're back and we're starting our row.
I'm already in that first stitch, then I have my loop up and I'm going to go ahead and chain and then me. I'm going to go back down at exactly the same point dropping the tail and I'm going to go ahead and pick up one loop and then go through all the loops on my hook to make my first single crochet right there. I'm first so now in this next stitch we're going to go ahead and double drop crochet so here's our next stitch so we're going to go down here to this bottom row slide down forward and pull one loop, pull two and pull two and now for the next four stitches we're going to do the exact same thing we're going to go ahead and do our double crochet pull down stitches so we're going to go ahead and the next stitch and we're going to do a double crochet drop now so it's just a double crochet worked into that front loop from the previous row so we're going to go ahead two more times and we'll keep going.
I'll show you the repeat of his entire row here in a moment and look, we've got a total of five for this section, so now. we're going to make our back loop single crochet and we're going to follow that to get our back loop single crochet in the next one it's going to be a total of four stitches so now we're going to start making our drop down again here because we're here on the center of our pattern so we're going to go ahead and page rot right here is our next stitch there's a treble crochet drop down here there's another treble crochet drop down here it's another double crochet drop down this is our next stitch we're dropping it here it's number four you'll have a total of five of those in the center sections like this and now we're going to have our single crochet in back loop one, two, three, and four loops four of those like this and then you go back to your rep, you're going to do your five dropdown double crochets and then each time they're going to be separated by four single crochets in the back loop, only that's how you're going to work this whole row sore so go ahead and pause the video here and continue down and we'll meet again when you're ready to move on to the next row so we've got our single crochet here and we've already done the traditional single crochet and the first stitch, so now we're going to work our back loop just single crochet down for the next six stitches so there's one here's number two here's number three number four number five six so We've done six of our now we're going to do two back drop-down treble crochets so here on the seventh stitch we're going to come in and do our treble crochet and we're also going to do one right next to it here on our eighth stitch as well that's what we're at. forming now we're going to go ahead and get into our back six loop just single crochet one two three for five six sorry you have to do seven of them now as we're going to the end of the row so do seven the seven it's going to be your repeat, you're going to do seven of those and then at points eight and nine, eight and nine, we're doing our menusdouble crochet dropdowns so now we're going to do our seven single crochets in the back loop and that's going to be your repeat you're going to work the exact same way all the way down I've got four of mine done five sixes and sevens and then we're going to make two of our double crochet drop tails one in each of the next two stitches and then you're going to make your seven single stitches.
Ochet in the back loop only and continue down the exact same way to the end of the rest of your
