Mar 04, 2020
mic so when our super fights are announced like this obviously you've been in a lot of these super fights before how much pressure do we have on a man to deliver on the biggest stage hey listen man this is the biggest moment of your life, is this the moment? we always dream of being a super fight every time i fight everyone is watching and this is just a dream come true for both fighters i think what did you like about both fighters? well I like them both I fight this you know below these two guys came out of nowhere and managed to be heavyweight champion you know you have nothing to do but respect that I understand that I had their position at a time like you thought I was going to going to the first time, I don't know, um, I don't know, he probably expected Tyson Fury to always be with him because he's named after me, so it was always the natural thing to do well, so always. really um I'm partial to him but while the knockout artist does justice yeah and he did very well I thought Ferry was handling it well Tyson was handling it well boxing well I didn't know Tyson Fury with that boxer so well, you know because of his clumsiness that he's tall you can't see that he doesn't look like he's going to be such a good boxer but he's very effective he moves well for a while he doesn't even realize he's moving good cause it looks awkward dude you actually did the podcast with

tyson

fury

ëthe what was it like having

tyson

as a guest hadrian what kind of things would it take faith in that um he's really nice you leave the place really like in him you know it's a good person you mentioned obviously how the fight was going Tyson looked very impressive and boxing Wilder you know do you think that surprised a lot of Americans who didn't know what Tyson had to offer?

never

really

understood

Tyson, you know, you

understood

, you know, and then I kept seeing a meeting with guys who were decent fighters for a while, you guys washed up with you, I wouldn't fight, what's the problem? and it has to look like I should be beating these guys but he's beating me guys and laughing at them and making it look funny you know so I became a fan and now he's a lot better than I thought or from what it sounds like you obviously mentioned about the super fight stage that these guys have trained and worked to be in when they're in the ring and they stare at each other, there's nerves, there's fear before the fight, all of that isn't there. there, I'm sure, but by the time the faith in each one of those nerves and fears that disappeared evolved to this no, this is what it is to fight from time to time what then what takes over the adrenaline probably honey but apart from the adrenaline and the high stakes is like a sparring match is like Going to the gym Wilder is the knockout puncher people say he obviously only needs to win a second of any round to win a fight and in the ninth round to knock Tyson Fury down, what does it take in a fight of that magnitude or any fight to go up?

Get off the deck and start to fight the same way the tide came in, the thing is there, no you know it ain't over 'til it's over, you know I don't care how hard you fight what a big punch it's hard beat tomato, someone, I quit and this is what it is when you were watching the fight, did you get involved in it, the fact that Tyson had taken this advantage and Deonte then knocked him down, was that something you knew? Were you rooting for Tyson absolutely, yes absolutely was he? um, I don't know how to put it, it was, um, it was almost like a fairy tale screen book written, he fell, he got back up, it seemed impossible, like he was done and he got back up and then when Tyson was putting his hands up. behind his back and over his head and telling Wilder to come to him what they did here Wow the customer thought but that's just this money fight in the spirit of fighting you know I can't judge that but he just, um, wowed a lot of people by getting up because it's all you should.

I don't counter punch oh well it's tough he showed these hard punches he's able to take partial punches get up come back and spin around. I guess I really admire him. I think he's a really good guy. It's not that I like Dante Wilde. I think he is a wonderful man. I like to know him well, but I

never

got to know him as well as I knew Tyson in round 12 when Tyson left. downstairs people thought that was it people thought it was game over what was your first impression when tyson

fury

hit the ground in the last round oh man it was over and then he got up and then it was almost like a rocky stage Did everyone go crazy? and then he fought back, he stayed water, I agree with you, he fought back, he did, he did and how much his parry increased as a consequence of fighting him like that, I am a fair man, I will be interested in him getting out of this fight too.

Do you think Walder as a finisher was going to be able to finish Tyson when he hurt him in the 12th round? Did you think not? there tyson who was out of place showed up like that but they were all wrong the looks were wrong the looks were wrong people thought it was game over cooney could yes when someone counters like that at the end from a fight and he's tired, fatigued, emotional stress of that kind. of things, what is needed? Think of the great amount of gut strength. Retailer's self-belief. Self-belief in yourself and confidence to believe that everyone has come to the situation and it is just an illusion.
Not bad, as it seems. Tyson has obviously said that. he's a huge fan of yours and that's been well documented whereas when asked about the biggest heavyweight of the past he said he would have beaten you in a fight hey idk i loved the fact that he thinks that we could, that's what I would say too, it's supposed to. i think we're heavyweight champions of the world and there's something very special about it and i hope you never forget these guys dead on par with view Lennox and Evander and the guys from their day listen because if they are they're not the champions in their reign deserve the respect of a champion what happens in the rematch on February 22 is going to be very very very interesting if I could guide both they would have something to prove a lot of evidence and I wish the best for the title mo in the data
