last
, what advice would you give to people who want it to last?First of all, choose the right person to marry and then, uh, give each other enough space, let the other person you meet have a full life in the way you choose and help when you can share a lot of things and do things together, always we look to do things to find things that we can do together, like fly fishing and bird watching and, um, just going out to the pond and, uh, every night. were finishing prayers and thoughts. from the other, I just loved that we were talking about theirrelationship
and a few weeks later a letter arrived in the mail and it was a bit of kindness. A week or so after that interview, I shouldn't have been surprised that Mrs. Carter was able to find me. so easily, of course, he had the US secret service at his disposal, but he still had it, it was a handwritten thank you letter, a little old school charm and blue ink, a little class , a legacy from Rosalyn Carter's desk, wow, a little treasure and a piece of history in your hand, Steve, thank you so much for joining us tonight, we appreciate it.Hello everyone, George Stephanopoulos, thank you for visiting the ABC News YouTube channel for more video highlights from the show and to watch live event coverage.
