Louis, welcome to Dundee United Football Club, how delighted you are to be here, yes, first of all, thank you for having me, very excited for the opportunity and delighted to be on board, it's something that happened quite quickly, maybe it's a movie to be released. blue, so can you tell us about the latest king of 24 48 hours? Yeah, I think talks have been going on for a couple of days, probably since Thursday Friday, and I was quite interested in talking to the manager, getting to know him. and once I spoke to him, I had a very good idea about him, this football club and the project in the future, so I really wanted to come here, get it, finish it and start enjoying my football.

I have to sell it to you or it was a pretty easy decision. He spoke very, very well. He has revealed his intentions and in terms of me and this football club and the ambitions of this football club and the ambitions for me they just coincided. yeah, so I think once you hear that from the manager and obviously I know the history of Dundee United and what a fantastic football club it is and what a great football club it is, uh, I get that feeling in my stomach that I probably didn't add to in a long time. time and something that I needed and need as a player as a person to thrive.

Do you feel like you have unfinished business in Scotland? Yeah, hugely, so yeah, I feel like I have a point to prove and I think that's going to help me and help me get my hunger back, uh, on the gaming side and it's something that I want to do and I want to show people that they're wrong. I'm very, very confident that I can do it. I have come here to score goals and that is the beer, the end. Everything really fell into place for you, at my level, you scored more than half a century ago.

Do you think the Scottish game really suits your playing style? Yes, I think you hit the nail on the head. I think passion, first and foremost, suits me as a person and as a football player, and I think it's the way football is played in Scotland. suits me uh to the ground uh I think the work rate for me helps uh and I think the way the leagues are will also help me and I hope to access our school goals the fact that you have also played here. I guess that makes it not only easy to adapt on the field, but also off the scene, with your family, because you're going to have to move up, yeah, definitely, I think as a family, that wasn't the deciding factor, but it was a little bit .

It's more complicated than, you know, if I didn't have a wife and kids, so to speak, but they were very supportive. My wife Carly, she is very interested in coming to live here and the girls are coming. With us, person, we want to make this a home. I think sometimes I think that if you try your hardest and dedicate yourself and your family life to it, I think you will be successful and that's what I aim to do. I really aspire to settle at home here for the moment and the wife wants to do that, the kids want to do that and we want to enjoy it, seeing the number nine shirt behind you, it's a big responsibility at any club, but I'm sure you backed yourself to score. a lot of goals here wow, that's one of the first things I said to the coach, if I'm honest, I said I see that number nine is still available, uh, you know, it feels like my number almost, uh, is. something I used previously on mobile that's Preston North End after that so yeah I'm delighted to get that number and you know I can't wait to play it's quite a unique situation we've got a game tonight and it would be the perfect way to introduce yourself to the fans if you could be on the scoresheet, well yeah, first of all, you know, I hope I can play a role, that's the main thing if everything is done on time and you know all those things. uh but you know I'm fit, I'm ready, uh, I've had a good pre-season, uh, I've stayed in charge over the summer, I've looked after myself, so yeah, it's going to take a little bit of time to recover. speed in terms of game minutes but I will give it my all from the start that's for sure, the fan base has been desperate for a striker and they have some, I'm sure they will give you a warm reception.

Yeah well I hope so, like I say I know the history, I know the fans here at Dundee United are amazing and very vocal from a previous time at Motherwell so I'm really looking forward to meeting the fans and everyone around me . the place really and uh and learning about this uh this place is to live but also to play football and I really want to do it.
