iPhone 11: My Honest Opinion After Two Months

Feb 27, 2020
Like many other tech YouTubers, I wasn't very impressed with Apple's iPhone 11 launch night. I almost didn't buy one, but I took a chance and I'm very glad I did because the iPhone 11 is not a revolutionary phone by any means. means, but it does a lot of things right,

honest

ly this is one of my favorite phones that Apple has released in a long time and it all starts with those cameras, these are the best cameras I've seen on a smartphone so far, the images you can What you get from this phone's cameras can be nothing short of impressive at times, the 120-degree ultra-wide-angle camera is a lot of fun to shoot and allows you to get incredible perspectives of the world around you without being stabilized like the others. two cameras and tends to be a bit softer in comparison, the wide field of view more than makes up for this, in my

opinion

shots taken in ultra wide mode while walking can be a bit jittery if you don't have something like a gimbal, but if you can stabilize it, you can get amazing dolly-type shots.

The other wide-angle rear camera is even better in terms of sharpness and is optically stabilized, but you lose a bit of the wow factor when it comes. In addition to the large field of view on the ultra wide angle, the selfie camera has also been updated and is now slightly wider and can shoot in 4k and up to 60 frames per second, making all three cameras 4k capable. 60. Thanks Apple, that's great vlogging. camera, as you can see yourself on the screen and talk directly to the camera, although I prefer the ultra-wide look on a gimbal to get that extra field of view and a more stabilized shot if you want a phone that has almost vlogging capabilities. perfect Look no further when using the default camera app, the phone does a great job of automatically adjusting the white balance shutter speed and ISO to compensate for the light and dark parts of the image, but I prefer to control all that myself with something like filmic Pro.

More Interesting Facts About,

So that you don't get that noticeable shift in the image when going from, say, a bright scene to a darker scene, in terms of overall usability the default camera app is fine, but I think you need a serious review, it lacks some of the features. a more experienced photographer or videographer would want like you know ISO control shutter speed control white balance control and it sucks to have to buy a third party app to get the most out of this phone's cameras that says if you just want to take some photos incredible from time to time and without too much hassle and nonsense with the settings, the iPhone 11 does it very well, the portrait mode on both feet wide and the selfie cameras are really impressive and it does a very good job of generating a believable image . with soft bokeh, it gets messed up sometimes, although it's not perfect by any means, a lot of times it will blur the edges of your hair or your ears or other things that should really be in focus, you miss out on the Telephoto Camera which is at 11 Pro and the 11 Pro max, but to be

honest

it hasn't been a big deal for me yet, in my

opinion

the ultra wide angle camera offers much better value anyway, plus let's be honest the camera module It only consumes fuel.

Man, while Apple seems to go on and on about cameras in its keynote, it's not the only notable upgrade over last year's 10r, we also see a performance boost with Apple's new Bionic 13 CPU and an extra gig of RAM bringing it up to 4 gigabytes in total, I'm not exactly thrilled with Apple's decision to continually put less RAM into its phones compared to almost every other manufacturer on the market, but the iPhone 11 handles most tasks well without any problem, the only time low RAM becomes a problem. is that when you open a lot of apps the phone doesn't slow down or anything but it closes previously opened apps which can be a bit annoying from time to time apart from the fact that the performance has been excellent it's no surprise that it comes out up from last year's 10r by more than 200 Geekbench five points, making the 1111 Pro and 11 Pro max the fastest iPhone to date as they share the same CPU and RAM.

