Jun 03, 2021
In this video, I'll show you step by step how you can

generate

lead

s on LinkedIn so you can start getting more appointments with your dream clients and start closing more deals. LinkedIn is one of the most effective ways to get in touch with your dream clients, but I know a lot of people try this and say it doesn't work or people don't respond to their messages, but here's the thing: there are over 700 million of people on LinkedIn and, for the most part, many high-level decision makers are checking their LinkedIn profile and checking their messages every day.

I know it for myself. I check my messages all the time. LinkedIn works. The people are there, but why do most people struggle with generating

lead

s and disaggregating them? As simple as possible, there are two main reasons: number one is that when someone wants to contact their dream client and sends a connection request, many times their potential client does not accept and number two, even if the potential client in actually accepts your connection request, they may not respond to your initial message when you request a meeting, so in this video I'll show you exactly step by step how you can connect with your dream clients, send your first messages, and schedule. more quotes so if you're excited about this video make sure to like, subscribe and turn on notifications so diving into it the first step you should do is optimize your LinkedIn profile and this is what I'm talking about I mean when you send a connection request and people don't accept the number one reason this happens is actually because your profile isn't optimized in a way that will really intrigue your potential client to accept your request, think about it like this if you're sending a random connection request to someone on LinkedIn and they have no idea who you are, how they are going to make a decision about whether or not they will take the time to connect with you and click on your profile. to look at your photo, they will see what your job is and what it is about and they will make a split second decision about whether or not you can actually add value to their lives, so if your profile is not optimized in a way that demonstrates that delivers value there is no way anyone will connect, no matter how good your messages are or how good the message you write is when you send your connection request, if your profile is not optimized, you are not going to get any results and if you send 100 connection requests or a thousand, you're still going to get the same results, nothing because you have to optimize your profile, so I go to my personal LinkedIn profile, so if I connected with someone and I wanted to reach out to them, you know, help them with sales consulting or sales coaching, which is what I do when they see my connection request and click on my profile.

More Interesting Facts About,

how to generate leads on linkedin linkedin lead generation tutorial...

It's very clear what I do, so start with the title, first of all. It starts with a picture, you should have a picture that shows that you are trustworthy, right, if it's like a picture that you know you can't really see your face or use a random picture that doesn't make sense, why? anyone connect with that, you just have to think about it logically, very clear main profile picture and it's very clear what I do, help b2b sellers schedule more meetings and close deals with modern sales training, very clear what I do when I communicate with someone.

I know exactly what they are getting and if they are interested they will accept, if not they will just ignore my connection request and I have a whole video on exactly how to optimize your LinkedIn profile link. will be somewhere on the screen and the link will be in the description, but for this video, the main lesson I want to share with you is that when you optimize your LinkedIn profile, the most important thing to remember is you. you want to show the value you bring to your potential client don't just talk about yourself and say I went to this school I worked at these places everything about me no one cares they care what you can do for them so just take a look your profile, audit it and think, okay, how am I providing value to my clients?

If not, you have to rearrange it again. I have a video at that link in the description, now the next part when it comes to getting meetings. with

linkedin

, do you want to submit the initial connection request now? When you send the connection request, there are two options. Number one is just hit the plus button and you can send a predetermined message to someone in the hope that they actually accept it now. my personal experience this really works yes if your profile is optimized in a way that it's for your prospect to send the default message whatever it is you really get results and it's much faster now if that really doesn't work or not you are getting enough results, which means you want a higher conversion rate.
Which means that when you send a connection request you want more people to accept it, you can write a more personal message, obviously it takes a little more time, but if you want to get more results, that's what you need. you have to do it, an example of a custom message request might be something like this Hi David, I saw that you've been in a digital marketing space for five years and I'm impressed with the work you've done at xyz, so you should take a look their profile, look at what kind of work they did well and then you say I thought it might make sense to connect here and as simple as that, they'll read that they'll say, "Okay, this guy really did a little homework and I'll accept your invitation to connect.
Let's look at another example. Hi David, I noticed you've been in the construction business in the Los Angeles area for five years. I'm impressed with your work and thought it might make sense to link up here. So, it's pretty much the same type of format and you can take this format and change it for your specific niche, but essentially that's all you have to do and to get this information just go to their profile and see where they work, how long they've been in the industry, what kind of work they did. , they mentioned it in the first line, it just has to be one sentence of personalization and that's it, some people might think you know automation works, but here's the thing.
Before we even get to the automation side of LinkedIn, I want to make sure that you first understand how to do this manually because if you can't you can do it manually with a high touch point and if you can, make it very specific to the person. You're not going to get results doing that, there's no way you're going to get results if you automate it properly, because when you automate things, it becomes less and less personalized if you can't do it manually, don't automate it, do it manually, get it done first. right and then automate, but once you get it right and move on to automation, what you can really do is know that there are different tools that you can use to help speed up the automation process, so that you can tell if someone is working in real marketing. real estate or finance, you can just put that in for you and you can also say, oh, if they've been working in this industry for five years, I'll automatically put that in and you'll sort of send the same message to everyone and it seems like it's very designed for that. person, but it's actually like it's automated, and the thing about automation is that you have to be very careful because there are always new tools coming out, so I don't really want to recommend any specific tool. right now because if I recommend it today it might disappear tomorrow because LinkedIn is always changing their rules about which software works which doesn't according to their API and you know there are many rules that are constantly changing, for example how many connection requests can you send? a day before LinkedIn sends you a warning and tells you that you shouldn't automate properly because that's technically against the rules, so if you break the rules, send too many messages, send too many requests, your account can potentially be banned and you have to start over so at first if you are just starting out and just trying to

