iPhone 11 & 11 Pro Laser Back Glass Fix! + Clear Mod

What's up guys? Everything will be tested here, so I want to make my first mod video. It's been a while on this video. I want to show you how to get a

on your iPhone 11 or 11 Pro, but especially how to repair the

glass

. on the latest apple

iphone

s using this machine so originally bought it in july to do the shiny apple logo never made it of course jerry-riged all did his video on the repair which was awesome. I would like to show you guys their updated process on the iPhone 11 and the probe 11 has a

back

map and I think it would be great to see what they would look like without any color on the

glass

and if you can find access to this machine anywhere it is very expensive already you know at twenty five hundred dollars for the whole setup then this would be a piece of cake otherwise it's a $600 repair for an iPhone 11 Pro max and it goes down from there but it's very very expensive so essentially this machine measures the phone where it's at lets go ahead and turn it on turn it on and use the

laser

go ahead and describe it they've actually updated it with files for the 11 Pro and the 11 as you can see there are even more areas where the

laser

machine will not cut due to sensitive components inside and i would like to go through the process of replacing the back now of course before i try if you are a repair shop or have access to one of these machines please i would 100% recommend you get some glasses with enlarged camera holes, these actually just slide right on, that way you don't have to break the lens, it's a very messy process.

I've seen it in a different video it would essentially clip the edge of the lens and have to replace it which is very time consuming but with one these make the job so much easier and they are about $20.00 so I think I'm going to start with the iPhone 11 just in case and it's fully working just a little worried if something goes wrong not to start with the 11pro let's upload upload the file and get laser burning er and usually this is something that I do all the scrubbing by hand in the past so it makes your job a lot easier and once we break this glass we're going to replace it with this trim again and see what we get we're going to measure the thickness to focus the laser here the machine will go up and down according to the height of the iPhone place it in this corner here and we already have the iPhone 11 diagram loaded and I use the red light to go ahead and select all the features and a little bit weaker it's harder to see here in e l black but it will go ahead and avoid any of those dangerous contact points one two three oh oh i forgot to turn on the fume hood this creates a lot of fumes so as you can see it starts to etch all the paint and the natural beauty is revealed on the inside of the area so one of the areas this machine has trouble with is around the lens and we'll have to run it a few times to make sure it gets all the adhesive the lens area is very tricky and if you're using this machine.

That's not really how you're going to do it, usually the glass is all broken so it's going to refract and it's not going to be as effective as this. Honestly I'm amazed at how good it looks it's already like smoked glass really excited to see the end result but in the event you have a broken back you'll want to run it a few times for whoever has this machine or are looking to buy it. I could see that it is a very valuable asset. to any repair facility so now we're circling the lens and surprisingly it still looks pretty good but it burned part of the lens because like no it's there it cut off a bit of the interesting lens so its doing a second run make sure its all over the adhesive very surprised how effective it is so far i mean compared to the last process where you would have to physically scrape it off or even liquid nitrogen this is a walk through the park oh so it's actually burning part of the side - I feel like the diagram could be a bit b It's cleaner.

I don't really care about this phone but if it went to a repairman and it's like it was there I wouldn't know where to move it and the amazing thing is the iPhone stays cool all the time so there's no risk of overheating. battery or whatever, it's a very efficient process. Hey, it essentially did three passes and you can see where all the adhesive was. Put your tool in there and go ahead and remove the rest of the adhesive. Remember we want this to break, so when that happens. in a second no problem let's see oh wow that's tough glass if it doesn't break that's ok now we flip the lens over and remove the remaining glass but overall this made an extremely job hard to be much simpler so this is a result all clean honestly it didn't turn out as good as i thought it would be better than my

iphone

10 and 10 s version but still not as clean as i thought so be careful when removing the glass so as not to break the wireless coil so actually l broke one of these pieces of glass then had to clean and polish it didn't turn out too bad but not something I'd really want to use every day that's right what the iphone 11 looks like and at this point is where we decide with v7000 glue if we want to put the

clear

cover over it dries clear or we use the replacement with the larger lens cut out and that of course will look oh um and can complete your repair as well e easy seriously amazing a much simpler way to fix your iphone much cheaper than apple of course once you invest in the machine but for repair shops its an invaluable asset so the Next up, the iPhone 11 Pro, get that caliber, put it in its slot, test the laser fine, and it's off. it's a little dimmer on the white and the mat makes a difference it's going to have to go through a few times I think to compensate for the refraction I definitely noticed a difference on the mat it's much harder for the laser to go through so it makes a lot of past and I expect it to come back out just as easily when you break your back it will be a lot harder to get the glass off this is the best case scenario where there are no shards or cracks so it should be pretty easy and this one will looks great Wow, so even so, it has a pretty good effect, it's like a stormtrooper iPhone, although all the sealing is compromised and the glue looks very good, now I have prepared a completely transparent mat. this was not easy but i think it will look much better because it keeps the apple logo which is just glitter and not an actual decal on the back of the paint so i really like what we are seeing here is what you i wish the inside of your iphone looked like this is how it actually looks on the 11pro since it's not broken i can't lift the glass i have to break it i had to there we go and now we can get in there and make the job so much easier ya that burned a lot of ed adhesive away but not all of the mat actually makes it very very hard to get this to work like in 11 so it will take a lot of work on your part actually though much of the adhesive is coming off you can tell it's not as effective as it is on a completely clear glass backing and that's my question at the start of this video how much difference does the mat make and apparently a little bit makes repairs much more difficult, po r what about the lens is much more? hard this will take some extra work be very careful not to damage any components but it's just that the laser has a really hard time penetrating here so it's going to be a little bit of force so far so ok I want to run it again see what it happens if you'll burn any part of the adhesive this way it's not clogged oh yeah so it peels off a little bit better. than the iPhone 11 just because the adhesive adhered much more to the body, the back of the map made it very difficult, so once you're at this point you'll want to grab your replacement cover with the larger lens holes, apply your glue in the same pattern as apple had it a little bit bit up here and then one around the edges and you want to put your replacement cover right over the lenses obviously it's not going to be as water as it was before and so your iphone it's complete again actually pretty simple with this back cover covering the lenses i like and the results now i'm going to keep mine clear so i won't glue it but the clear actually looked pretty good i think it looks even better than the iPhone 11 version it has this gloss and you actually keep your apple logo with the matte finish pretty well just don't look too closely but overall and as a result of the clarity I liked it better on the iPhone 11 Pro, but it's a unique look, I guess definitely. not what you would want your iPhone to do Look like with the sticker but even the real one doesn't look too bad ok guys that's the clear mod for iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 as well as the method for replace the glass thanks for looking stay tuned for the next peace
