Skylar is very passionate about design and as a businesswoman, entrepreneur and mother, it is very important to me to work to empower the dreams of young designers and young women around the world. her my designs and I'm really excited to see what she says about it. Here is one of my designs, this one is like an off the shoulder

dress

with a wrap style skirt. This one is like a floral sleeve with a cuff. - That's very nice, I'll have to use it. (Skylar laughs) Her designs and sketches of her are exciting, vibrant and fun and show a little bit of her personality. - This is one, I actually drew it last night. I was a little nervous to see what they had to say, but you have to have a thick skin, even when they say they won't use your designs. (up-tempo music) - Well, I see a lot of things here that I feel like we should work on.

I definitely think we should take it to the design team and then we can work out some of these things. All the sketches are really great, but the red one stands out a lot to me because you can

it up or down, you can pair it with a jacket, so we can absolutely help her create that top and those pants. This is the team, this is Cesar, Megan and Karen, this is my little Skylar. - When I came in today, I didn't think that we would really be able to make a set, and I think it will be just amazing. - So you imagine this about that, does this help? - Yes I like that. - Boom, we're leaving, we're leaving.

So this is where it all begins. - Before this, I really just had myself working on all my outfits. - So start with your sketch, and now that you've chosen a fabric, we'll create a pattern, and then we'll work it out and check measurements and things along the way. - And then start putting it together.
