Feb 20, 2020
Hi, I'm Serena Wilson and I'm with Hot Mesh Boutique and I started this little business because I love crafting and I love making fares and I want you to do it too so this is a little video tutorial but it's also just thinking about it. like a journey to create some really beautiful things and these also

make

really good gifts so let's go ahead and start now. The basic things you'll need are a rarity right now, but this is a functional

wreath

and you can get them at any craft store. Personally I prefer the ones from Hobby Lobby, but there are several and then you will use them and that will be your base.

You will choose some decorative

mesh

and this is a lot of fun. To work with the door now, before we start,

mesh

on the right ruler in the middle, working the crown on the left, okay, one important thing to do is open your crown wide, so now we're going to put the mesh decorative on the crown so I have everything lined up properly now I'm going to take the base color which is going to be white and then the funky one on top and we're going to take them like this and I'm just going to group them together and it's almost like I'm making a queue, look how I did it, I'm going to move this and then I'm going to place this tail right here, okay, look how I did it, now I'm I'm going to take my beautiful measuring device here and I'm going to measure about 12 inches here and then I just I'll group it and put it in the next one and then you'll just have to do one, two, two turns.

More Interesting Facts About,

how to make a mesh wreath part 1...

It's a little tight, you know, so it doesn't really move around too much, so just worry about getting it in there and getting the size right and then we'll go around it, so now that I've shown you how to

make

one, let's go around the circle. outside and then we're going to do it after I do the next one. You see, you're going to do the same with this one. Well, this is what we end with now before we get to the actual beginning. So we're coming back to square one, so this is the first one here with the tail just right, so now we're almost there, but we're not going to get there.

Now let's jump inside. sounds good, so you're going to measure like you normally do and then I'm going to put this in, see how this is the malicious fourth now that I've measured it, I'm ready to go and I'm going to jump from this one. the next one on the inner ring I'm going to jump right here okay then we'll do the turn twice and then here's the fun

part

now you can do it on the inner

part

so now On this one you have to estimate a little bit more unless you have a ruler, but now you're going to do this and make your 12 inches on the inside and you're going to rotate like this and then I'm going to do that again along the inner circle with each one and I'll show you okay, we're in the last one, so here we go, let's go back to where we had crossed. over here and we're going to go and finish it right here on the inner ring, okay, just like that, now you're at the end, so we're going to cut off the tail, we're going to cut it a little long here.

It doesn't have to be perfect like this and then we're going to put it with the other one, the other tail, look, I have the beginning and the end, and we're just going to put it in the reason why call it a working crown because behind it it doesn't have to be pretty this is where all the work is done so there you go just put it in like this and that's how you'll know where your blouse is now well if you don't. I don't want it to be noticeable, you can cover it with lint, that's fine, but otherwise sometimes I'll put a bow here or put something to let me know that I know that's where my blouse is okay, so now you don't have the finished crown.
I'm done with the basic part, I'm done well, so now comes the fun part of playing with it a little bit. The nice thing about mesh is that it's obviously flexible and a lot of fun to work with, you can just go wherever you want. you want me to do it and do all kinds of different things, look how that just creates little different shaped eyes and you want to get under that and really open it up, look how that opened it up a lot and makes it where it looks a lot fuller, see a big improvement, okay, and then half the fun is just playing with it and shaping it the way you want now this one didn't want to see it, a payment, right?
This happens sometimes so I didn't want the center part to be open so look at how it's filling with mesh right here which is using the twelve inches now if you wanted the open part if you wanted it to be more open here and a little bit thinner over here so you can have something in the middle and some people hang an ornament and do all kinds of things. If you want that open part or the middle part to be open, you'll want to use about ten. inches or less and then you can fluff it
