Make Print Then Cut T-Shirts with Your Cricut the RIGHT Way!
May 29, 2021It is not like this? It has been washed and is rough. This is a white shirt made with a custom transfer for darker colored
shirts
. It is vibrant and smooth. Big difference, right
? So my recommendation is to use only dark fabrics, even on whiteshirts
. You will be happier with the results and you also won't have to worry about duplication when you use this type of transfer. Much easier, really. Now, it is important that you follow the manufacturer's instructions for washing these ironable t-shirts. Check the instructions that come withyour
package. Generally it's like in the back, inside. For example, you may want to wait at least 24 hours before washing. Then when you wash it, be sure to turn it inside out and wash it with cold water. It is also important to run a full spin cycle so as not to leave the shirt soaked, as this will definitely affect the label. And if you ever iron
your
shirt, be sure to turn it inside out. Never iron it with the label facing down, as it willmake
a big mess. Overall, this project is really easy once you know what things to use and what to avoid. The link to the specific materials I used for this project, including transfers, t-shirts and everything, is below the video. cut for other things like decals, use self-adhesive paper like keyboard overlays and laptop decals, use self-adhesive vinyl like fake tattoos and temporary tattoos using special transfer paper.
