i listened to the new BTS album even though i don't like BTS

Here's the thing: I don't

even

always dislike auto tuning. In fact, I like certain artists solely for their auto tune: Travis Scott, Post Malone, Don Toliver, but on this

album

it sounded bad. It was excessive, it was robotic. And as I pointed out, it caused a lot of the songs to just blend into each other. What's more, it was unnecessary. These people know how to sing. Who did that? BTS, why did you let someone do that to you? Beyond that, the

album

has too many tracks, too many tracks. If an album is going to be an hour and 16 minutes or whatever, it has to be really engaging, otherwise it'll feel long.

And I think it was pretty interesting at the beginning, but towards the end it definitely felt long. Many of the tracks on the second half of the album have redundant lyrics and were dragged on over and over again. Honestly, towards the end it wasn't enjoyable for me. Those are my main negatives about the album. Overall,

, the composition was a consistent victory. The whole concept of the album was amazing. They delivered an entire album focused on exploring psychology through music. On top of that, their performances were impeccable. The s

More Interesting Facts About,

Everyone came together on this album to create an incredible product. And that product gets a B minus. Minus one that updates for auto tuning and redundant songs. There were too many. Why were there 20 songs? Anyway, do I still like BTS after all this? Yes. It was good music, but it was still very much in line with all their other music, which I already didn't like before I heard it. They are good artists and I definitely understand why they are so popular now, definitely more so now than before I heard the album. When I'm minding my own business and relaxing, I'm not going to put on BTS.

OK that's fine. I could play "My Time" by Jungkook. Other than that, I'm not going to listen to BTS in my free time. His style is not for me and that's okay. That is allowed, obviously it is for many people. My final word is that the album felt like a 2000s boy band album that someone sent into the future and asked the people of 2014 to mix and master it, and that's not inherently bad. And if you're into that kind of stuff, I think it's a really good album. It's just not something I really get anything out of.

That's my review of "Map of the Soul:7" by BTS. I remain fair and, most importantly, I was honest. But I did my best to educate myself about the members and all that. However, I am aware that I may have messed up some names or some pronunciations or maybe certain things like that. But I promise, I didn't mean to. I really spent hours preparing, just putting all the letters together and putting the little images on the screen. I really cared about this video because I cared about listening to the album. You know what I mean? I still wanted to do a good job.
But I'll probably still get a lot of similar comments from BTS fans who only

listened

to the first 30 seconds of me saying I didn't like BTS and then tuned it out. Anyway, honestly who cares.
