Kennedy reflects on Plymouth victory

I would like to listen together. I think you could probably fly home today, right? I love the performance, certainly away from home for your team this season, that first goal is the goal of the season. I thought it was an outstanding counter attack. um for multiple reasons to come and take for Carl to pitch last early last he really has shoulders many times this year he could be a really good wing back he has outstanding athleticism and once he stretched it out then um his path to Danny was was the first class that Danny brought to class and the noon finale was obviously great but it looks so much simpler and easier sorry it looks so much easier and black and white just the way it is but trust me it takes a lot of work and Scott Freud gets a lot of credit for the goal because we walk hard in those things and he owns those situations, so a big team goal and a big credit to the coaching staff also didn't hurt you, but why?

Why was Regan's goal disallowed? Somehow trying to figure out if it was me they look offside I'm really shaking my head at some it's very hard to see certain things happen week after week and I was very quiet for the first 15 games and knots. but there comes a point where you think you're taking the you know what now and they told me the day was I think they said I was offside I don't think not and then they said I was impeding the goalie and it definitely wasn't the goalie no i was saving the ball the jackpot was too high that was ridiculous and uh and i see goals like that every week i've seen cambridge can see the goal a few weeks ago exactly the same in fact a lot less than that and it happened there was no problem um just really frustrating i thought the ref really liked the ref i thought he made a great game today but things like that make me so angry and i've seen it too many times this year it could have affected your team but they came out in the second half and if you were the Plymouth manager you were upset by the amount of time he spent that bed home but you must be delighted with this 12 goal finish this season eh yeah he has been outstanding.

I can't comment on what Stephen thinks. uh, I thought Harry did very well walking with her on the left. to say a big credit to Ben, I give him a lot of applause for his qualities in and out of possession, but you know he actually wanted to go out at half time, he was really struggling with fitness and illness and he said look no no I want to let them down, I want to go. I said give me 15 minutes and then he goes and scores his goal so a lot of people don't see it and even me as head coach.

I had no idea there was something. bad with him because of his performance so I'm really happy for him he's a top notch striker and you know how you feel about luke land he's just waiting and waiting and waiting and he was great when he came in but when ben plays like that all the weeks you have to understand why he starts, why he plays and after I thought Luke did a great job for the team when he came in and it wasn't like they were his only chances I mean you had a lot of chances today yeah look, I want to be careful. what i say i wanna go up we beat

two nil we scored two goals we had a clean sheet i thought we totally deserved it i would hate to come in and say we should have won by more and it should have been a b and c but probably the only aspect disappointing of our game today was a finish because we got into some really good times we just went clinical on the final run a lot of your player stats will be off the charts. but your right wing stats are ridiculous today yes outstanding athlete amazing pro he's just a gentleman he's a lovely lovely man he has a huge amount of respect for the latter he's very popular in the group and on top of that. he is a very good player um I don't know who to give credit to it was us I don't remember what we played a few weeks ago it wasn't me it was one of the staff said about playing the last swing back so I think he could be a very, very good winger because of his elasticity and you'll see when he stretches the field for the first goal, he must have, I'm going to say it 10 times today, which is a huge number and it's been going from strength to strength really please he deserves it he deserves it real control of his team today his midfield in terms of numbers is outclassed but he didn't notice it and now we have walked very hard on something specific in midfield he spent a lot of time in it in the last few weeks and i keep saying roma wasn't building one day but i thought it showed itself today i thought it showed itself against cheltenham um so we'll continue to do that and sometimes it comes out sometimes it doesn't but it's the understanding i've known what you're trying to do and then execute and we said to the group at half time look what happens if they score a second goal keep up the process if you can see the goal stick to the process if it's a late goal stick to the process and I thought we did very well today and so the 50 52 at the point level with last season with games to come uh yeah look I don't care about last season none of my business I wasn't here what happened happened they called me meaner in different we just focused in ourselves what we're trying to do what we're trying to achieve I keep saying stick to the process understand what it looks like how we execute it and, um, and hopefully build on that 380.

I think we're here today to provide incredible support um, I keep saying it's kind of embarrassing when you keep asking because I don't want to be. creepy head coach but he's just phenomenal and you can see the connection I keep saying you see the connection to the players and the fans and I want to say a big thank you not just to me but to all the players and all the staff it doesn't go unnoticed um I think the guy The Lads as very, very respectful to the fans and what they have given us this year and although we can't tell you I am saying this on behalf of the players thank you very much at home and away it has been phenomenal and I can honestly say a lot of the great results we've had this year that we wouldn't have had without the foreign foreign fans
