More Interesting Facts About,

Dollar Tree I started by removing all the 3D pieces on the front. I thought those little bunny feet on the front would be adorable to save and maybe paint little baby feet on there and you could recycle them into a diaper cake or maybe a DIY. baby gift so I thought it would be something really fun to keep. I love saving all those little pieces of wood from my Dollar Tree signs, so I started by filling in my nail holes with some putty or wood putty and then I'm going to give this a couple of nice coats of paint from my son who really spoke in white color make me play it will always be there is no doubt that the last time I was at Dollar Tree they had some nice new stickers for the laundry room or they were new for my store but if you can't get out and get them, you can definitely write something in a Word document or do something in PicMonkey or just print out a free printable that you find online or just use the Dollar Tree stickers, but I think any kind of black stickers that come out of this white Me love these little stickers this one says laundry room leave your drawers here I thought it was too cute to put in the laundry room I wanted this sign to be more of a centerpiece in my laundry room my The walls are gray in there so I thought I thought the white board and the stained board would come off, so I went to the garage and picked out a board.

I'll leave the dimensions in the description box, but I just put up the sign. on top and I cut it a little longer than my Dollar Tree sign and I feel like this just improved its quality and made it so cute and I loved it. I'm just using walnut stain that I already had and it has an orange tone which I'm not crazy about but the only thing that was really exposed was the edges and it looked a lot darker on the edges so I was really happy with it and I think I frames beautifully afterwards.

I applied the dye there, let it sit for several minutes, probably 10 to 15 minutes, and then I'm just using it. I used a plastic bag over my hands so I didn't have to wear my gloves, but I was able to take a paper towel and just wiped off all the excess stain and then I took this outside and let it dry completely, so thanks, what I'm doing doing is just hot gluing my Dollar Tree sign on there, this literally was like four to five steps and super simple, but it is such a beautiful

farmhouse

laundry sign that I know you would pay top

dollar

if you bought it in a store .
Dollar

tree

decals are definitely one of my favorite items to create because it's the easiest. way to put a font on a sign, that's how it came together and I think it's absolutely beautiful. I know creative people like you will love it because I've really enjoyed these classes, so I'll put that link below. Let's go ahead and jump into the video because I have more beautiful laundry rooms and crafts, so I found Another set of beautiful Dollar Tree stickers that I have been dying to use and I needed a sign with a pretty background. I wanted them to really stand out but have some texture so it didn't look like just another cheap Dollar Tree sign, if that's what it is. makes sense, so I'm using one of these little wooden signs.
These are actually larger than the wooden signs I normally receive, so I was very excited to find them. They had the little tabs cut off, so I needed to find a way. I could cover all of that and I couldn't paint this well, so I want it to look like it has a little frame around the edges, so I start with a little bit of my dark gray elephant color paint in the Waverly chalk. paint and give it a couple of coats around the edges and I wanted to do that first, that way I could go ahead and fill it in the bottom with white, although I'm going to use some wood slats on this.
I wanted a nice bright white background so it wouldn't be too harsh and dark. If my ribbon lines weren't exactly perfect, the white paint on the background was shiny and hid all those mistakes, so I'm using some of these huge popsicle sticks. from Walmart I love having them on hand and I'm just measuring how big they need to be and then I cut them out with a pair of scissors and then I use them as a pattern to cut out the rest. I'm one of them were a little too big so I had to cut them off but I got about the same size.
I ended up finding seven of the popsicle sticks, but I went ahead and painted a few more just to be safe in case one cracked or not. working and I went ahead and painted these white and ended up doing two coats so they were a really bright white and didn't show any of the wood. These fit perfectly, which was perfect and, like I say, a couple of them. I had to trim again but I wanted them to be as close to the edge as possible so you couldn't see any imperfections and then I held the others in place while I took them out one at a time and then glued them on. down so they don't move because they all needed to be in their exact place or that was going to fit like I said I needed to cover the holes in the bottom so I'm using them but you can definitely use a marker if you have a solid sign so that these are the adorable stickers I found new at Dollar Tree as if to say: I'm not going to Dollar Tree now.
I'm just using what's in my stash, but I found these before us. I finished quarantine and thought they were adorable. I love the font on these but most of all I love these little pictures of the washing machine and the little laundry basket so I thought they were adorable they would make a beautiful sign so after I fixed it up. wash and dry because I had it inside out, I changed it and then I found where I could put all these little pictures at first I didn't think I would use the huge little machine but I thought it was too cute not to and I'm so happy because I think that it's what makes the sign so cute so I like to cut them out and see where they're going to go so I cut them as close to the letters as possible and I can rearrange them and see. where they need to be and then I can filter them out and leave them, but I thought it was so cute wash, dry, fold, repeat, that's kind of the story of my life right now, we're doing a bunch of dishes and a bunch of clothes.
So this is perfect to put in my laundry room and this is how it turned out. I don't have much shelf space so I taped ribbon to the back of this and hung it over one of my cabinets that I don't have. I didn't spend much time and thought it was adorable hanging there and a perfect way to

