Game Theory: FNAF, Another Mystery SOLVED!

May 30, 2021
and an army, hello internet, welcome to

game

theory

, the show that, without exaggeration, is thinking of approaching scott coffin so that we can jointly purchase the rapidly disappearing chuck e cheese restaurant franchise so that we can transform them into what should always be real. FNAF World Experiences, hell, they already took care of the terrible pizza. We could probably even sell the idea to YouTube originals and do an entire series on how to transform pizzerias into horror-themed dining experiences that would also help mitigate the cost of doing it all. No joke, Scott, this is something we absolutely can and probably should do.

Up to this point, the Fazbear Frights books have given us interesting concepts to analyze, flesh out the world of FNAF, and give us new insights into events we already knew quite well. It's certainly been useful, but animatronics nothing so momentous can have people stuck inside them confirmed directly in book one people can have animatronics stuck inside them confirmed in book three everything is driven by human agony the incident of missing children probably happened in 1985 animatronics can steal identities humans can swap bodies with animatronics golden freddy might have multiple souls trapped inside him ghosts could escape their animatronic prisons to attract more people to them, as if there were many things in all of these stories, which is why I've been covering these books so much, but the story of the ones that come one step closer is narrowed down. are attacking some of the biggest questions that still exist in these games, the ones presented to us by the two most frustrating games in the franchise in f4 and fnaf6, questions that are still hotly debated by the fnaf community, so today we are looking at the The first of those debates is the one related to Fnaf 4 and, seeing what those answers mean for the rest of the series, today we confirm the identity of this guy, the older brother, Foxy Bro, very quickly, although before getting to the heart of it. of this theory, let's look quickly.

Let's speed our way through probably the least important story of this new trio, the middle one titled Dance with Me. We cover Casey, a young woman who comes from a tragic childhood. She lives on the street stealing purses and purses. One day she steals from a mother. and a girl outside of the circus baby's pizza world who, we're told, has a big red door that alerts us to potentially important details. Anyway, one of the items she catches is a set of paper cups when Casey leaves. he puts them on and sees a hologram of Ballora. spinning in the distance missed by this, she makes other people try on the glasses and no one else manages to see Ballora from that moment on, every time she puts on the glasses, the hologram gets closer and closer, which begins to scare her. until the point. of her leaving town and trying to put her life back together in the hopes that Ballora will leave her alone a couple of cities and failed jobs.
Later, Casey finally decides to return the stolen items to her mother and daughter in hopes that it will make peace. The family welcomes her and forgives her, but when little Isabella puts on the glasses she not only sees Ballora but immediately starts dancing, it is a very vague ending because it is not clear if Ballora, who was one step away from catching Casey, get the girl. because she's the one who puts on the glasses next and the dance is the girl being possessed or is it the girl just excited to be dancing alongside one of her favorite characters ballora anyway there's not much to talk about with this one, the Technology is super weird Freddy is apparently advanced enough to have holograms that work in cheap kids' paper cups, which would be pretty weird, but there's also the added weirdness that holograms can interact with the physical world we see along. throughout history and that this hologram of Ballora raises leaves. and makes them swirl around her to quote the story, there was a pure Ballora wedding among the colorful autumn leaves as she spun, the bright leaves were sucked into her vortex for a few seconds, Casey admired the beauty, but then she thought, wait If Ballora is just an image a hologram then how is she affecting the objects around her? there was no point welcome to the world of being a fnaf theorist casey there was no point get ready to get that tattooed on your forehead but in all seriousness he does it raises a big question: is she actually a hologram or is she just invisible and the glasses of some How do they reveal it?
It is not clear today. I'm going to talk a lot about those weird little details that seem so strangely specific for a book to mention. It seems like the book is trying to tell us something and this seems like one of them, but hey, I could spend a lot of time trying to figure it out, as far as I know, holographic or invisible animatronics haven't existed in the franchise yet, so we'll have to cross that bridge when it becomes important unless, damn, it could be a ghost animatronic. No, no, they do not interact with the real world.
Is this the last point to make about this story? Although it is her recurring theme from Mothers and Motherhood Much of the backstory we have about Casey is our troubled relationship with her mother, who has played a large role in how she ended her life the way she did. that she did it. Casey throughout the story is also visited by an older woman on a bus. station that gives her grandmother advice is saved from the police by

