Feb 18, 2020
Hey guys Matt we'll meet you here let's go back to another video and today it's going to be about my Eagle Scout status update in just two years so in this video I'm going to go over the

camping

requirements

for ten two foot second class in first class and in If you don't know what those ranges are. Tenderfoot covers basic information on

camping

kitchen tools, first date, etc. and those are just some of the basic knowledge that you should know about those topics and then the second class goes a little bit in detail, it's a little more advanced.

Because there are more things you need to do or the

requirements

are more detailed than what you need to do and then the first class covers the same information like camping cooking tools, first aid, etc. except those are the really specific things you want what you do I know, that takes longer and I'm working first class right now and some of the things I need to do or have done is camping, so the 1a tender food requirement in camping and outdoor ethics says introduce yourself to your leader prepare for an overnight camping trip shows the proper way to pack and transport your camping gear 1 B says spend at least one night in a patrol or troop camp and sleep in a tent that you helped set up 1c says tell how you practice code outdoors on a camping or hiking trip, there are other things you can do, like they're more cooking related, but one of them says, I want to camp, demonstrate the proper method for cleaning items safely, but that's yours, they're usually made at a campsite, but that leans more toward the cooking side, so I'll discuss them in another video moving on to the second and 1st camping and outdoor ethics class. free.

More Interesting Facts About,

how to get eagle scout camping for scout requirements...

Since joining, I participated in the five separate troop patrol activities, three of them have to camp overnight, so outings or activities basically mean anything besides a troop meeting, such as a hike, a backpacking or a bike trip, but it says three of them have to be in a camp, so there is a place to spend the night and ten that you organize or the structure that you help yourself you ruined I just slept it sent because the tents are easy I want say if you know how to do them 1b says that you explain the principles of Leave No Trace and tell how you practice them in a camp or excursion but it has to be different from the one used as a requirement 1c of Tenderfoot in second class, see what it says in one of camps, select a location for your patrol site and recommend to your patrol leader, explain what factors to consider when choosing a patrol site and where to pitch a tent. and again, there's more cooking stuff, but some of the things that are usually done in a real camp, as one of them says, explains when it's appropriate to use a fire for cooking or other purposes and when it wouldn't be appropriate to do so and that is 2a and there are many others that are usually done in a camp, but moving on to first class camping and first class 1a outdoor ethics since joining participate in ten separate troop/patrol activities, six of which include Overnight Camping: These ten activities do not include troop or patrol meetings in at least five of the six camps, an overnight stay, and a tent you pitch or other structure you hope to represent, so it's pretty much the same.

Same as the first class. one, except instead of five patrol activities, you need ten. A B says explain each of the principles of treading carefully and tell how you practice them when camping or going outside. It has to be different from those used for ten different 1c and second class requirements. The requirement wouldn't be like that, so what I did was fine. If you are not going to meet these requirements, you must go to at least three separate camps because the requirements say that they must be different from the others used in the other ranges, the only exception.

It's the ethic of outdoor camping that you say more since you join to participate in someone, so the group/patrol activities are separated, that doesn't mean ten more or five more, it just means in general, so for second class and means five of them or in general first class means ten in total. so you only need five more you understand what I'm saying and just like with Second Class and Tenderfoot there are also some things in the kitchen so one of them is like showing what pans, utensils and other equipment will be needed to cook and serve these meals that's in see and it literally says in a camp serve as a cook and you're supposed to prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner, so those are some things you can do, but like I said at the beginning, the first class has more specific things, so in Tools says three, see demonstrate how to tie square and diagonal ties by joining two or more poles or staves together and then when after 3d says, use those ties to make a useful camping device or structure a common camping device, so when meeting this requirement, we built a flagpole.
Now there are some things to do with fire in second class. It's see and be our R for fire, so cooking with second class tools says use the tools listed and Tenderfoot 3d requirement. you prepare tinder wood into firewood for a cooking batch fire to see says in an approved outdoor location use that tender kindling and kindling to demonstrate how to start a fire, so those are some of the things you can do in a camp related to cooking and camping most things are for camping so I hope you enjoyed this video if you did please like and turn on notifications on this channel and look for any other videos I have related to rank advancement for an Eagle Scout and me.
See you in the next video bye
