KITCHEN + PANTRY ORGANIZATION **SURPRISE MAKEOVER**

has never been organized. In fact I'm going to

surprise

them with this because I just heard them say here and they're like I can't find anything, everything is everywhere. I don't even know what's in these closets. Those kinds of things, so I feel like they deserve the

surprise

. I want them to have a clean and organized space and I believe I can. do that for them so the space is very, very disorganized. I have a lot to do.

It's a fairly large kitchen with lots of cupboard and drawer space, which is good because I have room to store everything, but there's a lot to cover. So I'm going to go through each of the covered drawers organizing everything. I stopped at the dollar store and bought a lot of baskets, containers, jars, that kind of thing so everything can be clean, organized and have its own place. I've been doing a lot of organizing projects on this channel. You guys seem to love it, it's giving you that inspiration to clean your own homes and I think it's amazing.

Okay, the first area of ​​this kitchen that I'm going to work on is the

pantry

area, this is pretty much where we keep all the cans of dry food, boxes of sweet cereal, we literally keep everything in here, so I'm going to show you how big it is. this area has been our largest storage area so I really want to clean it out this will be super easy and we'll pretty much just put everything into basket categories and then label them but yeah hopefully we can dedicate each shelf to something for my mom and my dad know where everything is in his kitchen, which makes it really simple and easy first thing.

What I have to do is clean the entire closet. I'm going to put everything on the floor so I can see what we're working with and be able to find some trash that doesn't need to be thrown away even if we go ahead and clean up. This is fine, we're all clean, it looks better until you turn this way, there's too much food like this, it's crazy, so you have to take everything out of your cupboards first to get the shock value, so you're like what am I doing besides so you can see every single thing that you have, then we can clean our shelves, clean our baskets and then put everything back in order, so I have all these clean baskets ready to go, they are all different sizes . so the next thing I'm going to do is try to figure out where in the closet I want them to go.

You have to make sure it makes sense where you are going to place them so that these lower profile containers will do well in a higher location. height so you can see what's inside the container. I'm going to put them at a lower height because from above you can see exactly what's inside, it looks cleaner because the walls are higher but they're at a lower height so you can grab things easily and then down below I have these two shelves, so they are great for cans, they are very easy to access from this point and if you have taller shelves like this and more space between each one, these are useful because you can fill the entire space, so for now I have all my containers placed where they fit best.

I have these two shelves down here and then I still have an empty top and bottom shelf, so that's where I'm going to put additional appliances. and things that we don't really need to touch every day, so now I'm going to start sorting through all this food and finding it a better home in its basket and I have all the dry food and cans off the floor. I kept all this Tupperware and I'm going to put it pretty high up and I think we all know the struggle of Tupperware falling out of cupboards and landing on the floor and being such a messy mess so I'm I'm going to try to put it up. all the extra tops and bottoms here so everything is organized.

You can take the whole basket off the shelf and it won't come flying at you, so that's just a little trick: putting all your Tupperware in a container that keeps it safe, so you can take the whole container out and look in your Tupperware, so I'm making some progress. This entire closet is completely finished. Now I have to move on to this one, so I'm going to show you that next, but I just want to show you how much crap I was able to get out of that deck. Getting rid of your packaging and putting it in bins or bins really helps, as does reducing trash space. kind of things you can recycle all those things.

Many of us have a bunch of empty boxes in our closets because we don't realize we could have used the last granola bar or whatever, so get rid of your boxes like me. I'm doing here and putting them in containers really helps because by the way the lighting will completely change because I started this in the afternoon and I'm afraid it's going to get dark so this is a big project but you have to finish it. the same day you started, that's the only way to get through this, even if you're tired and hungry, you have to keep going because if you leave this for the next day, you'll never finish, but this is the next closet.

I'm going to designate this closet as the kids' closet, so my nephew and niece come over and eat cereal, they have little plastic bowls and stuff, so I'm going to designate this whole space as the kids' area, so I'm going to organize it properly and So this down here isn't so bad. This is where we keep our plastic, like wine glasses and things for entertaining. We have some plastic bags down here and some cleaning supplies, so I'm going to go through that and clean everything up. but this is where we can be a little more creative and prepare the entire children's area.

The first thing I'm going to do for the covered kids is put the cereal in these cereal containers. These are really cool, all top tin. It opens like this so you can grab whatever you want or it has the option to open like this so that when you have the lid on you can grab the small part and pour the cereal in so you can know how much cereal you need. left you can combine the cereal boxes to make a complete container and just get rid of the scraps that you have in your

pantry

, so you put the leftover Cheerios in one container and then the granola in the other and then I'm I'm going to try to organize all the little plastic cups and bowls in a clear container so again you can slide it off the shelf and grab what you need, so now that it's like this, anyone who walks into the cupboard can see that we're running out. at Cheerios maybe we should go buy more, that's why I love these clear containers, you can tell exactly how much you have of everything, so this might be the hard part, trying to organize all these cups and bowls for kids, but I'm going to try putting as much as I can into this plastic container just to keep things clean and tidy, so I'll start trying to come up with a system if that fits these.