decor

ate these little cabinet doors. The next thing I wanted to do is find a small, neat place where you could put the fluff. I took up a hobby. Lobby Basket last year and I turned it into a lint basket and I loved using it and I know a lot of you really liked it and wanted one but they were hard to find because it was something that had been licensed so I wanted to be able to bring you something that everyone can make and especially since it's only a

dollar

so I found this basket at Dollar Tree and I thought it had the perfect pattern there and the perfect shape, it's really thin and tall so it would hold a lot of lint and fit a little against the wall and it's very lightweight so if you want to hang this it has a lot of holes so later if you want to add a piece of burlap on the inside so none of your lint could stick out but I didn't.
I didn't do that on video, but it's something I'll definitely do later, so the first thing I wanted to do is give it a more galvanized look, so I used some of my elephant colored chalk. paint that is dark gray. I started by applying this around the handle to really get that texture. I also thought I would have to apply it all over the basket, but there was so much texture there that it didn't really show, so I just brushed it on there, it was so much easier and I got so much more coverage to go all over.
Yes, I ended up having to keep applying the rubbing effect on the slick plastic areas, around the top where it didn't have one. lots of texture and then I showed you the bottom where I brushed it to blend in with everything so I wanted a little wooden circle to hang from this. I found these wooden ones, I think they were called wreath ornaments or wreath charms from Dollar Tree a couple of months ago and bought about ten of them and I'm sad they didn't have more. I thought there were a lot of tin ones, but I'm reviewing them because they are very fun to use, so I just covered this.
It's cute as is if you want to use it as is or in a wreath or something, but I wanted a sign that said fluff so you would know exactly and other people would know exactly. what this was and especially maybe encouraging my husband or something to put the clothes here, but I just traced a wooden spool I had with a Sharpie marker to get the black circle and then with my free hand the word lint , you could definitely use stickers, but I wanted a curlier font that would fill the entire circle and I thickened the lines a little so they looked a little better and then I pulled out some greenery from Hobby Lobby, a garland I had and put them in directions opposites and I thought it would be really cute if this little fluff sign hung from a piece of jade thread with a couple of small wooden beads on top, so I weaved them together.
These are just from a Hobby Lobby, I wouldn't. be a garland, but you can definitely order them online and then I tied them to the top of this basket. Your future comes. I wish I had purchased more of these baskets because I also think this same design would work perfectly hanging as well as stacking. one on top of the other hanging on the wall to hold like folders on top of your desk or papers especially since we all homeschool so I bought two of these and one of them got stepped on and cracked but I so wish I could do that. get more because like I said, I think this would be beautiful in an office, but that's how the fluff turned out.
I think it's beautiful. I love the little wooden beads and how they make them pop out of there, but I just think. it's so cute, for now I just put this on my dryer, but I'll definitely try mounting it on the wall. The next project will be a set of these three blocks. I searched my house and found three identical wooden blocks. Same size, I had a couple of these left over from Valentine's Day, but I couldn't find the third one, so I had to dig deep into my craft stash to find it, but I was so excited thatI found three of the same size and I'm going to make these three as a set, but you can definitely feel free to make just one if you have a shelving area in your laundry room, but these were so adorable and the way they look, I love them so much I Lo first thing I'm going to do is I'm going to use some silver coated chalk paint, which is a light gray color, and I'm going to brush on the edges, the front and the inside of this, I'm going to add these little blocks, I'm going to do some brown . truffle paint over the top with a dry brush and then I'll take a piece of sandpaper to make it scratch a little and look more like a wooden frame after I was happy with the look of the edges and they looked like little frames .
