and flying storm these dragons are a little bigger than we usually see in these smaller basic figure packs and with a little more oomph to his tricks we start right away with

in this epic how to

He may have said it a few times. I really like the new packaging design in this current movie on the back of the box. I have a good picture of Toothless standing over the hidden world. I guess we have wings opening and a quick picture of that, plus other figures available.

let's quickly get toothless out of this box and see what he can do and out of the box with fancy lights and sounds come out wings toothless this toothless with sort of a sneaky stalking pose a little bit low to the ground has there have been many a spin master toothless over the years many different head scopes many different looks this one i would say falls into the good category probably the highest there are so many to remember i am going to have to do an overall review of the toothless one collection These days unfortunately for a lot of Spin Master's Dragons product right now there's not a lot of articulation you can move the legs a little bit here and there they move back to the front but it messes up the way they're standing they have to. be in the right place to leave them all flat footed so not too much and because of this kind of stalking stance it doesn't really do much else to work with but it's there there's a little bit of movement it seems like there's nothing on the jaw to move though i think i prefer this non projectile head style compared to the projectile heads it's just a little simpler it looks good and look how it drags here or whatever you want to call them they are Popping out in a different piece than the head piece there, the highlight of this toothless figure is the action features though it's these amazingly beautiful fabric toothless wings that are soft and look at the pattern design these things have cool blues swirling occult world style things cloth wings being something i wish i had seen a while ago they are really nice i am curious to see how this toothless wings also work with blacklight look they are glowing very ok, it's funny they didn't mention that on the checkout. and of course we have a popup feature so what you need to do is take each wing and each wing has a post right on the end and put them on the back piece.

There are little holes right there. I was going to say my toothless popup function works perfectly and for the most part it does. I've had issues with my light fury but this toothless popup feature works so well once you load them up just press down on the back of the spine and they pop out. with the sound effect let's try again because i already noticed a little problem and go ahead press the button there we go yeah this one works much better than my light fury. I don't know if it's just a plastic. or there just isn't enough room for these poles to fit in the hole but this one always flips sometimes if I give it a little bit of flex on the wing I can get it to come out nice even on button press they like this stick so no there are issues going with light fury but toothless here has been doing great and obviously with the popup feature which is the button that activates the lights and sounds i mean there's about three sound effects that you can see. the light on his back comes on a little bit almost on his chest but i think its for his back oh yeah there is an on/off switch down there you will want to change the switch to one for on mode no that's the intent. mode but they seem to do the same thing some quick comparisons here we have the new basic assortment toothless figure really not much smaller for some reason you would think the

deluxe

one is much bigger going back in time a bit hey how to train your dragon to tooth, this would be from the line of motorized dragons of which there were many toothless and this one should also have a back lighting feature when you press the head into that more of a thin bodied large wing - toy of course if you wish.

I really want to go back in time. My original how to train your dragon, toothless boy, has changed over time. These attack the one that is a little bluer but more accurate in the movie. I think I still have a couple of these. A lot of people including myself haven't been super excited about this new line of

oh just because it's been more of the same from Spin Master so if you're looking for something different don't forget to check out How Train Your Dragon The Playmobil collection has a really nice selection of dragons to look at with a little better articulation and that Playmobil designed to look like they're fun to ride around and I like how the back spines on this one stay lit up and there's a new line of how to train your dragon Three Playmobil dragons on the way Hope to get some of those soon wow that toothless has a huge wingspan I like the Playmobil design two minifigures with those two of course nothing beats this dragon what was that toothless check out

it's cool we're getting stormfly in this scale they could have easily stopped with toothless and the light fury on the back of the box a nice picture of stormfly standing in the hidden world they also like to reuse that backdrop of the hidden world, isn't it?

We have pop-out glowing beaks with Stormfly and of course we have other Toothless and Stormfly figures available. Gathering up, hey Larry, we need some pictures of the other dragons available in this Stormfly box, okay, Stormfly is available, how about we put us on the back of the box? Sounds like a good idea, very well done. Out of the box it's nice to see a slightly larger version of Stormfly, sometimes they skimp on her size so it's nice to see that it's also nice to see that she didn't skimp on most of the thorns found in her.

The spines on his back head are really long and sharp oh there are also a lot of spines on his tail oh and of course we have spines going down his back that will be attached to the action feature it's not coming out yet it seems that this storm fly also has a lot of translucent plastic. with its wings and even its body, so it's probably going to glow a little bit and for Stormfly's action to have a function, we're going to move one of its hind legs. right now and those thorns are coming up now they're sharp yeah looks like we need to turn it on so right now let's test myself and one would be on so now we should get some lights and sound that must be the chicken she didn't eat a little bad effect , the only downside is that it just goes back down, there's a spring in that leg, so if you wanted his spines to stay upright at all times, they're just going to come back down, it could have Jimmy rig a rubber band or something on the wings of Stormfly are on hinges you can have them up to 45 or lower so about three positions for that let's take a look at the spines one more time not a bad feature I like all the spines on it, I just wish they would stay up as to how much it scales with the basic Stormfly assortment, it feels so much larger in scale and you can see how much more spiny it is.

Another fun comparison would be a Stormfly from How to Train Your Dragon 2. This would have been one of the power dragons available I think it had flapping wings or something it's a mouth that opens and a glowing tongue though I think its batteries have run down its interesting how the power dragon version of stormfly takes up about the same amount of space as the new stormfly however the new stormfly is so much bigger it must have eaten more chicken and for a comparison still crazier and funnier, here is your original How to Train Your Dragon, the storm fly.

I tell you which of the original dragons were the best. They did his head sculpt is amazing so there would be his three deluxe dragons with lights and sound action all three look great. I'm really enjoying toothless with pop-up wings that work too, but the light theory is great. I can forgive those wings. I'm glad they included Stormfly. If you are a big collector of these dragons, you should look at all three. Hey? Looks like I don't have a chicken right now, so you'll have to fight for that sheep. DreamWorks How to Train Your Dragon The Hidden World Spin Master Deluxe Action and Sound Dragons hit store shelves in January 2019, retailing for about twenty bucks each if you're a bigger-than-usual fan of the toothless storm or the new theory of light, these deluxe dragons are worth seeing what they sound like puffing and pricking.
