I won't go looking for them and we'll stick to the ones on this side of the fence. These are the Brussels sprouts we are giving up on because there are no Brussels sprouts among the sprouts. I think the Brussels sprouts are supposed to appear in the middle. These leaves, but the plants have had a long time and there are no Brussels, so we are going to tear them off. some pretty major improvements this year, plus my giant sequoias are now at least double the size. For me, I think my favorites, onions, for some reason. weirdly amazing and then also the corn which I felt was really great not to mention the pumpkins. I think we have about 30 of them. Pumpkins are freaking amazing. They didn't grow as much as I wanted, but I think they did. there's just too many people there at the end of the finger, too many plants, not enough space or nutrients to satisfy them all, so when we thin them out next year we should have bigger pumpkins and it should be a little better, this one is definitely the best.

The strangest looking squash of the bunch we are going to leave on the zucchini plants because they are still producing. It's quite amazing, it's really quite amazing that we can get all this food, all this vegetation and all these shrubs from just tiny seeds. and a lot of water and a lot of horse manure and good soil, so change now that we're done harvesting, what are we going to do differently for next year? Oh, I have a list of things, but the first one is pumpkins. they get their own row like it's not sharing it with anything else, just they have their own row and then the watermelon has its own row.

We planted so many pumpkins that they just took over everything and therefore fewer pumpkin plants, less boards, and more plants. room for them and we can delegate where they grow to make sure the vines only come out on one side instead of this year we just let them go unruly yeah and then cambrie couldn't even get two of the fingers down because they're just full of vines and next year we're talking about maybe putting a little fence or a trellis or something on them to get them to grow a little bit more instead of spreading, yeah, and trying to keep them away. from our neighbor's garden because we know they like to climb, yes, yes, I think our peas like sweet peas, sweet peppers and jalapenos, I think we will put a little closer to the shade, they just got too much sun, yes, the cucumbers were a total failure, they tasted terrible, there were too many of them, just terrible, so I'm going to try a different variety and less plants next year, and we like the lettuce too, we're overgrown with lettuce so I'm going to reduce it. even a row of lettuce, we just don't eat much for the two of us, yes, next year I will be much more aggressive with the insects, I am going to put diatomaceous earth because supposedly that keeps a lot of them away. away from your plants and then I'm also going to spray with neem oil because it's safe for bees and I was very happy with the number of bees we got this year so I want to keep them safe by just spraying neem oil. plants, overall, I would say this year's garden was a great success, but with what we know now, next year's garden will be even more successful, as well as the significant improvements we are going to make with the pavers and the system irrigation. which I can't tell you about yet, I'll save that for another video, yeah if you have any suggestions on what we should grow next year I'd love to hear them and if you have any gardening tips please let me know. in the comments thank you very much for watching see you there
