Large Traveling Open Cup - SECRET Ingredient you have NEVER used!
Jun 01, 2021alien welcome back to the channel in this video i'm going to make a floating
open
glass out of this piece of glass i cut out um i added asecret
ingredient
to the colors and i'm going to tell you what it's for because it's science i added this to my paintings in the past when I was doing balloon strength and it actually helped the colors really pop, it really helped with lassoing, it really helped with cell development and I'm really curious if it's going to work here. but I don't know, that's why we're going to meet you and me, we're going to do this, so the color palette that I'm using today Ihave
a purple, Ihave
a turquoise, I have a teal color and then a metallic white, all the colors have theingredient
i was talking about and then the base coat is just black nothing no silicone no nothing come on so i'm going to pour this on and you're coming along on this journey me again for science i'll say pretty excited because bloopers i'm already excited i have a level canvas so i hope you don't see me chasing the cup like i usually end up doing.I tried to pick some colors that would contrast pretty well together if you're still
open
to the outside with this type of Port I. you shouldn't have to raise the cup, just a small amount of black, the cup is moving so the surface is level or she's not found and she's determined to do what she wants pink technically she does what she wants it's still happening till now but sometimes it happens but it's so subtly because i can't see it so i'm going to use my trusty gun of heat to see if we can make something happen, okay, some things are happening, a very small cell is forming, but they arelarge
round cells. so hey there's a promise here maybe if I pour it on this side of the cup I'm going to force the cup the other way it didn't guys don't do that it didn't work I'll try again. it keeps going in the same direction even though i rotated it so it's not that it's not b ubble it's just that it wants to be difficult I think my cups open They just think it's a game y'all I think it's a fun little game they were floating what I'm going to do is tilt this trying to bring the cup back a little bit I know that's going to distort the cells a little bit creeping up onto the bare canvas so let's keep the silicone from ruining it Apply some black there just a little bit that's all we need ok we already have enough paint to clearly cover but I always like that you know to add a little bit more.I don't like to waste paints too much if I can help it, but I'm not going there either. just dump a whole ton of paint on the canvas just to use it and save it for something else if it comes to that. Master the weight and then we'll continue to do that little teeny. pop of black then we're going to rest a little bit around the edges here try to give it a little bit of paint to make it slide on so it doesn't roll under so just like I normally do I'm going to hit it with a torch hopefully something will happen with that oh yeah foreigner that's cute guys that's oh my gosh they just keep coming.
When I make this cup, I usually don't like to put it down. Some people like the look of that big round center, but I really don't. I don't like it at all, so I'll drop what's left. Slide it to the edge. you know, create a nice little bang. I'm going to hit that section with the heat gun. Activate the silicone. lots of tiny cells within cells it's like a hoax cells within cells within cells i love love it so we've gotten to that point right now where we're going to spin this all these cells are going to expand and then we're going a Hit it with a torch again and it creates even more cells so I'm trying to maybe g and some of that because I really like how this looks here when I try to rotate it slowly so I don't distort the cells too much.
I will need further. You have the black slide and I don't. I want to have to. I don't want to spin this stand. All the cells are going to start looking very weird. I prefer them to keep their nice round look. Oh my gosh, one corner here that isn't completely covered instead of turning it over again will hit a little bit and as the paint keeps dripping, that part that doesn't match the rest will run off. These colors are crazy wow that looks crazy so I'm going to hit it with the torch again. and you'll see even more little tiny cells open up you can already see a lot going on at this end here let me spin it for you get all these tiny cells within cells they're just beautiful glorious weird colors love this really don't I don't know how these colors would look together these colors The ors are amazing together oh my gosh it's ok if you've been with me up to this point I know thank you first of all thank you so much I can't express how much gratitude I have for you um, just the growth of this channel here. recently with all the new subscribers and i like the old subscribers who are just my ride or die you all always compliment me and give me great feedback on things.
I can't say enough how grateful I am for all of that so I'm going to show you what I added to the paints and I really think I mean the results can't speak for themselves. I added that and that's not something you'd normally think of adding to a pour-on medium, but in the past when I could. If I can't get my flowers to work well with Shelly's art technique, I'd add a drop or two of that to my paint. guys I'm going to give you a good close up of this being because the cells that are here right now are just oh it's crazy so I brought you the little microcells inside These colors are crazy.
I am so excited that i will definitely be adding that minwax two wood conditioner. more of my color combinations because it looked like a different type of cell. I had
never
seen the camera. I havenever
seen such a small me that looks amazing. If you want to see another video like this, click on the screen right now. and i will see you thereIf you have any copyright issue, please Contact
