you look wait Okay. Yeah, and that's one of the things we have to work on, right? Yeah, well, we took it for a ballet show with PD. They say, oh, it looks a little gray on my skin. Okay, so we have to get rid of the photo on how to modify the cause and each new painter for me. Make sure it works on all skin tones. It doesn't pass for a great car.

Yes, you're probably ready. Yes, we are literally already on the road. This is very nice Hello. Oh, I'm just going to turn the pressure down. Well. I'm going to press all the way. We thought they had already ordered a job for him. Yeah, so you're going to take it off, so I'm going to push it out, push it up. It already has glue, it's fine. Because the magnet will do it for you. Oh my god, that's great. Can I just rub it? Oh, who is much stronger than he expected? He slides to the side. Hey, go and I was there.

More Interesting Facts About,

making my own makeup...

Yes, my goodness, try to see a good SWAT sister, let's see. OMG Hi, that's the other prettiest one that's one of our number one. Yes, I could see, yes, check it out in the Things Perfect collection. Oh my God. Well. Well. Let's move on to the next step So, for all the plans we made so far today, of course, we are doing the classic color pop fertilizer that we all know and love and that I love so many times But we didn't want to do At least one thing is custom and it's nothing evil. So today I'm going to make a custom gloss, hopefully it looks good, but I wanted to make a new, light, pinkish, peachy shade, like a new everyday wear.
making my own makeup
It's more or less the same. Here, what are you? I want a peachy pink to lead the school. We're leaning more towards pink and peach, so there should be more red. You're going to add more red than yellow. I want less yellow, right? Maybe it's not so similar because we're going to find out. Is there any reasoning behind putting the block there? What are you doing? It's not going to be too bright. Well, then, how to mute the tone a lot. I think it's like you're not like that. Literally a little extra crumb of binding, your whole color is wrong.

It makes a huge impact. Oh, I'd be ruining lipsticks here and there. So we have my powders all mixed together. Now we need to add the liquid base which turns it into a good enough mass to wet the pigments. I just grind it. Yes, you're fine, a little funny, a little depressed. Oh, that's a real good color. Let's add your pigments here. Don't put your hand in there. You don't want to lose anything. So I'm going to pour it right on top of here. Oh Lord. This is what I always see in those Instagram videos. OMG I'm so excited.
Wait. What is this job just for you to do? And then we went through it three times ready, yes, these are literally those Instagram paint mixing videos that I watched during those four hours. Okay, now you're going to mix it, so once you pass it three times. It goes like this, guys, it's my lip gloss. So let's assume it's just below here. Yes, I love these syringes, not going to lie. So this is just the brightly colored plastic lip: oh my gosh. There is. That's a lip color. Oh Lord. That's my shine. Hello. That's great. I just did this.
Just look what happens. Dildo. If that is all. I like the best. Well, I'm probably very good at it, I should probably do this as a job. Maybe maybe, okay. Yes, let's do it. Well, we literally finished baking almost my entire manufacturing routine in one hour to sit down. I have to rethink it. Okay, custom made at home. This is incredibly cool. But we have one product left and that will be it, of course. Eyebrows and eyebrow pencils are actually many parts in a different building in the same facility. So let's head over there right now so we can get my eyebrows in good shape.
What's that? Dear, downstairs, you have to keep everything sanitary, sister. Okay, we do the same repetitive thing. AHA. Oh please bring the dog. Yes Just press this and this together And then the bread I bet this is completely Realized Okay Nobody, okay. So obviously this is the first time I've done that, but you're like that. I start to raise my eyebrows. How many produce and likes in an hour? And hour a day And the whole other side, yeah, that's cool Well, I'll take one of my videos that I thought I was doing bro, but that's cool.
Oh, well on the assembly line now. Alright sisters, that's our lab day. Oh complete, we literally did every product in our

makeup

routine and it only took a few hours. That was crazy. And it's great to see everything here in person. Obviously, I'll post a link every day. Let's really see how practical it is. I think everyone involved from start to finish is an amazing, cool process. I definitely have my wheels spinning, sorry. I'm very, very inspired right now, but that, of course, is for the future, because right now I'm taking off my lab coat. Oh, and my hair.
And we're going to go home and put on