I painted the interior white. I'm actually like I say making a set of three and I would have gone ahead and just painted all the backings if I was crafting normally, but I have another decal that I'm using. Surprise, these are so much fun to use. That's a laundry room one, so Dollar Tree made it with the laundry room decals. I love them, but I was so excited to put this one in one of those little squares that fit perfectly. I was worried I would have to cut one out. of the lines to make it fit, but everything fit together very well and I was inspired by that little t-shirt hanging on the hanger.
I thought it was so adorable and I thought it would be fun to make a bigger one because I needed something to put these three blocks on so I go ahead and press them down and then I'll paint the other two with a black background so they can contrast each other and I'll leave Let some of the white words stand out. So a lot of times I'm used to using chalk paint, which is like a thicker substance, and I just put it on my project and mix it all together. I forget how thin acrylic paint is and every time I try to put it on the In this project I get way too much paint so I had to dip a little bit of each of these because it was too much, but I will definitely use it on other projects I'm going to do today and I try to Use a smaller brush to go around the edges of the white, but on the black it blends really well, so I went ahead and used a larger brush.
I loved how the two darker blocks were at the bottom and then the white one. I was at the top so I wanted to make 5 cents a load. I thought it would be really cute, so I needed a white 5, so I ended up doing two layers on one of these sticky signs on the number 5, so I use that on this one. I had to freehand write the little penny sign, but to each load at the bottom had some white felt stickers from Walmart and these were the perfect size so I went ahead and added them to the bottom starting from the last letter to try to get it as even as possible so I wouldn't run out of space and That's how simple it was to get these words, but like I say, feel free to use whatever sticker you used, a cricket or a silhouette, if that's what you have or feel free. print something or this is definitely something you can do freehand and this last one is the one I was so inspired by with that little t-shirt on a hanger.
I wanted mine to look like a little t-shirt so I added the sleeves, this is just something I cut out of a chocolate box, a piece of cardboard I had and I'm using it as a pattern so I loosely cut it out. I wasn't drawing it or anything, so I wanted this one that I'm actually cutting out. I wanted the sign to be as symmetrical as possible, so I traced one side, turned it over and traced the same side so they were even, and then here's just a piece of white cardstock that I'm cutting it out of.
I wanted it to come out of there, so I'm using my little black stitch method around the edges. I think that makes it look really homemade and cute. At first I was just going to use the shirt, but I got really excited at the thought of making my own hanger, so I took a piece of thick wire I had on hand and shaped it into a small hanger. At first I thought it looked like a real hangar, but then after trying to attach it to the top, I was like it's a little missy shaped, but that's okay.
I know you're not going to see the bottom so I went ahead and glued it to the sign and then glued the little white cardstock t-shirt on top and that's how easy it was. If we team up you could do a bunch of different options and make them more personalized, but I think this is a beautiful, pretty piece to add to your laundry room decor and if you made it to the end, I have a special little gift for you. I thought a lot of people would ask to see the full laundry room reveal, but this is what it looks like.
I just made the crafts and took beauty photos of them. I couldn't leave my dining room the way I want it. I still have laundry done and I'm running out of time to make a beautiful reveal, so this is what you'll get. Thank you all so much for joining me today and I'm really excited to see which of these projects you like best. I love them so much that I think the little t-shirt on the hanger is just adorable. My daughter was so impressed that I made a hanger. She's seven years old and she said to me, Mom, can you make hangers for my living dolls or my American Girl doll clothes? so I think that's my next project but I'll have to do it so they keep me very busy and I love doing it, we all love crafting together and that's why I love crafting so much.
I feel like it brings people together. I have wonderful memories of making crafts with my family and it is something I want to raise with my daughters.
