More Interesting Facts About,

iphone 11 secret features what apple didn t tell you...

Apple began phasing out its 3D Touch feature last year, starting with the debut of the iPhone 10r. in 2015 on the iPhone 6s and allowed you to access menu options and additional commands by firmly pressing your finger against the screen. Now, however, this feature is gone from all three iPhone 11 models, so instead of 3D Touch, Apple has now replaced that feature with something. Called haptic touch, haptic touch works relatively the same except instead of having to press harder on the screen, all you need to do is long press on an item, it's now just as awesome as 3D touch was and it makes me very sad to see it disappear.

A major silver lining when it comes to its removal, if you remember, last year the iPhone 10r was the iPhone with the longest battery life ever released. What was different about the iPhone 10r, it was the first iPhone since the iPhone 6s that did not include 3D Touch. 3d touch was an extra layer on the panel that took up space on the phone. The removal of 3d touch allowed for a larger battery this year. However, the successor to the iPhone 10r, which is the iPhone 11, gained an additional hour of battery life over the 10r. This year it's the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro that see significant improvements in battery life, four hours longer on the iPhone 11 Pro compared to the 10s and 5 hours longer on the 11 Pro Max compared to the 10s max from last year, why is it so big?

Improvements in the battery, one of the main reasons is the fact that now the iPhone 11 Pro has also eliminated 3D Touch, so in this 11 Pro Max if you had to choose between having 3D Touch or having an additional five hours of battery life of the battery compared to last year. Next, 3D retouching, let's talk about the fact that these phones are heavier than last year's models. In this case, I am not referring to the iPhone 11, which weighs the same as the iPhone 10r, but to the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max. They are actually heavier than their 2018 counterparts, the 10s and 10s Max respectively, the iPhone 11 Pro weighs 11 grams more than the 10s, while the iPhone 11 Pro Max weighs 18 grams more than the Tennis Max and, Although you may not notice this in real life, these phones definitely feel substantially heavier, especially if you put an older model on the other side, you can really feel the difference from the extra weight, well, there is a camera lens extra on the back and, as I just mentioned, there is also room for a larger battery.
Next, let's talk about the kind of messy release schedule for iOS 13. Well, iOS 13 was released yesterday, the day before the iPhone 11 was released for iPhones, but it was not released for iPads. Originally, Apple said that iOS 13.1, which would also be iPad OS 13.1, would be released in September. 30, but they've bumped it up by several days and it's now launching on September 24, plus several iOS 13

features

won't launch on your iPhone until the 24th and it looks like Apple has run out of time. By finishing iOS 13 they basically had to get to a point where the software was finished to be able to load it on the new phones that are going to be released and they moved some features to the future and also delayed the release of iOS 13 for the ipad and also for Apple TV, so if you downloaded iOS 13 and find that you can't use features like Siri announcing your text messages as they arrive or using two pairs of Airpods with one device, that's because those features were removed from ios 13 and They will be released in a future ios 13 update and I don't even think those two features will make it to ios 13.1 in a few days.
I think these are actually features of ios 13.2, now one thing is Be careful what apps you use as some apps are not interoperable between iOS 12 and iOS 13. For example, Apple's new reminders app when you open that app in iOS 13 it specifically tells you that it will update your data to be compatible. With iOS 13 and any device running iOS 12 or earlier will no longer be able to access that data, so if you use Reminders on both an iPhone and iPad, you'll probably want to wait a few days until iOS 13.1 is released. Keep all your things working together seamlessly Next, the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro support the new Wi-Fi Six compared to Wi-Fi Five.
Wi-Fi Six has many additional benefits. There is only one new Wi-Fi standard every seven. to ten years, so this is a really big deal. Wi-Fi six supports faster maximum transfer speeds unless devices send more information with each individual transmission. It allows routers to communicate with more devices at once and allows your iPhone and other devices to use 40 percent less battery. power when transmitting and receiving data now Wi-Fi 6 also facilitates better connectivity for dense crowds, so places like airports or sports stadiums as they upgrade to Wi-Fi 6, your Wi-Fi 6 compatible devices will be able to access to those networks.
Now it's much easier to take advantage of Wi-Fi 6, you need to update your router at home. If you have a Wi-Fi 5 or 802.11 ac router, you plug in your new iPhone 11 and you won't see one. Additional Wi-Fi benefits: You'll connect at Wi-Fi 5 speeds, but if you upgrade your router to Wi-Fi 6, your iPhone and any other Wi-Fi 6 devices will be able to take advantage of those faster speeds, battery savings, etc. . I recently did a feature on the Wi-Fi 6 router I'm using Netgear Nighthawk Ax8. If you want to see that review, I'll leave a link in the description below and show you a card here.
Well, next, let's talk about that new Apple-designed u1 chip that supports ultra-wideband. Apple didn't really talk about this on stage, but they do note it on the product pages for the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro. Apple created a new chip called u1, which is used for spatial awareness, this helps iPhones find other iPhones and other devices more accurately when they are very close. An easy way to think about this is to imagine what GPS does when you're out and about and want to find the nearest Starbucks. or you're driving somewhere you've never been before, you pull out your GPS and it pinpoints the location you need to go and directs you to that location.
The u1 chip and ultra-wideband are basically like a GPS, but for your life. room Instead of pointing to an address on a map, ultra-wideband will be able to pinpoint the precise location of an object in a room and take you to it using your iPhone now to start Apple says this improves airdrop and this will actually be part From the iOS 13.1 update, if you want to throw something at someone else, you can point your phone at their phone and it will prioritize your device in the launch interface, but Apple also says that it's just the beginning for the u1 chip and we know that Apple is getting ready to release a new coin-sized tracker, so you can take this track or leave it in your bag, leave it in your luggage, put it on a keychain, basically, attach one to anything you want to track and you'll be able to use it. the Find My app that allows you to find your iPhone, find your devices, find your friends, now you'll be able to locate those trackers as well and by the way, don't think Apple will just put this on the trackers. and on iPhones I expect future airpods to have u1 chips and then future macbooks, probably anything Apple makes will be mobile and they will probably allow third parties to license this as well, so let's say a high tech wallet company releases a u1 chip.
In a wallet they make, you will be able to locate your wallet using your iPhone with pinpoint accuracy. Next on the list, let's talk about audio microphone zoom when you're recording a video with your iPhone 11 or iPhone 11 Pro, it actually has an audio zoom feature similar to the feature Samsung announced for the Galaxy Note 10, except that on the iPhone the feature actually works as you'd expect, so when you're recording someone using your phone while you zoom in on the person, the iPhone will reduce the ambient noise around you and optimize the sound of your voice so you can hear them clearly even from further away.
Now when you compare this to what Samsung does, it seems like what Samsung does is that when you zoom in, it just increases the volume. It's all like that, even if there is ambient noise that also increases, which doesn't really produce the best end result, so the fact that Apple is removing that ambient noise so you can hear voices even when you're far away is a great new feature. They didn't talk on stage when they presented all the new camera upgrades on the 11 and 11 pro, so there you have it guys, six things Apple didn't tell you about the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro and now they're a more informed consumer.