Unfortunately, the same praise cannot be given to its design. Sharing a near-identical look and feel of all 10-series phones, from last year's 10 to 2017's iPhone 10, Apple appears to be sticking to its 3-year design refresh, likely making next year's iPhone 12 be the phone that gets the new look shared by the iPhone 11. Exactly the same 6.1-inch LCD screen as last year's 10 R and it's equally boring, the resolution is still 1792 by 828 at 326 PPI, which it makes it a sub 1080p display and yes, Apple deserves the criticism it gets for that low resolution display, especially considering the fact. that much cheaper phones from years and years ago have much higher resolution screens with all that said, in real life it doesn't really matter, you can put the screen up to your eyes and you still won't see the text of an image Individual is a little less sharp than text on a screen that has a higher resolution, but to be completely honest, this is a very well-built LCD screen with excellent colors, contrast and sharpness that is good enough not to complain.
You'll get more vibrant colors and tint your blacks on an OLED panel, yes of course, but I don't think the average person will care much, while the notch was also a point of contention at one point, even that doesn't bother me anymore . Yes, it sometimes interferes when you watch a video, but 99% of the time you don't even notice it, talking about that notch. Apple has claimed that Face ID is now 30% faster than before and can recognize you. better when the phone has a steeper angle, the first part is true, it seems much faster than the second part, although not by much.
I haven't really realized that it can recognize me when the phone is at weird angles and still won't unlock. When I'm sitting at my desk I still have to do that really awkward thing of leaning over so the phone can see me, so the design isn't all bad, although there are a few things Apple has improved this year over last. For starters, the year models, the entire back of the phone is made from a single piece of glass, not exactly something you know a normal person would care about, but I think it's cool. Apple claims this makes it the most durable glass in a smartphone yet, but I have my doubts that it will make much of a difference when you drop it on a hard enough surface so you know, get a case.
There are also several new colors this year, but most people don't like any of them. I seem to like the mint green, but if I had to choose it would be the red product I guess, or the lavender one I would go for. I got stuck on black, although find out how that happened in the video above, another thing Apple improved this year on water resistance: the iPhone 11 is IP68 waterproof now up to two meters for 30 minutes. The previous 10 R had a lower IP67 certification, so the increase is definitely welcome. The 10r also had a smaller battery than the new 11.
The 10s are 29 42 and the 11s are 31 10 milliamp hours Apple claims this will give you up to an extra hour of use in the 10 hours, which is a bit of a number. Arbitrary, but in my experience, battery life is nothing. To sneeze, it's miles ahead of my old iPhone 10 and I can easily enjoy it for a day and a half without having to recharge it. It is without a doubt one of the best bones in terms of battery life that I have tested. To date, the iPhone 11 supports 18W fast charging like they are more expensive siblings, but Apple doesn't seem to want you to know that because they still pack that stupid five-Watt charging brick they put in every iPhone box, but as in last. 10 years or so, you can buy the USBC to Lightning charger that comes standard with the iPhone 11 Pro and Pro max or you can use the equally fast but cheaper charger that I'll link in the description below, seriously, go buy that. don't buy the Apple thing, that thing is expensive, another upgrade Apple talks about is their Space Dobby on most speakers that are supposed to make you feel like you're right inside the action, yes that's exactly how it is described on their website, they actually sound.
Like the slightly better stereo speakers, one is still activated from below, so it's not as good as two front-facing stereo speakers, but I will say that the new speakers do something different, it's a little difficult to identify if you move the phone. You know, closer and further away this sound changes in a strange way, it feels a little more immersive when it's close to your face, in any case the bottom line is that the speakers on this phone are great, especially since they are so small , the sound they produce is loud and full and I really have nothing to complain about.
Now let's talk about where the iPhone 11 fits in the competition at $700 for the 64 gigabyte model. This is one of Apple's cheapest iPhone releases, but it's cheaper than the previous one. It was released in 10r and it's a really good price for what you get for this phone that says $700 puts you in 1 plus 7 Pro territory with that beautiful 6.6-inch 90 Hertz quad HD AMOLED display and fingerprint reader digital below the screen and above. -Notch performance with no notch at all, see what I did there, but it's an Android phone so if you want, I owe you that and you have no desire to have an Android at all and you have a $700 budget, you have two really good ones. options here, the iPhone 11 and last year's 10, our app still sells the 10r, but for a hundred dollars less than the iPhone 11, 600 dollars, that phone is still really good and if you don't care about new cameras, it's probably your best option. for a new iPhone, so after about two

months

I'm still very impressed with the iPhone 11.
I don't really miss the couple of extra features found on the Mac 11pro and 11pro and I think for seven hundred dollars it's a really attractive phone. For people who want the latest and greatest from Iowa on a lower budget, I've been very upfront with cameras on this and while I don't really care for the stupid LCD screen, I'll go ahead and recommend this one without a doubt. yes, you should buy the iPhone 11. It's a great phone. If you liked this video, please like and subscribe to support my channel and as always, have a great day.
