Making the Alphablocks Letter A with Super Clay

hey guys today we are going to try to make some

super

clay

alphablocks

and here we go we are going to start by

making

each alpha block its own special feature and it has a little bit of a plaster on its cheek so let's open this up and get started so you can use any

clay

or putty you like remember you can always use whatever i like using

super

play because it is very soft and stretchy it is very easy to shape and it also air dries although it does not air dry very very strong as well which i guess if you wanted to keep a small figure for a lot longer maybe you do something like girly because you can bake that and it gets really hard so now number block number block Alpha block is green but it has two shades of green , its a darker green and a lighter green so let me find the green and super light pack you get 12 colors not massive packs but ok its enough to make a couple of models so just I'm going to grab some foreign scissors, get a dollop of green, and then I'm going to divide the green into maybe half of this, so a little bit more dark green and a little bit of green.

I'm going to mix with white to make a lighter green so maybe this is it and then I'm going to take some white super clay. I think I have some that are already open actually weird together to make them light green a little bit more white weird now the number blocks kind of have a rectangular shape so if we do this and then flatten it out a little bit and then we have some of the lighter green I'm going to apply above as strips there's about two strips that I light so I remember with super clay as long as you keep it in a secure bag then it won't harden but if you leave it out it will harden and it won't you'll be able to use it again press that just knead like this sorry i got off center.

I'm going to press it like this and then I'm going to get another strip of the lighter green like this and do a little less like this thank you. and then you can smooth them out a bit you could even flatten them out so it looks smooth like this thank you i'll take some white let's make the eyes a number block number block here you say Number Block Alpha block a has beautiful eyes the shapes of almonds so we're going to do this now after this you can add the detail with black pieces of super clay or you can just use a black pen or marker to add the detail you can do that as well so they're sort of almond like this one and we've gone to glue them like this on the other side too weird color here is this is called flesh on the package it's more like a weird peach on the cheek like so and then we're going to put a little bit of black to finish off the details on the oops face I'm not using any glue for these or you can use some glue I guess but I think they're still squishy and I squish them into this they should stick nice but you can use some glue if you want these alpha blocks to be a little fun on the mouth like this alpha block has some freckles on it too but i think i could add that with a pen at the end it might be a bit easier oh with the rest green i'm going to do some arms and legs i think the arms and legs legs are almost the same in all the number blocks it's just two long arms and two feet yo look at the number blocks again i mean alpha blocks sorry guys i'm really tired today i'm a bit confused let's do the legs too, now we have to do the part on top of the head that has the

If you look at it, it's not quite white, you could really use white. I guess I think it's white with a hint of blue. It's like a very, very light blue color. left over yeah and mix this white with a little bit of blue to open my blue packet actually there you have it oh this light blue or dark blue i guess i can mix it with a light blue the light of the blue in the top has become a bit hard. which is still nice and smooth just a little dot like this yeah and then we're going to mix that into the

a and lower case a you can write it with a pen if you want you don't have to use the super clay if you have a hard time mold the shape ok ok you can see i can see i'm comparing the shape and the size needs to be wider it's more like this foreigner i'm just going to do a send now you can use if you have a small cutter with a letter cutter you could use an alpha because it would be really nice and neat or you could do like me and just make out the shape of an a.

I don't have a lower one. uppercase lowercase letter cutter so i'm going to do my thing so i think i'll take the end of that a little bit was a little shorter so i don't want to like it i said you can always use glue if you want but i don't think you need like super clay as long as it's nice and squishy. I'm just saying we are not sponsored by super clay.
