May 31, 2021
Hey guys, welcome back to another video and today I'm going to

review

the

jabra

lee 85 t and also compare it to the

jabra

elite

65 t. Now let's get into it, so this is boxing for jabra.

elite

855ts and we will remove these stickers if we take them apart, that is a nice slide, now if we remove that sticker it opens like a nice book, I like it, it feels like the quality of an apple and there we have it, we have the instructions for elite here with the bluetooth setup and then we have our jabra elites, we take them out, so the case already looks quite similar to the 65t and the 75t, remove this sticker and if that is really good, much better than the 65 Is that I also have a magnet, so it clips on, it's like Apple's Airpods and then we have the headphones.

Well look at these now, the shape is a little strange compared to my others, but I like the front and the side. I'm just not used to this kind of thing, I guess maybe it's more ergonomic for the ear. It is a little more oval in shape than round. The others are rounded and you have the blue Bluetooth signal ringing here. and the click buttons on the case, we have metal pins to charge the device, it feels good inside and it can also be charged via Qi, so that's what it is and we have our port on the back to charge it with a USB Cable.

More Interesting Facts About,

I really like feeling oh, they also stick magnetically which is nice. I'll just show you that they just snap together on their own, which is good overall. I really like the design of this one, super sweet and then it comes with your extra pieces. so you have extra headphones and an extra cable or a USB C charging cable to connect it to the oh it's a perfect USB charger even better so there's that and then just your safety guarantee in the box and that's it for the unpacking. you have the cable and the headphones and that's the

so this is side by side the 65t and then the 85t you can automatically see the 65t just sits like this and then these sit very okay and then when you open them it opens these pops, it opens super slippery, super smooth and then magnetically sealed, you also have to push in and then pull out, it's a little more complicated, it still works, but you know it's a little more work and then we have the headphones themselves. of them open, so I'm going to show you a butter of the 65, so this is the 65 copper and then we have the 85, the size comparison here.

The 8, the 65 are clearly bigger and the 685, you know, don't have as much. that mic port here is a nice change and then we rotate them and it's a big difference here as we have this really straight, weird design, like the oval design pins are a little bit further away. I like the design here with the ov with the Circular Earpiece I don't really like this oval design, it doesn't fit my ear well and this one is a little thicker too. I don't know why it's so great in that sense, probably because of the new improvements in bass.

I prefer this one to put in my ears but I like how small they look anyway and then this one snaps back in magnetically like this and then this one you just push in with no magnetic seal and it recognizes it and you clip it out. back this one has a micro usb while this one also has the 85 it has the usbc which is fast charging and the 65t doesn't support qi charging so I've had my jabra elite 65ts for about two years and I really love the sound , I love the bass and I love the design, everything about them just works for me and they fit perfectly in my ear, so when I saw there was an 85t, I got really excited and thought, yeah, let's try them.
The only thing I really don't like about these 85 ts is this new oval shaped earphone, personally for me they just don't fit well, they don't fall out of my ears, but you know, if I was going to run intensely, it would be a bit cautious because they might fall over and considering they weigh 220 pounds, I'd be a little worried about damaging them; However, the 85 t have an excellent sound, we have a more open sound and the bass is immediately noticeable. I listen to 65t and then 85t immediately after at the same volume and I could definitely tell the difference so in terms of sound quality you are definitely upgrading so have been comparing the jabra 85t. to the airpods pros and to be honest I've listened to both and I'd say they're pretty much on par and you get more flexibility with the 85t so if you don't want to use them with Apple products then you know you can easily do that If you have the airpod pros, you are locked into the ecosystem.
I also noticed that the 85t only comes in one color right now, whether that's something new and obviously if you want it. to get 65t you have a range of colors because you also have the sport collection which has red, blue and then you have the standard colors which are copper, silver, black and gray on the 85t. I found that the noise cancellation feature in the app worked pretty well if you are buying these headphones for noise cancellation then you might want to check out the elite 75 t because Jabra just released a firmware update that gives you noise cancellation noise in the app, but in a way it doesn't.
It really makes sense to bring out this new product and then offer the old products, as one of the key features of this new product. Jabra describes the elite 85 ts as semi-open earbuds, meaning you don't need to jam the tips all the time. in your ear canal instead of the new more oval shaped tips conforming to your ear for a more comfortable fit according to Jabra anyway, obviously in my case they fell out of my ear so it reminded me of when Apple came out with their new ones. airpods or the new shaped earbuds and they had that weird hard plastic like shape that reminds me of that and they didn't fit in my ear either so if you had problems with them these might not be the right one for you so obviously if you like it.
Wireless charging, so the 85 ts is a big win here because they have QR charging and their USB C charger and you're stuck with a micro USB charger on the Jabra Elite 65 so that's a nice addition, the 85 TS has bigger drivers 12 millimeters. for improved sound and six microphone technology three in each ear two on the outside one on the inside this gives you improved voice calls with better noise reduction I used them the last day and found them to be as good as the 65 t No It's a big step forward, but it's noticeable, it just depends on whether you want to spend that extra price, so it depends on what kind of budget you're considering.
The 85 ts have ipx4 water resistance which is actually a step down from the 75 ts meaning they are splash proof and sweat proof so the battery is supposed to work noise canceling at the five and a half hours and I went back and forth about it, which is pretty decent, my 65t did exactly the same, however they don't have the noise canceling feature, however they do have the listen through sound mode, which is where you can hear your busy surroundings because the microphone picks up your surroundings and plays it subtly in the background. You can switch between these modes in Jabra.
Sound Plus app, which is quite interesting, so you can

, you can change the treble, you can change the sound profile to have more bass tailored more to your sounds and you can change it yourself and then obviously you can activate listening. direct mode and noise cancellation mode, however I use it, I usually rely on having it on neither and then altering my base settings a bit. Now the 85t are great, thanks to the new drivers you get a little more bass and a fuller sound. Additionally, the semi-open design allows for a more open sound with a larger soundstage.
In my opinion, it's not a big difference. If you get a tight seal with the 65t, you get a wide base. I've now started to grow up to the lovely 85t, but in my case I won't be able to continue using them just because of the oval shaped tips, so I'll go back to my 65t and maybe even upgrade to the 75t in terms of bluetooth connectivity . The 85t connected instantly to My iPhone had no problem and then pairing it with the app was just as easy. It also has multipoint Bluetooth pairing that allows you to connect with two devices simultaneously, for example, your phone and your computer, and exchange audio between them.
So if a call comes in on your phone while you're listening to someone on your computer, you can answer the call and the audio will change. Overall, both are great headphones, whether you choose the 65t, 75t, or 85. You won't be disappointed with the sound quality or bass. They never failed to impress me and Jabra's customer service is truly perfect. I had a mistake with my last 65t and they replaced the new ones for free, there are some benefits with Jabra, they seem to be a great company so it depends on who you want to spend around £120 to £130 to £220 if you are looking to buy something that is more in the premium range of like Apple's airpod pros then I would definitely try to consider the 85t and if that doesn't work for you then go down to the 75t overall.
The jabra elite 85 ts are a great buy, they have excellent bass sound, the only drawback for me. it's the headphones but other than that if you're looking to upgrade they're worth it anyway guys I hope you enjoyed the video and I hope I've helped you decide which pair of headphones you'd rather go for if you enjoyed. video give us a like and subscribe and see you in the next one, peace