makeup

now using all the makeup. That's what I did for all these sisters. We return to the lab and I have here my little bag of homemade makeup products that I made today. I'm beyond excited to put them on. I had a lot of Fun. Learning and seeing the process behind the scenes, literally everything was great. So let's put on our makeup and talk about everything that started. Sorry, putting on makeup today. Of course, I like to go to my base. First, always, so I'm going to grab the no filter color pop foundation in the shade Me.
Well, I'm going to pray that this color somehow matches Fedil, too yellow. I literally had a whole team of professionals who do this every day to help me with this and I still managed to get My Pitch Wrong, right? upset? Yes surprised. Absolutely not. Probably my favorite part of the whole day today was actually the foundation process just because I defined chemistry as something very, very interesting and seeing what a foundation actually entails is really cool over the last three years. I've probably tried hundreds of foundations at this point, but I've only found a few that actually really worked for me and my skin, which is crazy because almost every major brand right now either has a foundation line or is working on one and It seems that all this is based, but did you see how to imagine the ingredients today and literally one wrong drop of pigmentation, color, liquid or ingredient?
And the whole batch would be completely wrong and could ruin the entire formulation, so it's really cool to see what goes into the first step of the makeup process to match all of our skin tones, although there are so many ingredients and processes that go into

making

it. making skin products Probably my favorite part of the entire day today. We'll see how easy it was to mix different pigments to create different shades, one of the biggest problems in Kennedy makeup. Whether you want to admit it or not It's racism and unfortunately that's not a topic I'm not familiar with, but although it was a nightmare at the time, to have my old tweets resurface and me being held responsible for them, oxy was probably one of the best things that have ever happened to me.
For you, it has really changed the person I am today for the better and it has made me realize that I have a platform where a lot of people watch me and of course they want to use that platform forever and I want to educate on their behalf. . topics that are really very important and tone range is definitely one of those topics. I feel like there have been a lot of foundation line launches over the last few years with shade ranges that can only be described as really embarrassing and one of the excuses that big brands always seem to give when it comes to that topic is: OMG, it's too much. harder to formulate the darker shades because we don't want to get the undertones wrong and as a consumer, someone who has never really been involved in doing that process, I'm definitely embarrassed to say that I've fallen into that.
But after seeing it behind the scenes, there's literally no excuse. There are four pigments. Add a little more black. Add a little more red. Add a little more yellow. Make it work. Saw here today friends. Apparently it's not that hard to be inclusive and I'll let you in on a little sister secret and of course I don't want to speak for anyone here but people of color would probably be very excited to see your tone. Represented range and is a win-win situation for a company when you are actually selling products. Just thought I'd post that. Alright, sorry, the base is done, I just put it in place and now let's move on to chiseling this.
Getting nice and ravishing. I'm going to grab my M405 brush and dive into the Custom Bronzer shade I made. So for the bronzer and blush, I actually found the whole pressing process to be really great. Clearly, it took me a bit to get everything together and not spill it on the floor, but you know what? It is the first time that accidents occur. In fact, I was very surprised because I didn't realize that all of these processes were done by hand. I really thought we were going to walk into the lab and there would be like 80 million conveyor belts and machines. pressing, packaging and mixing things, but almost each and every product I was a part of the process with today is handmade in the factory every day by hard-working employees.
I think it's great. So moving on to my eyebrows, today I did the brunette shade and I'm going to fill in my eyebrows as usual. Hmm. That's a good tea for eyebrows. I also love the process of making eyebrow pencils and let me tell you why it was obviously very different than all the chemistry, ingredients and formulations that were made in the other lab, but when I was a little kid, I used to being obsessed with mechanics and figuring out how things worked. My father was a self-employed contractor when I was growing up and one of the reasons he was very popular in my town for finding work was because he actually could do it. many of the jobs involved everything from design work to construction and building to plumbing and electrical, as if he truly was a jack of all trades, which definitely inspired my work ethic today.