Okay guys, I'm really excited now once I get started with this and see the results. I'm like wow, I'm going to expand this whole project, so now I'm going to change my efforts like this and this cabinet is a mess, but I'm excited to do this one because it's all the baking supplies, so I'll show you what we're with. dealing here oh also this mess so I have to figure all this out this is like the coffee area delivery area we need to turn it into. a better space, but oh, this is the chaotic deck, there's so much going on there there's no

, it's the carb closet, that's what we'll call it, but it clearly needs a lot of help, there are so many bags in there since then.

I really don't know exactly what's in here and I definitely have to clean this up, cover it because there's probably flour all over the bottom. I'm going to take everything out of the closet, put everything away, and then put these things in. cool containers so I'm excited to show you what I'm using for this section because these are some fun containers so if I'm going to be honest this is really scary and stressful when you see everything you're like how am I doing? I'm going to figure this out, but I just cleaned out all my containers and it's time to put everything back away since this cupboard is full of flour, sugar, brown sugar, quinoa, nuts, seeds, all that kind of stuff.

I'm going to use these really cute containers that I found at the dollar store, they're really cool because you can stack them if you have the height in your cabinet, but I really love it because it opens up like this and it comes with this little scoop, so I think it's great for flour, sugar, protein powder, all those things that are dusty and messy make you feel like you're in the supermarket picking up all the ingredients, so I really like this and then I thought since we keep our bread here, We always have several loaves that are half eaten and they look so messy when you leave everything like that, so I thought we could put them in small baskets and they can be a small bread basket so it's easy to get, put all the bread in here that you can take out. it goes in and out of the closet and it's easy to access like everything I'm mentioning here and then these really cute containers are called double leg lock containers or something like that, but they stack and lock and just become a tower like this I thought they were great for little seeds, then it turned out they were chocolate chips with nuts and that kind of thing and I bought another set of these.

I like that they seal, so they are great for food and yes, they are very pretty to store. so I really like to use the full set which was $2 so I thought that was a really good deal from the dollar store and again I'm going to use these clear containers because they fit really well in these cabinets so they're really great. size and height and they just keep everything contained so I just cleaned this corner here which I love it looks so much better especially because it's okay sorry I haven't cleaned it yet especially when you walk into the kitchen you just see this wall . so I hid all the appliances along this side here, so I put this plug in there so I could have all the things plugged into that outlet, so using one of these, what are they called an adapter or something?

I don't remember what it's called, but Anyway, using that really helps so this looks a lot better now I have to move down here. This is the daunting task of these crazy drawers, so I think I'm going to start with these drawers because they are very doable. I can do this quickly. This is clearly a mess, there's no organization, but I'm planning on using these long bins to put inside these drawers so I can organize things by type and I'm just going to decimate them super simply and then we'll do it. that in a second this closet will probably be my least favorite covered closet.

I hate covered pots and pans, it makes a lot of noise every time someone opens the door trying to get something out of there, so I will try to organize it as best as possible. I can, I don't really have any kind of organizer, so I'll try to stack and put all the pans together, all the pots and try to make things easier to find. Okay, guys, it'll be a few hours later, maybe more than a few. but I'm finally done, everything is clean and organized, but the last step is to label my little containers and baskets, so I don't have a label maker, but I'm just going to use these labels and then I'm going to use a marker and just write whatever. the label should feel like it makes a big difference in the end result and I will call my parents to see the new kitchen.

Do you remember what the old kitchen was like? Can I forget it? They are ready? We are ready. they're excited 1 2 3 whoa yeah I got rid of all the packaging so I just took it all out well well I couldn't find it. It's amazing, doesn't it feel like a grocery and soup store? It's great, perfect size. Look. Yes, yes, doesn't it make a lot more sense? I really like this, you know, look and you'll see, oh, we need more soup, yeah, who is this tree? It's not exactly empty exactly. Can you believe this is your house? No no?

I can't get out of there. I know. Look, the kids have their own little party like this. He has all his stuff there, so you can take it all out when they come. Oh, that's great. It's more or less the same. I just lined it. overall, I really like it, I like it and I like the cereal, yeah, so look, you can tell we're out of Cheerios, I gotta go get me, yeah, and I really like this, this is going to be a big difference because that one was pretty bad. They are kind of the same, just neater I guess so, wait, how did you do it? medium large and then down there I just stack them thank you corner are you kidding you did this get rid of the stuff there do you know what was there and there's my thing with the liquor Wow so I can see the spices I have yeah , and look at all the jars. I know you have many jars.

Wow, I can't believe it and then I do a little thing up there, really, oh, that's where I'm next. Oh God, and much cleaner, yes, so I clean everything, all the old onion remains up there. Now I can see how many potatoes I have. Yeah, well, that's much better. work sound work oh my god yes I'm your pull out drawer I can't imagine this isn't it's not very different yes it is yes it is I don't do too many things there's a lot of things you got rid of all this here yeah wow that's amazing yeah , wow, I really like this stuff, I know it's been good, all of these, all of these.
