INTERVIEW | Will Boyle's first Wrexham AFC interview

Well welcome to Wrexham, what a pleasure to join the football club. Yes, I'm delighted it's now on the line and I'm looking forward to getting started in earnest and being part of the journey. He mentioned the trip there. You joined the club at almost the perfect time. After winning a record title and having a US tour on the horizon, it might be a better time to join the football club. It's really cool, although yes, I'd rather join now than next week. I think also if I miss the trip, so it's a good time to join, obviously I'm going to say anything that people don't already know about what's happening in the club, so it's a perfect time to join and I feel like it's a perfect opportunity right now for me. so yeah, I'm excited and looking forward to starting to look at it from a parent and what it's been like looking at the direction from the outside and then now being a part of the journey as well uh from the outside, I think there's a lot. from conversations in the locker rooms that I've been in and I imagine most of the football league about the club, what's going on and then also away from football, so they're kind of all the media . around the club is huge, obviously you're just me, and it's exciting to be a part of it.

As soon as I heard about an opportunity, it was something that I was excited about, so that was really the main point of attraction and I think it's a club that One Direction goes to, everyone or you probably know, yeah, and for those of me that we don't know about your career so far, what kind of things you are involved in, what you have done and what your highlights are. Well I'm driving from Huddersfield I signed there last year um from Shopping Town um I worked at Cheltenham for about five five and a half years it was um I played in League Two we ended up winning League Two me and Toes played together in the same team uh Billy was there a I also had a couple of spells and before that I was at Huddersfield, the new thing came through the Huddersfield academy.

I've had a couple of Bells launches around the country and in Scotland too and obviously we're in Wales now. But if. I've probably been around here a bit Yeah, but I'm looking forward to Saturday and Alia, you mentioned Billy Waters and the bentos are there, how nice it is to see two familiar faces when you joined the football club and how much you like it. I'm looking forward to reconnecting with them, yeah, I think it definitely helps. Know them as personally as I do. It definitely helps. It is part of a different relationship than just a teammate or an acquaintance as such.

So that's how it is. I'll definitely help, but I'm looking forward to meeting the rest. There's a couple of guys that we're not playing with and we also created spells to like some moles and charcoal fakes and stuff like that, so there are some familiar faces and I've also played against most of the rest of the guys, so I hope to integrate sooner and finally for the fans at home. If you had a message for them, what would it be? I'm delighted to be here. I've seen what's been happening from afar as I think everyone has and it looks exciting and to be honest I'm excited to be a part of this and I can't wait to see what we can bring and what this season can bring.
