double unders then 10 hanging dumbbells from single arm

split

snatches 10 single arm dumbbells hang clean and split jerks 80lbs here for the man i think this is a great event to pit the first and second place men against each other we are on our way adrian moonveiler 10th place overall not a name I would have expected to see at this point in the competition but he has played his cards right and here he is for the rest of the competition again both pegs need to go to the top and then both pegs need to get below that line red for representative account. noah olsen matt fraser and jorvin gumminson got off the wall at the same time jacob hefner closer to the camera now they are on their 100 double unders there are 22 scored reps each round they will get credit for just one rep once they complete the double per which at 22 will mean the end of round one the first of five rounds here in event seven you're looking at the first round since there's five of them it's kind of a preliminary round you don't need to go fast nobody here he's going to win the event in the first round, and you don't have to be cautious either, right?

You can just get on the pegboard, do 100 double unders, find your rhythm in the snatch, know what that dumbbell will feel like. Like when you go from snatch to clean and the dirt gets used to that split on that alternate pull, so this first round is a sensation for a lot of these athletes. I feel like with dumbbells you know it's a movement where rhythm can really help. you pull out and that's one of those things where the more rounds you do in a lot of ways the better a dumbbell feels matt frazier in the green and noah olsen in the red shorts the first two men in their hang split starts at 80lbs remember that you have to advance the opposite leg fr From the arm with which you are lifting, you lift with the right hand, the left leg has to go forward and vice versa.

It's very strange to see Matt in a shirt that isn't white. on his first split clean pull fraser and olson and bjorvin goominson on the right are his leaders matt mcleod and jacob hepner are fighting for fourth in the heat but we are early only the first of five rounds here fraser bowled 17 now 18 of the 22 reps in this opening round olson one rep drops 80 pounds on the dumbbell for men and fraser and olsen dead even through one we move on to round number two hey first sensation is up now it's starting to get into your groove and starts breaking in this event was the first pegboard was easy how did you feel getting to the rope?

What pace did you keep in the double unders? could you push the dumbbells a little faster? now it's time to try a few things in the next two rounds mate fraser don First with his second of five peg board climbs and now he's into a second round of 100 double unders. 22 more reps scored in this round. 44 will mean the end. The leader's name is highlighted in a blue box at the top of the screen. and the number in the white box will mean how many reps that man has completed jacob hefner in lane one is back for his second prayer board round two starts now james newbury returns to start round two these are his leaders matt fraser in the noah olsen in the middle left and second and bjorgen goobinson on the right the thing about the double unders in the middle of this

triplet

is this is your time to think about your game plan going into the dumbbells no one is coming in the middle of this hundred double go in and try to beat everybody and often when you try to do that you stumble a few times and do the exact opposite of what you wanted to do when you get to the double unders it's just staying consistent maybe drop the heart rate a bit move on to the dumbbell matt fraser finished with his second set of double unders first he is a bit ahead of noah olsen as olson will now join fraser in l The 80 pound dumbbell hanging sweepers I think I Like what Matt is doing on the right side of the screen is he's lowering the dumbbell to his shoulder and then he hangs.

