GUEST BATHROOM REFRESH | SPRING EDITION

GUEST BATHROOM REFRESH | SPRING EDITION
hi lovelies welcome back to my channel so today I figured I would show you guys how I decorated my

bathroom

and got it

spring

ready for my

guest

s so let's jump right in so starting with the shower curtain basically what I did is just I used the two shower curtains that I had already with me so what you see my husband doing here is he placed the shower curtains all the way up as far as he could go the white shower curtain rod is a little further in towards the actual shower and then the silver one is going to act as the decorative one and that one we placed more on the outside so here he is just placing the shower curtain liner which is a extra-long size and I will link that below for you guys because I had to purchase that from Amazon it wasn't available in stores so I'm going to be using these outdoor curtain panels that I purchased online I will be using two of them in place of a traditional shower curtain and what I love about these is that they already are pretreated for high-traffic water so you won't have any issues with any kind of like mildew or anything and I also love the fact that they are velcro tabs so they're super easy to install my husband it took him like I don't know a minute to install these fairly quickly so if you guys have a double curtain rod you can absolutely use that as well but the point of the overall look achieved is this right here so I love that you basically create like a bigger space by bringing up the height of the...

shower curtain all the way to the top as you would in you know a room using regular curtain panels so this is a very inexpensive way to create a bigger space in your

bathroom

and as you can see here I'm just showing you the opening of the panels and yeah I really like this look and I will link these below for you guys if you guys are interested but they are fairly inexpensive and they come in several colors so I actually came across this really pretty photo frame in HomeGoods and it was marked down to $12 on clearance just because it had like a few scratches and it was a little dinged up but I figured I could definitely make it work and give it some love and fix it up and it would be perfect for what I was looking to do in my

bathroom

with it and I didn't have to spend a lot of money so um I figured I would just channel my inner Martha Stewart DIY self and I headed to Michaels and picked up some really pretty full plant leaves which are these ones right here and I got this whole bundle for just a few bucks of course I used a coupon so they came out to about $4 and I only needed two of the bundle but I figured I could save the bundle for a future project I also picked up this warm silver metallic paint from Michaels as well and again I used a coupon so it only came out to a few bucks so I gave each of the leaves about three coats of the silver paint and then I let it dry for anywhere from three to four hours it was about three and a half hours before I decided to...

frame them so this is what they look like after they finished drawing completely i love the sheen that little metallic silver that it has and you can totally do these and so many other colors they would also look super pretty and gold but since I have like silvers and whites in my

bathroom

that is the look that I want for it but feel free to use whatever color fits in your deck or to I popped into Michael's and I picked up this really nice quilted it has like an ivory sheen to it I don't know if the camera can pick it up very well but I decided this is what I was going to use as the background for my leaves and I did pick this up in the scrapbook section of Michaels they have so many colors and textures to pick from so if you guys have another look in mind you can definitely choose to go with like a different one I just thought that this would blend in really nice but it would still give it some texture so it pops against the white mat and would also look really pretty once the silver leaves were on I'm just using my hot glue gun to put just a little bit of glue on the back of the leaves just to kind of keep it in place but once the mat and everything and it's in its frame it's not gonna move much but I just wanted to secure it just the top bit so don't go crazy with the glue gun it doesn't need a lot of glue just a little bit to kind of keep them in place so once I get it to where I want it and I know that it looks really nice I basically just...

tape the whole frame all the way around and the reason I do tape is because I can always change the look of this frame in the future and it would be easier versus gluing it so you guys did see this in a post that I put in my YouTube as a little sneak peek for my

bathroom

refresh

but I picked these up at HomeGoods and I just thought that they were so pretty like the Cree and the white design I thought would be just perfect in my

bathroom

and I did pick up the entire set so I and just showing you guys here like the prices but they're a great price and great value I love this brand the Tahari I love all of their home products so here I decided to use the white ribbon that the new towels came with and just basically recycle them and I thought that these towels would look super cute with like a little white ribbon tied around them into a bowl so it's just another way to display your decorative towels you totally do not have to do this it's optional you can leave them as is and they would also look just as pretty I just saw for this look I liked it so that's what I'm basically just doing here you guys are more than welcome to use another pretty ribbon if you have them or even like a nice tassel or just anything that you have that you would like to display on them so after I fought with the HomeGoods tag for a little bit I rinsed this pretty decorative jar that I picked up from home goods and got it nice and dry and ready I loved the crystal top it really...
sold me so I just thought it was like the perfect little touch of glam that this

bathroom

needed but I just picked up these cotton pads from the Dollar Tree and that's what I'm filling this little jar up with I also picked up these acrylic silk dispensers from home goods I picked up two of the same ones they were $12.99 each and I plan to use one for hand soap and the other for hand lotion I just really like the acrylic design it's just like a nice clean sleek design thought it would be really nice for the

bathroom

so I picked up this really nice basket from home good I just fell in love with the washed out gray color I thought it looked really nice with all the other pieces that I picked up from them as well and I am a big fan of displaying my towels especially in the

bathroom

and in the laundry room just because I just love the look of flush clean towels so that's basically what I'm doing here that's the purpose of this basket is to simply display my big body towels as not only deck but of course your

guest

s could use them as well you guys I scored this adorable little waste basket at Burlington Coat Factory and the best part was that it was only 399 so this completes my

bathroom

refresh

for

spring

I hope you guys enjoyed this video and I've been able to have inspired you to redo your

bathroom

as well or at least you know give it a little

refresh

for

spring

I didn't spend too much money like I said you know I did do some DIYs and I just...
picked up a few pieces that I knew that I was gonna be keeping for a long time but I like that it just looks very nice and put together and I know that my

guest

s will definitely appreciate it and I really enjoy it as much as I will throughout the

spring

season I love you guys thank you so much for all of your continued support and I guess I will chitchat with you guys on the next video and I really appreciate you guys for watching bye
