yourvideo quality could still be rubbish and who wants that too i just want to point out smart
phones now cost thousands of dollars which is actually more than many dslr cameras cost so you have a thousand dollar tool on
yourhands so you better get the most out of it and the cameras on these devices are so good don't underestimate the power of your
phonejust because you always use it you're using good so let's get into the tips the first tip obviously is to have a phone with a high quality camera so a hd camera iphones have hd cameras androids have hd cameras just make sure that its the phone has a quality camera and you can go to settings and change something to make sure your hd is even better so what i did was go to settings and scrolled down to camera and the i changed to shoot 1080p at 60 frames per second i was shooting at 30 frames per second but i changed it to 60 frames per second just to increase the quality a bit the second thing to do is clean your lens ok clean your eyelids , get all that grease that makeup that face lotion all that stuff builds up on our lenses and a lot of times we forget to clean it so just make sure you clean your lens a bit before you start get some lens cloth and clean it. clean all that dirt because a clean lens will make the video look clean the third thing to do is figure out how you're going to mount your camera or support it if we're realist because you don't have gear I'm assuming you don't have a tripod so you'll have to be very creative.

Well I'm going to have to get you some books or a box or a big stack of something and prop your phone up on that so you can know it's got a nice clear frame and just make sure there's not a lot of st uff in the background I know that got a little bit of not downplaying don't worry but make sure the background is clear and um you've got a good frame a good thing to think about is the rule of thirds so you know you might not you want to be kind of dead center in the middle but just a little to the side makes it look a little more high quality so if you want to sit to the side and be in that top third of the camera you're good step number four always shoot horizontally never never never okay never do this shoot your video vertically it's going to create those disgusting black blocks on the side when you upload it to anything the
onlyplace vertical video thrives somewhere like instagram stories or snapchat , but apart If you don't mind that it will create two big black blocks on the side of your video and it just doesn't take up the full screen it's the first indicator that you recorded this on your phone and it looks very un
professionalthe fifth thing to do is sit in front of some natural light, sit in front of the window and pay attention to the sun peak times so in the morning I know the sun is peaking at the back of my house which is kind of where it is my office desk area, so I personally don't like shooting video early in the morning because the sun shines and washes everything out, so it's good to pay attention to points of the day where the light is fairly neutral. it's a little cloudy or if it's not super super sunny put your camera as close to the window as possible so i wasn't sitting there i usually sit there because i have my ring light and natural light comes in but on this case i'm not using any gear so i'm literally right in front of the window another thing you can do when you're shooting with your phone in natural light is adjust the exposure on your camera now this definitely applies for iphones i'm not sure if androids have this feature but if you just find the frame where the video is in focus and swipe up you can change the amount of light and exposure and actually lock the exposure so that when you move, the exposure doesn't change at one point it's like super light and then you move an inch and then it gets really really dark you don't want that to happen so you can lock the exposure just by keeping your finger tapped on the c square for a long time until you say it's about blocking step six. audio quality now of course you want to project your voice whenever you're making video but we're not using a lavalier mic, boom mic, any kind of microphone so we have to rely completely on our camera mic and luckily these new cameras also have great microphones so it's not really compromising audio, but you just want to make sure you're really close to the camera.
Many people want to record videos. good setup and they're all the way back here trying to talk to the video so they can see all the cute little outfit but the audio is we're too far away at this point so make sure you're up close and personal and can we hear it you're about two or three feet from the camera because you know you can't stress these cameras too much no it's still a phone and of course there are other fun things you can do with phone cameras that you don't have to do. just sit and talk you can take great videos with a phone you can take time lapses with your phone you can even record slow motion play around with these features they are there because they are capable of very high quality video so make sure this thousand investment seven hundred and two thousand dollars is well worth your money and could possibly generate some more money for you so that you can invest and buy that camera or that light or whatever type of equipment you want but I will say this if you are thinking you know how to take a raise level by just using your phone I would definitely recommend shopping for lighting and audio before you jump in and buy a new camera buy a cheap light kit for fifty bucks on amazon or if you want to splurge and buy a ring light for 150 to 200 I think which is a more worthwhile investment and will amplify phone video as well as a good microphone just so you know your video a bit more because it's not really about that much of the camera as what it is. about just making sure that video looks great and audio and lighting are really very important so good lighting makes for good video no matter what kind of camera you have if you have great lighting your video will be you'll look much better naturally other than that i think that's it if you have any additional questions hi your girl let me know be sure to subscribe to this channel um leave me a comment let me know if you've started a youtube channel if you're new to youtube what's up some little gadgets cool ones you've been using to amplify your video content and you know if you're thinking of buying a new camera I'm aware of that too so what kind of camera do you think of in my mind? what i'm saying i want to know because i'm nosy i think that's what it's about don't focus so much on the camera i know it's very tempting to buy a new camera because you're about to start this new channel or make some new videos but i guarantee you will he's got to do the learning curve of learning a dslr plus learning how to use the mic and lights and all this stuff and he's ordering all this new stuff for when it's time to shoot the video since you're going to get tired because you're trying to figure out all these things, so make it easy for yourself.
Use the phone. Maybe buy a new light or buy a new microphone to start and see how. that affects the quality of your video and just take it step by step you don't have to get it all at once unless you can afford it because if you did get it that's ok let me know if this video was helpful and also comment below if are there any other tips or tricks you may have to create high-quality video content just using an iPhone or an Android of any kind. of smartphone and I think that's all until next time, I love you and I'll see you later peace
