HOW I DO MAKEUP ON MATURE SKIN PART 2! | Hindash

May 29, 2021
hi everyone it's

hindash

welcome back to my channel today's video is great because i got caroline back in the studio to do a second

part

of the first look we did so i got a lot of questions saying can you do the same look but with less

makeup

, less foundation, so that's what we did, we skipped the foundation and just went with concealer, but we kept the eyes very focused and enhanced and obviously with this look you can build coverage, you can tone it down, just i give you kind of a reference point for where to go so yeah this is the look i created on caroline and as always don't forget to follow me on instagram if you want to see what comes next because i post a lot of my stuff on instagram first and as always don't forget to subscribe below and hit that notification bell if you want to see what's coming next and let's get into the video so here we have the beautiful caroline who is a friend of mine and you've seen it on my channel before and the video t We got such amazing feedback the first time we did but this time I decided to change a few things so I went back to Caroline and I'm going to talk to you about everything so let's start with

skin

care and i'm going to use the codelli mist beauty elixir just to give her some power and prep her

skin

for skincare, then for my first layer of hydration i'm taking the good molecules hyaluronic acid serum and i'm going to apply that all over the face and rub it in now this is kind of a step where i can find out what the client's skin type is and can feel the texture or any dryness but i've worked on caroline before and i'm pretty familiar with her skin so that I'm taking my time to massage it and basically relax her and then I'm going to take these to deflate and wake up the skin and these are basically cryogenic rollers I don't know if I'm saying that right but you put them in the fridge or and they stay really c old and when you apply them to the skin they help with circulation and they de-puff and stimulate the skin I love these because my skin reacts so well to the cold I really need that to de-puff and make my skin feel firmer so thought i'd give caroline a little treat and yeah these feel so good only thing is they're really big to get under the eyes but i think you can fix them but i love these because my eyelids get really puffy so something like this really helps me obviously not every day but as a nice treat if i have a night out or a long day where i'm shooting something it's definitely a treat treat and then i'm going to have the oola henriksen banana bright eye cream under eyes and just apply it to the underside of the eyes working a thin layer and adding more if i need it but i really love this eye cream where the i have been using it myself for quite some time now as a serum i am taking the dior capture total l super potent serum and apply it all over my skin and just rub it in and massage it in.

I'm not really going to give you a detailed review of these skin care products because I haven't really tried them, I'm just using them on caroline for hydration and skin prep and then I'm going to follow that up with the total face cream. of capture from the drawer and just sealing everything with that final coat which is the thickest and just dabbing it on I'm starting with an eye primer and I'm taking the Mac Pro Longwear paint pot and setting it under which is the one I always use that has a very peachy shade so it neutralizes any discoloration or darkness and at the same time of course it preps your eyelid for eyeshadow so this is a great eyeshadow primer and i really love it i wear it all the time and i just apply it with a fluffy brush this is a wayne goss brush and i put a little under her lower lash line because she has a little bit of redness there too not w for my base technique , i'm taking laura mercier's flawless fusion concealer and i'm using a shade that's a little bit warmer a little bit more yellow just to neutralize a little bit of that redness and this is in the shade 2w and i just put that lightly in areas which are a little washed out under the eyes around the chin to the nose but on the forehead basically it's a very very light concealer and it has really beautiful coverage so it doesn't feel heavy on the skin so just put it on areas where you feel like you have a little bit of pigmentation a little bit of areas that you want to lift and that's going to be my first coat so tapping and blending that I don't want to rub too much because I don't want to take remove that coverage because otherwise it's a bit useless what we did like i want to stipple the brush on top and that will really push that coverage and at the same time blend everything seamlessly and if you feel like the layers you need done it wasn't enough you've missed some spots became a little uneven just add a little more concealer.

I'm going to use that more to lighten and lift and highlight the face, so put it under the eyes and now we're getting into the highlighting technique, under the eyes, down the nose a little bit on the chin and areas. where I basically want to feature so on the jaw line Caroline has a beautiful jaw line and again I focus that around the eyes and really blend it and blend it but in the center of the forehead Caroline has a bruise , so I'm going to take the laura.