We talked earlier about grip resistance being an issue. If you come down straight from the top it's going to put a tremendous amount of stress on your grip and your shoulders can stabilize that so you've seen some guys go straight to the ground you can see bjorg and carl goodman actually doing that on the right hand side of your screen it's a very smart move by matt fraser to save his grip fraser now at 10 hanging dumbbell clean pulls even though fraser is punching olson right now if olson stays close he minimizes the damage if they end up next to each other the whole sentence r can pick up his 10 points and that's a good feeling for noah like what's the worst that can happen coming in second to matt frazier well i think you're in a pretty good position well a lot of people have been second behind matt fraser and what you want to see is that it's only 10 points, it's good for noah, but 10 points 10 points 10. it starts to add up and now you start to push the perfection tion on some of these athletes because if matt is going to go on the charge picking up the top spots again the demand and stress on those other athletes becomes higher and the charge might be starting now is matt fraser walking back to the board to start round number three here comes noah olsen solidly in second and jordan goodmanson continues in third but matt fraser's hard work pays off as his motto and he's going to have to put a lot of that in here in the next few events to catch noah olsen as well that fraser isn't the shirt he wants anyway so he won't be wearing it anymore j acob hepburn james newberry and scott patrick and that bunch of guys who now just finished round number two we're in round number three 66 the magic number on the scoreboard that they must hit before going to round number four olson on the left fraser on the right noah olsen coming into this event with 499 points 65 up on fraser this is what i want to see d e noah olsen i didn't say you had to win the event to have a great event here i want to see how you handle the pressure of the event this is going to be an imperative moment for noah olsen if matt is going to be great at this event don't try to beat him try to beat everyone else trying to beat him and what we've seen from Noah in the past is he's trying to win events that he doesn't have to try to win and he ends up blowing it up we saw him a couple of years ago on the rope climb the two two two three yes at your pace yourself' you're great at all of those things but you put yourself at a disadvantage by going too hard maybe we'll let Matt just take this second kit take the ten point loss and move on to the next Matt Fraser event now starting to pull away from noah olsen this is round three ten more dumbbell split chunks for fraser now olson has had a few trips here in the double unders he has done jordan goomanson down left the screen trying to win some ground like matt mcleod in lane eight and scott panchik and lane four now start round number three and this is great proof that you know scott panchak for real I think he missed his first replay on the board in that first round but has made up ground by simply being consistent the rest of the rounds, he now sits in fourth behind fraser fraser with 10 reps to go here in round three.
Asshole he didn't break away at that point this is where you really have to keep your head on yourself and make sure you are doing the move correctly and not just fast it just requires a lot of attention. s and the problem with focus is if you get more fatigued it gets harder and harder because all they want to do is pick up the pace right you trust the habit he can do it but when you shed that little wrinkle that doesn't have any effect on the movement itself, aside from tricking you, that's where the athlete has to really focus on what they're doing. he needs a lot of people as many people as possible to come between him and noah olsen so he can win as many points as possible and cut off olson fraser's lead coming back now to start round number four fraser fired 66 of the 110 total reps in this event scored replays i should say like the 100 underscout double for just one replay on the scoreboard y'know sean we just saw noah olsen finishing his clean up jerks he hasn't actually lost too much brown but i think he just needs sta not focus anymore his attention on bkg which on him needs matt fraser it's ok to lose 10 in one event but it's so easy to lose another 20 total if orphan carl catches up to him if he's not paying attention noah olsen's rep counter has stopped dialing but is in second place he's to the right of your screen he's going up the board he's behind matt fraser for second place fraser is in his fourth round of 100 do jumps bles right in the middle of your screen in the dark blue shorts and noah olsen is not completely out of his mind i'm not saying he's going to get second because we still have two more rounds to go and there's a lot of work left on the table and that fraser has missed some double unders he got a couple of no dumbbell reps if noah can clean up his next two rounds he can get back in contention against matt fraser noah olsen just stay close to matt fraser and then minimize the damage olson is in second fraser is in first and bjorvin carl goob the inson closest to the camera in the maroon tank top is in third and goomanson is ahead of scott pancho the man directly in front of him in the overall standings so boomerson is looking to jump into third as matt fraser is now done with his fourth round of double unders and moves on to the dumbbell 80lb ten hang split snatches noah ol sen on back in red shorts is breaking out his double unders just like jordan carl gomez and olson back to work fraser finishing his set of 10 hanging dumbbell snatches and now moving on to hanging dumbbell split clean pulls here comes noah olsen but matt fraser has built a pretty good lead on overall leader noah olsen olsen entering the event with a 65 point cushion on fraser which will go down here if this has another non-rep for matt fraser as olson is on his first move with dumbbells the hang split snatches frazer is on his second the hang dumbbell clean and split jerks jacob hepner and james newberry they ha I just started round four they're falling off the beat madness they're getting ready to close out round number four, 88 reps and then it's one last trip back to the pegboard. he turns around as he makes his way back to the pegboard noah olsen remains in second place but he and bjorvin goomenson are getting closer here and the carl goodman oven on the right hand side of the screen took him ahead of noah so