HOW TO: HALF UP HALF DOWN QUICK WEAVE | STEP BY STEP TUTORIAL *HIGHLY REQUESTED*

half

down, so we're going to jump right into it, so I'm going to split it up. where I'm going to have my ponytail and you want it to be a good size you don't want it to be a small ponytail so you want to split a good amount this is great for people who have thin edges and you. I feel like you can't pull off this style, trust me, this is the way to go because I have that problem too, but it's not easy, I'll show you how to do it, so now I'm just going to braid it all.

Along the way, I'm going to connect my braids as I move on to the next braid and then if you want you can leave that braid out or if you want you can

weave

it in so that's what we're going to do here. Don't worry about that back part, honestly, don't worry about any of that like you're not going to see it, so we'll make sure to braid it if you want, if you're not a braider. You can also do this in a ponytail, so don't be scared, put it in a ponytail, but this is how I like to do it now.

I'm going to wear one of my stocking hats. I have both packages and I'm I'm going to apply the first one first and I'm going to spray the shit out of my head. I like to make sure my hair is pretty soaked with my Got To Be spray because once you blow dry it, it will be used as a great protective barrier and will allow the glue to not seep into your real hair, so make sure and Don't be afraid to spray as much as you can until it soaks into your head and then you'll just blow it dry. and now I'm going to go in with my second one and do the exact same thing, so this is going to create a super duper barrier and when you wash it off, it's all going to come out of your head, so Doing the same thing, I'm just spraying all the way around and I'm just blow drying until it's really dry and you'll know when it's dry because it'll turn white like you can see exactly where. you spray that on now I'm just cutting the top and the second that way I know exactly what I placed my tracks on and I can have a little guide because the actual caps are clear so you want to cut Out of that second cap I'm using two packages of this five piece Dominican curl pack from Ultra, it's only 20 at the salon or maybe even online too, but I love it, it's super cute and I'm going to use six of these. lumps in my head and kept the double tracks.

I just discovered this edge control and I'm in love with it too, so what I'm going to do now is just put my hair in the middle of that ponytail. area and I'm just going to apply just a generous amount in the middle to the front and the sides and then I'm just going to comb through and make sure that we're going to get a slick ponytail, so I'm just combing through and making sure that we're going to get a slippery ponytail. I didn't want my ponytail to be right at the top, so I'm just pushing it back a little bit, so I'm going to go in with my paper strips that I use in my ponytails.

Fold it a few times and I'm going to wrap it around the beginning of my ponytail. This will help protect your hair from the glue because I won't set my prints. I'm going to glue it down so all the The glue can be right on this paper and I'm just going to wrap it around it and then I'm going to use two sets of rubber bands and apply it over it so it stays in place, so that's the first time. Now, I'm going to apply my hair glue, I'm going to put just a generous amount right on the front.

You don't have to do it all over the ponytail, just the front and you have to be careful not to let it leak. through I'm going to start my tracks and they're still double. I'm starting it at the beginning of the ponytail where the paper starts and I'm going to work all the way down and you want to take your time with this just to be careful and be safe if it feels overwhelming I say place a clip over the rest of that tail of ponytails that way it doesn't become overwhelming and the lengths of my actual ponytails I mean my ponytails are 20 inches and then the other bundles that I have are 20 inches and 22 that are around my head so we're done with the second package and now we're just going to make sure it's in place and intact, so we're going to blow dry it. and then I make sure it's in place the way I want it before I wrap it, so now I'm just going to take a nice little section of the back and just go to work. around and then I'll brush it a little bit and spray it with my spray to help slide it a little more and we'll keep wrapping it and I'll do it a few times to brush it just to make sure it's nice and slick and like I said before, if it's too much overwhelming, like with all the hair moving everywhere, just put it in like a clip, so now to seal it, I sprayed it a little bit more with a little bit of it has to be spray and now I'm going to blow dry it and hold it up to make sure let it stay in place and then I'm going to blow dry it one more time to make sure it's completely dry now that it's going to go in. with my shiny gem mousse I'm just going to apply it on my leave just to wake it up a little bit because it was so dry and super super curly.

It's not the same texture, well, it's not the same. pattern like the extensions, but that's okay and then I'm just putting a little bit of edge control on it so I can tame it more and stretch it out and then I'm just going to slide my edges halfway into the pop-downs in one of my favorite hairstyles to wear especially this type because I have fine edges and this is a great way to be able to cover that and also have big hair as I love big hair so this was perfect.