generate

leads I would personally recommend doing it manually first so you understand the process and can get results once you know how to get results then I would do your research more about how you can automate LinkedIn so you don't get banned and you do it the right way and you can start to see what the rules are and know how many. connection requests, you can send how many messages you can send and things like that, and again, the tools are always changing, new LinkedIn tools are always coming out with that plan, they can do all these things for you and they can, but you know sometimes they close. or sometimes they just stop working and then they do a manual first and then they look at automation and if you want more videos on how to automate let me know in the comments if that's something you want to see and I can do a future video on that.
Now moving on, the next part when it comes to generating leads on LinkedIn is that once someone accepts your connection request, you need to send them the first message, so this is where a lot of people avoid most people who they send. a message about hey you know I do this and I can do anything for you you know let me know if you want to talk nice but here's what you need to do you need to be a little more specific or you need to ask more questions and get the answer. The person is more curious if you just dismiss all the different services you have, which a lot of people do, no one responds well because they don't know why they should respond and you have the prospect have to work too hard for it.
In order for you to have that meeting, you want to make it as easy as possible for them to say yes, so here's an example of what you can say if someone accepted your connection requests. So it can be Hi John, I noticed that you started your own creativity. agency and wanted to communicate. I help agencies like yours get more clients without spending money on ads. Is there any chance I need help with this? So with this I'm asking a question, right? I'm not asking for a meeting right away. I'm just saying, hey, this is what I do, this is the people I help, this is how I bring value, any chance you need help with this, they could say yes, maybe, so they could literally say They might say, yeah, maybe, what are you doing? do that and then you can start having a conversation and once you respond to them, you can say, Hey, you know, if you want to talk more about this, let me know what your schedule is like or feel free to schedule a time on my calendar.
You can send them a link, this is how the first technique is done. The second way to do it is, instead of asking a question, you can go straight to the call to action and if they're interested, they'll schedule a meeting. right away, so this is the one I personally prefer, it's more direct but at the same time it's faster, so I can say something like this Hi John, you probably know that one of the most challenging parts of owning your own agency creative is signing new clients now, in fact, I help creative agencies get new clients constantly without having to spend money on ads.
Some of our clients include x y and z, so if you're interested in finding out how you could do the same in your business, feel free to schedule it. a moment to talk on my calendar here and then you would put the link to your calendar, okay, so let's break this down to show you exactly how it works, so at the beginning I say, hey John, you probably know one of the most challenging. Part of owning your own creative agency is getting new clients, so what I'm specifically doing here is saying I'm tackling a problem, so if you're in the creative industry, I know that getting new clients is the hardest part.
They may be the best designers and stuff in the world, but if they can't get new clients they don't have a business, so I know that's a problem and I fix it right away. Now the next sentence is: I offer value. What I'm saying is that I help people like you get new clients without having to spend money on ads, so it's curious, you might be thinking, well, how exactly? Or you even do it well, so now they are more interested and then I am. Go ahead and say here are some of the clients that I've worked with in the past, so if there's any social proof and you know who these clients are or let's say you have some big names under your belt or maybe you have some small names.
If they're familiar with those people and they're similar to each other, then they'll say, "Oh, it's interesting that you work with these people. I know them, so maybe I want to work with you and then." the last part is the call to action, actually setting up the meeting, so I say, hey, if that makes sense, then if you're interested in learning how you can do it, you might be able to do the same thing in your business, i.e. , make more customers feel. I have the freedom to schedule a time totalk on my calendar here and I would put a link to my calendar.
They would click on a link and then they can schedule a time to talk for me for 30 minutes and I'll see if we're in a position to work together, so that's my personal option. This one is very effective for me personally and I'm sure it will work for you if you follow all the steps that we've been talking about in this video now. The next part of generating leads on LinkedIn is what happens when people don't actually respond to the first message, which a lot of people won't do well, which is why you should follow up.
My recommendation is to follow up one to three times, It really depends on your industry, but you need to understand this, whether it's one, two, or three, every time you send a follow-up, more people will respond and do more meetings successfully, so that's why you have to understand what the optimal times to follow up are. follow up, sometimes it just depends on your niche, sometimes you just follow up twice and that's it, other times you do it three times because maybe people are interested but just didn't have time to do it. Respond at that time, so you want to figure out what works best for you, but if you're just starting out, just follow up three times and see if it works.
If you know, you find that after the third follow-up people don't even do it. answer later in the third follow-up and then shorten it to two yes and you can continue from there now in the follow-up this is what you're going to say, you're going to say something like you just want to reiterate what you're talking about, you don't have to say anything new information, just a sentence or two to share, remind the prospect what you're offering so they can say hello, John wanted to follow up to see if it still makes sense. to talk about how we could help you with xyz, we like to get new clients or whatever, that's right, if so let me know what your schedule looks like, so with this one I'm saying, hey, tell me what your schedule is. or I can say something like feel free to schedule a time to talk on my calendar here and I'll put my link back right there so that's pretty much your follow up and then if you want to follow up two or three times you basically say that's what same thing but you paraphrase it and then you know you get a different response, you don't want to copy and paste it, you want to paraphrase it so it sounds like you know you're actually making an effort to get to know the person and number five, let's move on to LinkedIn marketing.
Okay, when it comes to LinkedIn outbound lead