noah lost the advantage he had. in bkg he first started with the cleaning jerks this is good news for fraser if jordan garl goobinson can get ahead of olson that means fraser can get 20 points instead of just 10 on noah olsen fraser this is his fifth and final trip up and down the pegboard razer's done and now on the double unders olson is done with round four so he remains in second place ahead of bjorvin carl goodmansen and goomanson finishing his hang dumbbell clean and split jerks just get his bjorgen carl goodins on took a break midway through so after five reps he put the dumbbell down and had to rest on that set of ten no rep for groovington now that his footwork wasn't where the judge wanted that Matt Fraser was alone in first place and looking to get a little closer to noah olsen in the general classification olsen his fifth and last climb on the board and now olsen is back up immediately please edit by olsen now remember there are no other playoffs for fraser to win if olson stays where he is he's just going to give up ten points but jordan carl goodson is back on the pegboard he's in lane seven so that gooberton has now passed olson for second helping fraser goodmanson done, he's in double unders, fraser finished his double unders in this fifth and final round. now it will move on to the dumbbell and here comes noah olsen back to the jump rope now can noah keep calm after he essentially did a full pegboard and missed the last peg at the bottom can you keep calm enough like for g get back in position that's what we've been talking about throughout the whole weekend chase it's those little mistakes that end up costing you a ton I mean like you said it was the last hole on that pegboard that olson missed reckoning those little mistakes at exactly this point in time of the competition with how much is rotting down the line for each individual position and the end of the place and even just the sticksenergy going into a peg you miss a clean pull it's not so bad you miss a full dash rep that's a lot more effort to get back up matt fraser is done with his split stashes hanging in the background in the red shorts it's noah olsen he's on his double unders george carl gruberson on his grubenson had taken a sizable break and olson moved on but now groomington is done and he's moving on to the dumbbell so goomington now second fraser with 10 reps to go here he comes bjorgman goominson noah olsen returning to the dumbbell matt fraser will make his way to the finish line and only five more reps is to go through the organ carl goodman said it might cost him this second place finish two reps to go for fraser is back matt fraser wins event seven noah olsen now trying to deliver just 20 points to fraser goomanson on the right is in front of him here comes noah olsen are dead even with 10 reps to go noah olsen in the final set not broken for set of 10 where bjork and carl gomenson already broke their first set of snatches bkg has to hold on if he wants to beat noah so far both athletes are at point even olsen may have edged bjorvin goobinson by about a half a rep and now also continues to work three the reps to go for noah olsen has pulled ahead of yorba goominson olsen is over and will finish second so impressive by noah olsen to lose that peg board but still come back and take back that second place position jorvin goometson takes third that's good for 80 points now Goomenson was fourth overall just seven behind Panchik so Gumentson will move up and sit in the top three because of that Jacob Hefner and James Newbury prepare to end their events.
Jacob Hep. but it's so he takes four while james newberry is finished he's on that will be a great move for both james newberry who is sitting in seventh and scott pancheck sitting in ninth should really help both gentlemen too we still i have panchik and morad pantics to the right moradz to the left now panchik i think he finishes ahead of morad he looks like he's going to four if he's in the fourth round if patrick finishes ahead of morad patrick will probably stay in the top five less than two to go minutes for us to reach the 20 minute time limit.
Like Matt McCloud? He's trying to finish round number five. 15 36. and scott patrick is in panchik will take sixth good for 50 points now here comes matt macleod i mean all these finishes are great for jacob hepner happner was coming up to ninth and finished in a top four r position in this event might see sort of a similar situation like catching david's daughter above for women not joining any of the leaderboards after any event because they will probably change every time we go under the competition the 11 athletes in event seven the leaderboard the scoring system that is adrian moonveiler 10 seconds to go and that will make it since only three men can't complete all the work within the 20 minute time cat matt fraser gets his third win of the competition but noah Olsen does just enough to minimize the damage, but Frazier will sneak up on the man wearing the shirt he wants and wants and for which he has worked is back gets a first we knew this was going to happen with matt fraser he was going to come out strong he was going to come out aggressively he stayed nice and smooth on the double unders and once he moved in there he started to look like the brakes, noah olsen, who went down me with that 65 point lead over matt fraser i had that stumble and immediately thought this is your time to fix things because usually that's where no olson falls apart and becomes some kind of ball of snow in a negative headspace but matt fraser takes the win but i really love seeing how Noah responded to that happening at the end trying to chase first and lose that position and drop back ahead of bkg matt fraser where we are used to to see him in front of the pack at an event matt we're not used to seeing you come here without that white leader jersey, how much does that motivate you to come out here and push yourself to dominate an event? you know it was a really disappointing morning so i came here i was i was gonna try to win it if it meant he crashed and burned in the process i dont care im going for it did you crash and burn or did it go how you wanted it to out did you crash and burn or tackle it in a way you could keep up oh no i had no idea if i could keep up but i didn't care.
I go for the winds. One more event here for you tonight. It's clean weight lifting. It's your bread and butter. You are going to push to win. that one too oh absolutely nothing better than lifting in the coliseum we go one of the times so this crowd is going to go crazy congratulations thank you
