was born in 1962 into a family of 10 siblings raised in alabama vincent gained a notorious reputation at a young age by regularly fighting with other boys, he was so flamboyant and crazy that they began calling him the wild boar during his teenage years which was shortened and he was born the Beau's nickname.Athletics was the only thing that could save Beau from his troubled youth, keeping him captivated by competition instead of problems. He won two state titles in the decathlon event, dominating the competition so poorly that he decided not to participate in the latter event both years due to his large points advantage as a senior. the alabama state championship in the one hundred meters, 200 meters and 400 meters hurdles, high jump and long jump on the baseball diamond, he tied the national record for home runs with 20.

All-Star Game Valuable. That same year he had the best season of his NFL career, falling just shy of 1,000 yards, and winning Pro Bowl honors in 1989 put Bo Jackson in a class of his own.
He remains the only player to have been an All-Star in both MLB and the NFL that season. Beau hit a home run in four straight at-bats, tying the record, but sadly. The tragedy occurred in 1991 in a playoff game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Beau was hit awkwardly by a defender and dislocated his hip to remain in the game. Beau popped the hip back into place causing more long-term damage to the blood vessels. Bo's left hip was soon unable to receive a blood supply and bone tissue died in the process, this left fans and the arc devastated. He abruptly retired from the NFL right as he hit his primary arc.