I always loved working with Him because of the fact that I was able to sit there and find out how things were done and how they worked. I loved mechanics, pulleys and levers. I was obsessed with cables. I don't know how I never got electrocuted. I had a very, very strange obsession with vacuum cleaners. Don't ask because I literally have no idea, but I found that area very, very interesting. Then, see the machines and mechanisms that really set the tone. Pencils Together was great for me, I'm not even going to lie, even though there was a machine involved once again, although almost all done by hand.
There are no robots, real humans working at these stations producing up to, I think, 2,000 eyebrow pencils, they said, a day. Which I think is incredibly cool. So moving on to the next step, which of course is going to be my eyeshadow, I'm just going to throw it in and do a quick look using the color pop, give it to me straight, eyeshadow palette. I didn't formulate one of these in the labs today just because I'm already familiar with the process. So I just did this full cut fold for a moment. I haven't made one in a hot minute and now I really like how it's turning out.
But obviously I have a whole eyelid that I want to fill. So I'm going to take this super punchy shadow that I created today in the lab and place it there. I'm just going to place this shader right on the lid. Oh, wow, that's nice. And I'll quickly put on some winged eyeliner to finish the look. OMG, that eyeliner is eight inches thick. I'm very afraid of that wing. Oh my god, it's getting thicker and thicker. This is the worst eyeliner I have ever done in my entire makeup history. Oh my god, how did this happen?
Oh my god, if I take it off, it's going to get messier. Usually when a look doesn't go exactly as planned. I'll just put on one tab and it will solve all my problems. That won't happen today, but it's not the makeup's fault. It's mine. I don't know how I got to 9 million subscribers, but alas, I've already done my eye makeup and I'm ready to move on to the rest of my face. Next time of course my routine will be with my highlighter, I need to get my glow because I'm looking a little flat right now, I'm going to use my super punchy highlighter that I created with color pop today, and I'm so excited.
I was actually really excited to learn more about highlighter and what goes into making it just because I think it's the last step that we all know, love, and appreciate. I mean who doesn't love a good glow, but I was actually really curious to see what goes into the formulation of a highlighter just because I feel like there are so many ways a highlighter has to work at the same time. As I said in the lab, if the base color is not correct, then it can look gray or orange depending on the person's skin tone. But while doing so, when you turn it, it has to reflect the light and look shiny, there are different sizes of pearls.
You can have a small pearl for a subtle everyday on-the-go woman glow or you can have aintense and blinding shine. glitter which you all know I definitely love. I just think it's similar to foundation, when something goes wrong and it can literally change the entire formula and make it look so beautiful or so bad, it feels like a high-risk situation. I mean, it's literally just creating a highlighter, but it's so fun and fresh that the last step of my makeup routine today is going to be, of course, the lipedydodas and I'm going to use my custom glow in a second, but first I need to start outlining them.
So I'm going to use my all-time favorite lip liner. Which turns out to be a pop color and this one isn't mine. This is actually Kirby's tone in collaboration with Karen. I love SATA E, not mine. But I wish it was because this is literally the best lip liner color ever. And Karen is my all-time favorite person in the makeup community and last but not least. Right on top of that lip liner, I'm going to place my custom ultra glossy lip that I created today. I just wanted a perfect peachy nude that leaned more towards pink than orange.
And this is what I came up with. Well, I didn't really mean to make the lip and eyeshadow a perfect match today. But I'm going to pretend I did it because it looks really cool and cool. Let's finish with some sister setting spray, okay sisters, and that's my full face, that makeup that I completely did. I had a lot of fun getting my hands dirty and working behind the scenes today at colour-pop to really see what's really going on. Making a makeup product from start to finish, I mean, we can play with these products every day and we all use them to feel beautiful and confident.
But there's actually a lot of process that involves so many incredible workers, chemists, scientists, assembly line. The people and the eldest I thank them and Colour-pop for allowing me to educate myself and I hope you have learned a little too. I am very grateful to have been able to experience a whole behind-the-scenes process that I will continue. Definitely never forget it and who knows? Maybe one day I'll be a part of it.