Mercier secret camo concealer and I'm mixing two colors and I'm going with the peachier shades to neutralize and just apply that concealer on top and blend it in this concealer is pretty dry so it's nice to work with my fingers and layer do this with a brush so you get the full effect of the cream blush. What's new? I'm going to be using my nudestix nudies matte in the body language shade and it's a very beautiful pink color and I'm just applying it to the top of my cheekbones and taking it to the apples so not all the way on the apples because keep in mind that i neutralized that redness so i dont really want to bring it back but just really high on the cheekbones so it creates that nice lift but again give she has that nice healthy glow like shes been out and just took some sun a bit of blush now this is another big difference from the first video i did i didn't powder it then and many of you thought it was super bright but it was the studio lights but i agree on camera it's good really powder the skin in certain ways so im taking the hourglass failed translucent powder and putting it on both areas this is a great powder for dry skin and im just applying u a very small amount and just touching it and pushing it into the skin focusing on the areas that would look shiny.

I am really using too little product so i dip the brush into the excess powder and just dab it all over and that way when i press it. your skin only needs the smallest amount of powder it needs for brows. I'm going to take my hourglass brow gel. I really love it. I'm going to be filling in the smaller gaps with a brow pencil later and to do that I'm just taking advantage of my brow pencil and again just filling in the little gaps in her brows I'm not going to overdo it because again she has great brows and i really think they are a big

part

of caroline's look for the eyeshadows i'm taking the fenty snap shadows and i'm taking the first palette which is number one and i dip into that lighter shade and just highlight the brow bone and putting everything so that when I go in with a crease color, it doesn't get patchy and it blends really well, touching up a bit of that on the lid as well and then I'm going to go in with the warmer palette number five and dive into that light peach and just run. that too all over the lid to give a healthier kind of blush to the lids without making it look orangey for a brown pencil i am taking the Fenty Fly Pencil Long Wear Eyeliner Pencil in large truffle and you guys little I'm slowly trying to find alternatives to my nars mambo eye pencil it's been hard it's been hard nothing comes close this is a beautiful pencil it's a gel so it will really glide on really well but it doesn't give me that sharp edge that I need like that I always have to use a brush with this, I mean, I also use a brush with Nars Mambo, but I can create a very thin, sharp line with Nars Mambo because it's a wooden pencil that I can sharpen, whereas this one gets very rounded very fast but it's a beautiful formula look ked beautiful and there's a red one that I really want to do a look with and I'm going to set it and blend it with a brown shadow like I always do just to give us a softer look and what I want to do is give it more dimension so I went in with the shimmer shades and I went over the liner starting from the inner corners and that gives you a little bit of shine when you open your eyes so I started with the light. champagne shade and I'm going to build more of the copper color so now I'm going to take the copper bronze color and put it in the center so it goes from champagne to copper to brown but it's very very subtle because we're going to add lashes.
I'm going to outline all of that with a very thin layer of eyeliner. I don't want it to look like eyeliner. and fluttering for the mascara i'm going to get my mascara charlotte tilbury full fat lashes guys this is on one of my favorite mascaras i love this one and the one from l'oreal lash paradise or paradise ecstatic i don't know they are called different things in different countries but to me they are very similar and i love them for individual lashes i am i am going to take my ardell individual lashes in medium i always always always always wear these and i love them and to moisturize her lips before lipstick i am going to take the

makeup

ultra hd loop booster for always and i think this is in the shade one is the tinted one and i am just applying it all over the lips as a lip prep just to keep her lips nice and hydrated for the blush, bronzer and highlighter.
I'm picking up my hourglass palette again. This is the ghost edition I think and I really love these hourglass palettes when they come out I end up wearing them pretty much every time so I put the blush shades on my cheeks and it doesn't look matte it just gives you that nice healthy glow from within and that is why i really love these and dipping into the br onzer shade and just giving it a nice full tan for the lips. I am starting with the charlotte tilbury pillow talk lip liner and just outlining her lips and filling them in very lightly and then to add a little more dimension i am taking. the mac lipstick on stone and just outlining the cupid's bow and the bottom of the lip and this gives it more contour and dimension so this is a great way to trick your lips into making them look a little more filled in creating that realistic shade and then for the lipstick i'm going to take my mac hind dash lipstick which is the lipstick i did with mac but this is my lab swatch this was before i came out and i am applying with a brush and just touching it i incorporate and blend and diffuse that color, which is how i like to apply it, it gives you that beautiful, beautiful, healthy flush.
Caroline is going to let her hair down and then I can see what's missing what I want to add it's always good to be ready in what you're going I'm going to go out and assess the makeup if you want to remove something or if you want to add a little bit more and for Caroline just I let her squeeze her eyes together just to bring it all together and that's the final look. I really hope you enjoyed this um let me know what you think and how you think this compares to the other video.