generation

where you reach out to other people, you don't have to try very hard when it comes to marketing, you don't have to go viral, what you want to do is understand that when you connect with people, people will start to see your content in their feed, so I'm going to go ahead and go to my profile and I'll show you what I mean, as you can see here, I'm on my profile right now, just scroll down, I have all these people with the ones I'm connected to and it's basically my feed.
All the connections I've built over the years I'm going to see what they're talking about on my feed every day, so basically what you want to do is you don't need to go viral, you just need to create content for the people you already know. you connected, so I'll give you an example, let's say you're starting out on LinkedIn, you have let's say 10 connections, they're just your friends and then you say okay, well I want to start using this to get clients. So what you do is you find all these people who are potentially a good fit for your product or service and then what you do is you connect with them, they accept and then you send them a good first message and maybe they don't respond. to that first message, but every day you post some type of content on LinkedIn so that when they see their feed they still remember you and say, oh, that's that Patrick, that message, oh, that's a pretty interesting video, oh , that's a pretty interesting perspective on the industry, right?
Basically, you keep posting these videos to your audience that you custom create by connecting with them one by one personally, so let's go to my LinkedIn account right now, I have about 8,900 followers, that is, you. I know a lot of them are personally connected to me and I can direct message them anytime so a couple of times a week I post a video on LinkedIn which are my YouTube videos and they do pretty well so this one has 16 me like. a thousand over a thousand views this one has a thousand views uh 2000 views 2 500 views uh 30 likes and you can also see that when I click on this I can see exactly who likes my videos, not only that, but if I go to my page profile I can see who has viewed my profile so I think this is the last 90 days so if I click here I can see who these 2,400 people are that have viewed my profile okay why is this important because When people see your content they sometimes want to be reminded and click on your profile again and wonder: what did this guy do again?
I'm kind of interested and when you start to see these people interact with your content, whether they like to see your profile, it gives you the opportunity to message them directly so you can say "hey, you know, I noticed that you know, I like my video on anything I would like to see if it would make sense to talk about how I could help you.” xyz, so it's just another way to engage with your prospects so that you're not just sending them a code message, but all of a sudden you're building more authority and you're becoming more influential in the space and it could be that you're just a little bit influencer, true, but at least you're doing something and you don't need a huge audience to do this, even if you only have a couple thousand connections, that's already enough to start getting some likes and some views on your content.
When it comes to knowing what type of content you can post, you can make videos yourself. I'm very good with videos, that's why I like making videos. You can also write long texts, so let's say you enter my profile in each video. What I post comes with a long perspective on that video for people to read if they don't want to watch the full video. You can share a quote. You can share an image. Share what you are doing. I know there are so many different ways to slice and dice it when it comes to creating content on LinkedIn.
You can simply look at what other people are doing in your industry and see what works best for you. Each one is different. You could be a good writer. you can be good with videos, you can be good just sharing other people's quotes, it really depends, but you definitely want to post at least a couple of times a week, but if you can post every day, that's great too, that's how works. how you use a combination of outbound lead

generation

combined with marketing so you can increase your response rate, increase your authority with the people you connect with, and start generating more meetings with your dream clients, so if you enjoyed this video, make sure to like it.
