Jabra Elite 75t vs Jabra Elite Active 65t | Which is the better Jabra?

We are looking at the Elite Active 65 T, the old guard of the company and the new kid on the block, the Elite 75 T and Before we get into it, let me give you a preview, the biggest difference here is the size and sound, and before you even open the case you can see that this case is much smaller, it may look a little subtle from afar but it is big. difference in your pocket and apart from that there is another thing we really like about the new design and that is a flat bottom for the 75 T as you can see for some reason the Elite Act 65 T and the Leat 65 T before that had a box. that's not exactly what you want from your case it works well in your pocket but you can't stand it so that's a nice improvement it's good to see they are learning another interesting improvement right here is the

than Apple so that's another big update looking closer another big design change is just the size of the earbuds the 65t just seem to honk compared to the 75t they used to look small but things move so fast and they are true wireless earbuds that were last year this one is this year and just look that size difference, you can feel the weight in your fingers, you can feel the weight in your ears and it's much more comfortable to put these things in now before we continue with one more thing about the case here, you can see that I had the previous case. the micro USB input the new case has USB C so it's great for anyone who has an Android phone or anyone who has a USBC cable lying around, you probably don't carry around a micro USB anymore but it doesn't really affect charging .

As much as you think, both cases fast charge the earbuds in about 15 minutes, you get an hour of sound, it's about 10-20 for the old case, it's supposed to be about 15 for the new case, it's not that good now, Before we continue, let's talk. about the battery very quickly because the 75 t also increases the battery life although it becomes smaller, the

means a lot more battery to carry with you and, although a couple of hours may not seem like much, you will really notice, you will just charge the headphones less. especially on heavy usage days, so it's a really good upgrade and thanks to the more efficient Bluetooth chips, you can get more out of the earbuds even though they are smaller.

The controls are also quite similar. You have single button control on the 65t. and then this kind of double button control here,

which

is a little hard to press with your finger, but it works because you get volume control there, instead the new 75 T only has two buttons and you can get volume control by holding down the buttons. You can also do things like this, listen through the technology with the button on the side, call your voice assistant and all the things you expect, play, pause and skip, they both do it well and I really like that sometimes have physical buttons here. those touch pads work well, sometimes they don't work so well.

The other good thing about these buttons is that they are very easy to press, so you are not jamming the headphones in your ear, a big design change from other headphones that were more difficult. buttons and I think the buttons are even a little easier to use with a 75; one thing you won't get from the 75t that the elite active has is any kind of sensors to track your workouts, so if you're looking to work out but specifically you'll want to go back to the 65t in that case, but otherwise They are pretty similar when it comes to wearing them to the gym.

Both are very water resistant. This is an IP 55. An IP 56, if you're wondering what that means, technically it means that you can shoot a powerful stream at these headphones and a less powerful stream at these headphones. I'm guessing you probably won't be shooting jets or headphones, so neither will work. so it works well and you will be able to sweat well with these. I think really the difference in improvement you will feel again comes down to size and fit, the 75t is just one of the best fits you can get. Now, thanks to their really small design, they fit in almost any ear.

Now both earphones have some microphones on the outside. The Elite Active has been updated a bit, but the microphones let you hear outside sound and you can control it. the app or you can activate it on the headphones themselves, but that also allows them to block out external noises when you make calls and we really enjoyed the call quality with the 75 T, although I never had a problem with the 65. T is a little better and with the 75 T you can hear your own voice; There's an option for that in the app, so it's nice if you want to be able to hear your voice on calls, but they both actually work pretty well. with calls, one feature neither has, however, is noise cancellation.

Now we don't really expect that at this price level, around a hundred and eighty dollars, but we didn't expect that, I guess I should say, until Amazon's Echo Buds arrived. For a hundred and thirty dollars, it's not great noise cancellation, but luckily these have really good passive noise isolation anyway and, again, the fit helps with that, so you won't hear much outside around you, really. noise cancellation should not be a big problem unless you take them on a plane. As far as this sound goes, I still really like the Elite Active Six-Five T. It's one of my favorite sounding true wireless earbuds, especially for its price with the elite 75 T it's a whole new ball game and if you're Looking for that powerful, booming bass, these definitely have it now.

It's the same controller configured here, but we actually reached out to Jabra to see what was going on there, it was a lot. More powerful. In fact, I was surprised from the beginning, as soon as I heard these headphones, Jabra said yes, it added more bass, some compression to let more bass through, it was something that listeners like you were asking for, well, you asked for it. You got it for me, it's not an improvement, it's actually a step backwards. I still like the Elite Active 65 T for the overall sound quality. The nice thing is, again, you can go into the app, you can turn down the bass, but even when you do that, the bass is still there. quite loud and in fact they are even bigger and more powerful bass than the power beats Pro.

I actually found the bass to be quite soft compared to the 75 T, not what you expect from such a small pair of headphones, but that's what you get. I think part of it also has to do with the fit, again, they fit so snuggly in your ears that there's nowhere for that base to run, so it gets really boomy really quickly, if that's what you're looking for. , the 75 T will be your choice. Personally, I really love the tuning of the 75 T, but the sound of the 65 T Elite Act is more balanced, more neutral, and it's easier to control with the EQ 75 T, it's hard to master, but if you're looking for that big bass, These are going to be a great pair for you, they fit great, look good and sound big and powerful.
