Monster Hunter World Lore: Vaal Hazak
Apr 16, 2023For today's research mission, I find myself heading back to Rotten Valley once again. This is a place of death. A place of decomposition. I understand that this rotten valley can also be strangely dark and beautiful. This cavern we now find ourselves in is illuminated by the glow of these pools of cerulean acid, likely a byproduct of the decaying elder dragon doll Amador reaching further into the veil. We can witness eerie red light filtering down from the surface piercing the effluvia haze and crepuscular rays a stunning display of natural beauty you see it's part of human nature to fear what we don't understand it often happens that this fear of the unknown is a healthy evolutionary adaptation for our species it is a fear that often prevents us from putting our own lives at risk, but sometimes this fear can weigh heavily on our eyes an opaque shroud that obscures our true vision a dark lens that distorts our perceptions lost in our own terror we often fail to appreciate the natural beauty that surrounds us the amazing diversity of life we find in this new
world
when i began my research in this dark subterranean realm known as the rotten valley i heard reports of an undeadmonster
lurking in its deepest caverns a terrifying vampire creature decaying flesh covered the animated skeletal remains of an ancient elder dragon I heardhunter
s refer to this creature as a zombie a demon even a necromancer told me the beast in these caverns was an unnatural evil killing on sight draining the life essence from those foolish enough to journey into the depths of the rotten veil these reports of an undead elder dragon are inaccurate fear had clouded the judgment of those early explore
rs who first challenged the rotten veil my name is Rafa and this is a huzzah vowel as you can clearly see this gentle giant when it has not been provoked with good or no ill will towards human explore
rs, while it is true that this beast is a predator without equal, humans are simply not on the menu, the waha sock beats mostly in the effluvium that permeates the dead and dying. why the brains that are sucked into the veil when it rests are buried beneath heaps of rotting carcasses here in their nest the hook-like spines that cover the low ox body catch torn fragments of flesh and hide decaying on the floor of the cavern by wrapping the elder dragon in a cloak of the dead, this cloak of death serves as an extra layer of armored protection for Balzac and also helps the Beast cultivate the effluvium virus it needs for nourishment.I can't say for sure, however I strongly believe that the Haze effluvium permeating this realm is a virus similar to the frenzy virus of the old
world
the same virus cultivated and surrounding another greater dragon, the gormogon, like the frenzy virus, this effluvium drains the life from the lesser wyverns that inhabit the region, the effluvium has withered and deformed the bodies. Leaving these Jiro as little more than walking husks near death, these poor creatures wander the darkest corners of the veil cultivating the effluvium virus within their bodies and awaiting the return of base deeds. You see, Haziq Valley has a very strange method of feeding specialized organs. in the chest of Dragons are used to inhale the effluvium virus by collecting the food that is collected this virus grown in the dead and dying of Bale is in fact Express or saul casualties so the greatest defense of the Bahasa dragon can store large amounts of effluvium collected within its body and when enraged, the dragon can exhale this virus from its mouth as a deadly weapon.Vasek will defend his territory from both

s and other largemonster
s when necessary by unleashing a concentrated blast of effluvium, and these blasts of effluvium are not the dragon's only defense. Serrated hinged double jaws are a fearsome arsenal of defensive weapons, so why isn't this beast attacking? It's more than capable of tearing a helpless researcher like me apart, limb by limb. fiercely intelligent realizing I pose no threat to his continued survival whilehazak
i is more than happy to share the resources of his natural habitat to allow me to walk beside him perhaps he is studying me learning my behaviors trying to discern my true intentions here are things i can never know for sure, however this is clear in this new world, fear is the greatest enemy of knowledge, the greatest threat to the survival of our own species may in fact be our own lack of willingness to shed the cloak of fear we wear and embrace. the strange and terrifying diversity this new world has to offer as always this is Vince Trafford peace outIf you have any copyright issue, please Contact
