I Bought a Badly Wrecked Nissan GTR From the salvage Yard!

What's going on guys, welcome back to the channel, so today is going to be a really exciting video. In fact, we have a new invoice. Let's go pick her up. We just arrived, that is, in Houston, Texas, about a 12-hour drive away. There's the car we have. - 2015 Nissan GTR alright guys here is the 2015 Nissan gt-r oh we just loaded it up now let's strap this car up and hit the road we'll check it out once we get home so we have the nice car and sure we have two straps in the front for both front wheels then we have two nice straps here for the rear subframe let's go ahead and hit the road nice laughs 20 hours of driving we finally made it back to the shop now it's time to unload this thing and See you again tomorrow because I'm tired and I need to get some sleep, so let's go ahead and set up these ramps and see if this thing can start because the suspension here is a little bit bent. but I think we can ship it, we know we'll handle the job, let's do it and then the detail is a pop, add this part is mangled, so we've got a little bit of damage up here, the front bumper is pretty stuck, it didn't.

It has a clear bra that saved some of the scratches but the fender is amazing and has a little dents on it, it looks like it hit a concrete wall or something because the way the damage is up here and then on the bottom. all serious damage, we have some major suspension damage and the quarter pounder is obviously destroyed, the rear bumper will have to be re-repaired because absolutely all the brackets are destroyed, let's go ahead and see what's inside the trunk that we have. some supplier monitors I guess the insurance company actually took it all apart, we have the fender liners, we'll say why I think we can probably fix this.

Keralite has a broken tab right there, which isn't too bad because these things are pretty expensive and then I also have the old headlight, which is awesome because we have all the other stuff that comes with it, like the ballast. I guess I'm not too sure, but there it is, we could fix it with some flexible tape or something we can. We'll have to talk about that later, let's move on and see what else is here. This is a part of the rear trunk, here we have the air duct, I guess, for the front coiled cable here and then some skid plates.

Let's get another protective plate. I'm guessing this goes on the bottom of the car, it has a little damage, there will definitely be a new one of these, no idea what it is, but we'll be as good as all the parts. and normally the insurance companies would just take all the parts out and leave them off the car, but I got really lucky with this part. Now we wrap this rear bumper and tie it with these metal zip ties. Let's go ahead and take off this rear bumper and see what the damage is underneath. Ok, I removed the bumper.

I'm pretty sure this is my heel, it's not fixed, but I'm not too sure we can get a new bumper. This looks pretty destroyed for now. we can see that this thing actually has a titanium. I have a povich exhaust, which is really nice. These things sound incredible, but the damage here is actually very bad. Basically just the entire quarter panel needs to be replaced here. It really looks like they hit the frame rails or something, so I'm pretty happy with that. Now let's go ahead and look inside. Let's check this on the GTR, so inside the only thing we have is just two airbags deployed, but we have the roof airbag and the sea airbag, which shouldn't be too big of a problem, pretty easy to replace, pretty easy to get, so now that we've seen all the damage on this car, let's go ahead and lift this rear end, hit this rear tire and see how bad the damage is. it's below.

I'll probably want to straighten out some of those drivers so we can drive the car a lot better because right now it doesn't drive that well and we'll be putting the frame on soon so let's go ahead and get Take this wheel off and see what's going on there so we take the rolls and now I see exactly that she was banished. This tie rod here looks like it's pretty thin, so let's go ahead and remove that piece, straighten it out. Turn it back on so we can move the car a lot better and we'll put it on the frame machine so we're not in a rush and we'll go ahead and place the order so let's get that thing out and get it straightened out right we take the control arm off now basically, we're just going to hammer it in, straighten it out so we can move the car, basically OEM, we'll replace it later, but I just want to straighten the wheel for now. go ahead and put this thing back on, take it down the road, so we put the controller back in there, now we're going to put the steering wheel back in there and see how it lines up, how are we doing it right and in a straight line?

It's ready for the drag strip. we straightened the wheel because it was pretty crazy we just weren't controlling it wasn't like a banana but we took a sledgehammer to straighten everything out now the wheel is nice and straight the next thing we need to do is go ahead and start taking this car apart because we're going to replace this whole side panel with a new OEM side panel, which means we would have to play again, remove these glasses, remove both glasses and we're going to take out some of the interior part when you take the seat out and obviously the curtain airbag is blown up so We might as well go ahead and just take the tire off and get ready for these bags so let's go ahead and take everything apart and get this ready for Ricardo has to look at some new parts while you keep telling us to take them off so we have to take them off when you see the cover and ship them since I can resell them and now we're going to go ahead and move inland, we have to go ahead and start removing everything, get the C votes out.

I'm pretty sure I want to wear the red seat belt because I think it will match what they call really good, besides all the red butts we have. all the interior taken apart, we take all the airbags out of the roof now, when you move on to cutting the windows, I find it pretty easy, we have this nice gun here, it cuts the windows very quickly, so let's go ahead and cut this one out. and this, so we have both windows like the gt-r, now it's time to move on to the rear trunk area, we have to go ahead and remove everything because the way you replace this quarter pounder is here on the side, There's a seam down here and in here, so let's take this trunk out and get everything out of here so we don't burn anything and we're welding it up.

There are many parks relaxing everywhere, but take a look back. We have all the seats outside, everything is basically. ready to go ahead and replace this quarter panel exactly, the factory recommends it here and just the spot welds and then up here, so it's going to be a pretty simple procedure to replace this quarter panel, we also go ahead and take everything out of the trunk, so that looks really good there and that's it, it just needs to grow on the frame machine, take it out a little bit more and replace it, okay guys, that'll be a wrap for today's video, we've got the complete GTR, all stripped down.
