think this is a very cool kind of design i really like it the only thing i don't like and i agree with other guys mentioning that on the manual says don't overtighten it because you might damage your motherboard for that reason i was also using this very expensive screwdriver to make sure i didn't but one thing i would like to mention is that with speed 2 i was getting very consistent results as well i did those three months basically got identical readings from tests with the heat eliminator i experienced a little more issues depending on how it is mounted the difference in temperatures can be quite dramatic so i managed to mount it the best way and it is perform ing was running pretty good, but I also managed to ride a few times when performance wasn't that great and actually it was my first time riding and testing, the temperatures they were a bit bad, even worse than speed, so I'm good, we have to go. for eka in my head i was almost out of speed already so that will be my next block when i use those parts of my pc because now im borrowing to dazzle to do this test and then i ride the block the second time and i have a great drop in temps and it's like what the heck and when i ride the third time its damage wasn't as good as the second time but a bit worse so it's important that i ride it correctly it seems like the best result is you have to get the block down very evenly so it's more crucial than ever to tighten the thumb screws and the cross pattern to get the block down very evenly if it's a little temp not flat it comes out of the wok and I could actually see in printing thermal paste so if the thermal paste squashes perfectly between the cpu block and the cpu itself then very evenly tuck that when you get the best result if you have a little bit of plac a bit of extra servo in either corner means the block was a bit misaligned which all seems not quite right so that's important to you and my recommendation to any of you going to use the heat killer for a retest of platform and make sure you mount it correctly if you think the temperature is not perfect it was remounted so you can get a big positive difference doing it.

Now what we need to mount Heat Killer 4 on the new motherboard watercolor was pretty fast this time they are not the fastest company in my experience but this time they did issue a new back plate and spring set very quickly and washers that feed the new kind of deck this is the old back plate we had you can see the distance between the bolts it was shorter so the bare plate is smaller and here we have a little bit longer back plate big one that goes on the back of the lj 1700 type of motherboard. Also, if we compare the springs and washers between the old version and the updated version, you can see that the springs are much more. stronger stronger and the washers are just huge I don't know 1.5 millimeters probably something like this so you can see there's a pretty dramatic difference so if you already have this block in your possession because this isn't a new model, it's been built for quite a while and while other competitors may change their models two, once or twice, this one still works well and is very conservative in design so you may already have it and in this case you need to buy two things you need to buy a new back plate and part number 1014 and you also need to buy a set of screws and washers and part number 14079 so these are your two items that you need to buy and then you can use his blog on the new deck if you're buying a scratch heatsink basically all you need to make sure you buy the version that's already rated for lj 1700 you're usually writing a name on this c aso you will get the proper set of springs and washers with your block traditionally for cold water backlight never included i don't know they consider this item optional and you have to buy it separately which confuses a lot of customers which is why i have a lot of customers who buy blogs and then we go back and buy the backplate so if you're new to this .

What the players remember is separate in my personal opinion, it is better to have it and also the watercolor itself. Consider this optional. I think it's better to have it to have a proper weight distribution on the motherboard. It's safer this way. Maybe it's paranoia but just me and also with a new type of motherboard especially for asus you can at least see that you drill two sets of holes so you have one hole that works well for old coolers and you have one set of holes that h specified by Intel so in this regard I think the back plate does even more roll to distribute the weight correctly so I recommend using it now when it won't be in the way with mounting oh one more thing I didn't mention in The past, at least for all the bills I've done before, you can actually mount the heat killer like the long sides on the sides and the short sides on top, like this, but also if you have any reason to route the tube, you want to rotate it 90 degrees and mount it like this also does this work with this motherboard, no you can't do it, you have so much stuff around the socket that will actually interfere so the only way to mount the block correctly is like the proper upright position without turning 90 degrees and they really do it in a very clever way on this particular motherboard I was able to mount it at 90 degrees and it looks perfectly fine but it kept me from tightening everything to the last fraction of a millimeter so I had a bad connection i turned on the pc and it will hit like 100 degrees right away and i like whats going on but basically pay attention to how you mount it its important luckily i didnt damage anything by mounting it incorrectly and hitting some components on the board base, at least how it sounds. works fine so now about the temperatures in the last video i have some feedback that people wanted to know let me back up a bit so how i have used a problem i reckon the best result you get is not no matter what kind of voltages if I can get lower voltages with this block good for me and six obviously if you have low voltage you get lower temperatures so some people say oh I don't like we want to have the same voltages like between different blocks and then we can see the cooling performance.

Personally, I don't think so. If you have any crops. in my table now i'm including a voltage that was recorded as the best result for the original speed which was 1255 volts and we'll see what kind of temperatures we get but i'll also include the best voltages i can achieve overall so obviously the original speed it's not a bit the best block or still is. It works, but it's not the best for this type of setup, so now we're basically fighting between speed 2 and hit killer. I got a very similar result. I would like to tell you that the stable voltage was basically the same 1.26. the heat killer when it was speed i couldn't even make it it's like hanging right away with a heat killer i was able to run a bit on a lower voltage but it's never stable so naturally i discounted it so we have the same type of it voltage between speed two and hit killer four and temps as well basically technically I have a fraction of a degree heat killer dropped a bit but no it's not a rubber environment so basically we can say they work the same identical to the a little change i think why i think the killer had a bit of an edge to my big surprise hikilo always hires a restrictive lockdown period but it was somehow a marginally higher flow than speed two so that with speed one we got the seven liters 87 with the heat killer i got eight liters zero eight it's a bit but still it's probably that fraction of degrees that allows me to go to lower voltages at least os for a bit and uh for the balls for the lowest voltage i achieved and also for the voltage it reaches the original speed speed 2 and the killer acts in a similar way so we have a very similar result so the only difference in this particular case i think between two it's your brand preference and that's our design so you get more or less the same result but it's good for those of you who have hit the killer four if you don't look for it so no problem just get the back plate and it works fine if you feel like you each have something. again so speed 2 is a great type of choice other than that I just don't see any reason as to why you select one or two because technically you get the hard results after multiple type of multiple mount tests if you do the correct mount While I already mentioned that this heat can be a bit more finicky than realistic, it's true that you'll basically achieve the same result, so that's the end of that little test.
Next, I want to move to step n type of the block that Is considered the same category as optimus? I don't have optimus so I'm not going to test that but sadly there's absolutely nothing available for lj 1700 so I try to mount it with all um lj 1200 . or any kind of 1550 51 hardware and we'll see how it goes and hopefully we're at least close to the original speed one because again the springs are wrong and the mounting is wrong but we'll see how it goes but that will be the next episode and I hope it all works out and we keep progressing with different models.
