place i have right now so oh oh this is the second nicely decorated male elephant pc it also has the lights on its head and also there is always someone lighting the food elephant is also dancing so the views are amazing from where we sit but the worst thing is that they make the fire here they are burning the coconuts and I have all s the ashes on my shirt and i have a white shirt and they are going to stink so bad we have to shower with dad so they were born in sri lanka but they are in los angeles in california right now and we have two elephants here side by side , so like i said the views are amazing we C see everything so clearly but the only problem is this fireplace next to us and the way they are dressed is just beautiful you can see the lights in their heads you can see the beautiful threads on the back and then the gentlemen are holding something so actually there are three elephants standing next to each other and the middle one has a tooth on top it's only a meter away two meters away we have an elephant next to us oh oh okay what do you think is here? i dont know which one was first oh so good now so so ah so so hello um so hello kind then ah so yeah so so so foreigner so so oh so so good getting out of the lake finally i am back in my hotel the room the show was amazing the festival was amazing all the colors and all the dancing you can see how much logistics went into making this happen and it's not happening just once uh uh once like only once in a week or so it's like two weeks in a row and these People are strong enough to keep doing it every day so the show and the festival in general has been amazing but I have three points I don't want to judge anything I just want to give my opinion what I think about the show in general firstly my location where i said it was amazing like i could see everything clearly there were no barriers in front of me nothing blocking my view i think i got very good shots for the video too but there was an i It caught fire right in front of us so the smoke is in my lungs in my hat and then there's ashes on my shirt so right away I'm going to shower that's the only thing I didn't like basically where I put myself so that it was the first thing the second thing I really didn't like the idea of ​​having elephants there obviously I think this is a religious thing also a very cultural thing I'm not an animal rights activist or anything like that but I just felt like maybe, um , it could be done, I think, without the elephants.

I think it's very connected to the religion itself, but I didn't feel like the dances that the elephants actually did felt a bit contrived and I'm not sure how much work and things need to happen or as they are. handling those elephants actually was the only thing i didn't like basically the use of animals in the show but the show overall was amazing and especially the elephants are scared of fire and there was a fire all over the place and then something else was um, I was curious as to why there isn't a woman, so the first two hours of the show there weren't any women for the whole festival for the whole parade, but then at the end they showed up for the last 30 35 minutes and it was amazing to see them all. them and their energy and they kept the smile the whole time on their faces and they were dancing beautifully dressed beautifully and traditionally too and uh one last thing uh i have probably wondered about you guys if you are sri lankan audience then i want to know why there's no like, uh, exaggeration, they know the audience, they never applaud, they never cheer on the dancers, um, it could be connected to religion again, but it had a lot of c Curiosity because they were doing an amazing job and when the dance was over maybe some applause would be super cool but I think that was the kind of thing that was missing from the whole festival for me I felt like they deserved it they put in so much Effort uh , probably a lot of training too and they were doing an amazing job with the dances and everything so I thought maybe giving them a bit of a breakdown would cheer them up a bit and they would be strong to keep going for the rest of the show anyways overall amazing experience i highly recommend if you are here during august in sri lanka you should definitely go watch it and yes that is the end of the video thank you so much for watching and i need to run to the bathroom and take a shower because ashes are literally everywhere and all my clothes need to be washed thank you very much guys see you next time bye for now
