The amount of work I put into just adding a couple of new scenes to this game is mind-blowing, but it was sorely needed for the new content I wanted to do for The Campaign, which is completely lore-friendly Outfit Updates. It's technically the best weapon in the game by a pretty wide margin, but it can't be used. This is the game design equivalent of a brain hemorrhage and I'm very proud of that. design for a moment here one of my main goals with this update was to expand the amount of content in the campaign cursed halo was originally just a pack of silly weapons and not much else but in this version i have done my best to add a wide variety of new enemy types and events for the campaign, some of them have better designs than others, for example here we have the crafted troops of the Pact, the soldiers have bows, crossbows and splash potions and will usually harass you from a distance while the jackals have a diamond sword and shield and will rush you down and stab you and the elites have a fire crossbow and diamond ax and will just bombard you with TNT from a distance I tuned the AI ​​pretty well for these enemies and i have to say the sword and shield jackals are kind of scary.

The code I added to make this work is an unbelievable mess and pushes the game engine beyond its limits but it works and trust me when I say it's a miracle that it works so yeah now you can enjoy this racing game in the middle of your shooter game, oh and for anyone worried that this is an edition not fit for war, I actually went ahead and added two new scenes that give perfectly logical explanations as to why there is a Great Five race award smack dab in the middle of the Halo campaign, so yeah, all is well.
The players don't. Don't worry about it, another fun addition to the mod is the new types of grenades. The new D20 Frag Grenades have been vastly improved. Originally they had about 40 possible random outcomes and now they have over 90. Almost anything is possible when you throw one. of these stupid grenades from a minecraft chest full of goodies to a flashbang and nuclear detonation oh the plasma the plasma grenade has also been reworked to be more chaotic and less heavy and overall works much better than previous versions. have the TNT block grenade which is mostly thrown by the Covenant craft troops and it works pretty much the same, though you have to keep in mind that they are very temperamental and if you shoot one or accidentally hit one with another grenade it will probably kill you and to the type of final grenade. in this mod is the throwing boar which sure is and speaking of little boars let's go ahead and talk about the library. some flooding in the middle so i redesigned it a bit and made it a cooperative driving level.
The idea is really simple instead of blasting your way through flood hordes alone, you and your best friend Sergeant Johnson just blast your way to the finish in style. and this change makes the level not only half as long but twice as much fun. Most of that enjoyment is of course thanks to the vocal butcher who voiced over 300 new lines for Sergeant Johnson and of course I also spent quite a bit of time integrating Johnson into the levels he is able to see and hear. what's going on and respond with the appropriate level of self-referential dialogue despite contagious protocols get effective weapons how about I kick your ass? how does that sound? basically what i'm trying to say i made the library a little bit fun and that's an achievement oh and also one more little thing about this level.

I don't know why I did this in the original Cursed Halo. I never touched the Sentinels. I just didn't know what to do with them. at the time and i just left them alone but with the wonders of modern computing i finally made a momentous breakthrough in comedy technology now they say pew when they shoot oh and also the aperture labs sent me some prototype sentinels which they are very interesting. I even have a slim chance of dropping an ar2 if you kill them oh ok you see the joke is I could have imported the model for the actual ar2 from Half-Life but instead I just copy pasted the Halo Assault Rifle model and I also renamed it Assault Rifle so it's also an AR, post your laugh in the comments below. a wider variety of weapons, including some small variants of Enchanted, and there are now a dozen different Minecraft potions as well, including drinking potions and throwable splash potions, and the best part is that they all appear as unidentified potions, so you have no idea what any of them do and i'm not going to tell you that you just have to try them and try to remember what they do based on what color they have and while it's pretty sadistic game design it's far from it the worst.
Added to this mod another edit where I spent quite a bit of time on tool guns. There are now a dozen different tool guns in the mod and each one has a unique function, some of them are useful some of them are chaotic and some of them are um personally my favorite is the pool tool gun, pairs really well with a diamond ax that has the recoil enchantment on it oh and of course an honorable mention to the Thruster tool gun it's an absolute treasure as well but my overall favorite addition to the mod might still be the really big gun that I showed off at the beginning, it was obviously inspired by an old hypervideo that a lot of people are familiar with and yeah, it's super satisfying.
I even set up custom impacts so that when you press like a grunt or something it just vaporizes them and sprays blood all over the walls around it it's like modern art but actually i think me and with that let's go ahead and move on to our last little topic here , which is multiplayer freaking Halo version 1 had a set of multiplayer maps that were interesting but Halo freaking version 2 didn't have those multiplayer maps because I couldn't be asked to update them.
