IMPD seeks person who shot up Ron Sexton's rental car | 'He was trying to make sure I was dead'

I didn't even hear the pops, you know, but I felt glass everywhere. A volley of bullets tore through his car as he drove down Shadeland Avenue. It wasn't a scare. tactic, he was

to kill me, no doubt after a show in Portland, Indiana, on Saturday night, Sexton made a stop in his hometown, my parents still They live in Indy, so hopefully I was going to do it.

I caught up with my family before flying back home and stopped to get a hotel room at the Drury Inn on 75th Street and I was hungry so I decided to meet my girlfriend for some wings and a drink . Sexton tells me that he returned safely to his Florida home Sunday night despite what happened at this intersection earlier that day. Sexton will return to the area this weekend for a pair of shows in Shelbyville on Saturday night.
