I paid Amazon to upgrade my computer (IT'S. A. SCAM.)

front panel connectors, again, you're not used to working with a gaming case, potentially with so many different cutouts for routing cables that you might not have thought of. Oh, there's actually a better way to route this front panel connector, the last thing I'll do. What I want to point out is that the sleeve on one of the I/O tubes came undone, so it just ripped off there. It's hard to say if it was more factory or more, but at least it was kind of a bummer. I see it at the end of the job, but that pretty much sums up cable management, so it's not the best I've seen nor the worst I've seen.

At that point, we were ready to turn on the system, so we connected the peripherals and we just waited, we just waved to see what was going on and the first thing that appeared on the screen was actually a message from the msi BIOS saying that our rams were in the wrong slots and should be moved to slots two and four , the technician immediately took note, shut down the system and then rearranged the memories to the proper configuration, so once he rearranged the memory and rebooted the system, we jumped right. on Windows, which meant that this motherboard already came with the updated BIOS needed to run our Xen 2 processor, so again the board came into action here and saved the technician probably a good half hour of time trying to figure out why the system didn't work.

After publishing and then having to update the BIOS and everything was fine, we were ready for testing. At that point he told me to jump into a game, try playing it, and just to see how it worked, I jumped into Resident Evil 2 and played for about a minute. or two and everything was fine, everything worked wonderfully from the way everything looked, he pretty much said it's a final job, part of me wishes he had taken the extra time to look at the motherboard manufacturer's support page alone to see if there were other drivers or maybe even utilities that the customer may or may not want to use, for example I know this motherboard doesn't have it, but if it had built-in Wi-Fi, as you know, I would have used the extra effort to download the driver for that, even if it was just some stupid RGB software, you know whatever, if I had briefly gone to the support page to see if there was anything there I wanted or needed that would have been a nice touch.

In his defense because he didn't do any driver installation or have to do a clean install of Windows or anything like that, he deducted $20 from the total price which means I

paid

$200 to

upgrade

my motherboard and CPU. From start to finish, it took him about an hour and 45 minutes to complete the task, which I thought was perfectly reasonable - definitely much faster than the initial three hours he had quoted me. I think it was a little smoother than he anticipated, which could also play a role. I don't understand why they reduced the price a little, but my biggest complaint with this whole experience is the fact that Amazon's estimate is so wrong and so unrealistic compared to the actual price customers pay that it's like it's almost in

scam

territory and people think they are.

I'll pay like accepting it and ending up paying ridiculous amounts for a service that Amazon told them was going to be much lower, so it's something they have to fix because I can't recommend the service, not because the technician was good, but because of the quotes that Amazon offers to your customers services like this that are dishonest, deceptive and not a sustainable way of doing business so it needs to change now but that's all I have for now guys you know smash the like button if They enjoyed it and Subscribe to the channel for more tech content.