old woman she makes peace with that mother and her daughter who have a relationship that she envies I mean, it could be me overthinking this big surprise but I'm not sorry It's a coincidence that Ballora is the main animatronic appearing in a story about maternal relationships.
I had a theory a long time ago, two years ago, that Ballora was some sort of stand-in for Mrs. Afton. Don't get out of your head in any creepy way. the gutters, i mean she represents the wife that william afton lost or divorced or, most likely, that she abandoned after her daughter was devastated by the baby. I mean, just look at the song Ballora sings in Sister Location, why? hide inside your wall when there's music in my living room all I see is an empty room no more joy an empty tomb also known as the bedroom of our tragically deceased child William hides inside his walls diving even deeper into his work it's something that William's partner Henry does in the original trilogy of novels, when he loses his daughter, shuts out the rest of the world, hides behind his walls and becomes obsessed with his work to try to bring her back, for so when William does this in the games his wife is left alone and probably ends up leaving him as such he has some kind of coping mechanism.
William recreates her in animatronic form depicting her with her eyes perpetually closed because to William she was blind to what was happening. What to do to rebuild the family blind to the fact that her job was so important she wanted to move on to doing frivolous things like singing, spinning and dancing, or at least that's what he felt from his perspective. William Afton was in his own misery over the loss, as I said, it's a bit of a stretch and something I've talked about slightly before, but I thought the connection between Ballora and the mothers in this story was particularly interesting and worth mentioning outright. anyway.
Next, to the real story I want to address today, one step closer, which not only generates new theories, but confirms things. About what we have discussed for years, we meet Pete, a 16-year-old boy who, due to his parents' divorce, has to take care of his little brother, Chuck the Chump, one day while watching him at a Freddy Fazbear's pizzeria. Pete is upset about having to be responsible. one decides to scare chuck a little by taking him backstage to see an out of order foxy. Pete turns on the machine and Chuck runs away leaving Pete alone to be seemingly hypnotized by Foxy's performance a performance that repeats a line over and over again you can be a pirate but first you'll have to lose an eye and an arm and from there You can probably guess what will happen in the next few days.
Pete suffers multiple accidents that endanger his eye or his arm. A scalpel almost hit him in the eye. science class a butcher knife almost cuts his hand off at the store a circular saw blade shoots him from a nearby construction site a fishing line catches him in the face and he almost loses a hand with a Chinese finger trap at the carnival of school anyway, the two brothers finally make peace and realize that Pete needs to confront Foxy to break a curse. Pete runs to Freddy's house, but in his panic he is hit by an oncoming truck and killed out of nowhere.
You don't see it coming because you feel so bad for this kid, you're like, "Oh, he apologized to his brother, they have a good relationship, they have a plan to get Pete out of this after they mistreated him for most of the week." that carries". his way of closing the story and then bam it just ends and that would be where the story ends except for one thing pete is still alive which we pick up in the hospital where pete's soul is trapped inside his own corpse pete. is an against his will organ donor I might add, thank you so much for signing me up for that mom and they just received an emergency request for, you guessed it, one eye and one hand, Pete is forced to watch helplessly as his body is disarmed by Surgeons as I said at the beginning of this episode, this story is shocking.
What's even more shocking is the confirmation of history we get in this thing. The story of Pete 100 confirms to us that Foxy Bro, the oldest child of FNAF4, who repeatedly traumatizes his younger brother before eventually getting him bitten in the jaws of fredbear, that is without a doubt michael afton 100, without a doubt it is something we strongly suspected for a while and something later evidence began to call into question, but this story that happened five years after that game's initial release finally clears it up. to us there are obviously some superficial similarities here pete has a little brother who is afraid of animatronics just like foxy bro has a boy who cries his little brother who is afraid of animatronics pete is connected to foxy throughout the story by just like foxy mask brotherPete and Chuck's parents are divorced just as it seems that William and Mrs.
Afton are in the game, leaving the older brothers alone to take care of their younger brothers. At one point in the story, Pete's hand begins to turn purple, which tells us remember michael afton and the sister's location turns physically purple and lastly there is the final scene where pete should be dead but isn't, which exactly mirrors michael afton's iconic words of a father, it's me , michael, I should be dead, but I'm not, but it's all just a bunch of weak parallels between foxy bro and michael and michael and pete and foxy bro and pete how do we know for sure that these three characters are connected? one word gum.
People ask me a lot how I come up with these theories and more often. Instead, it's small details that stick out as out of place for the author or game designer to include, as if they were deliberately putting these details there to try to point something out to us and this particular story. strange detail about Pete's character is that he chews a lot of gum on page four, he is chewing watermelon gum while looking at his brother later when he is scared by the sneaky animatronic, the book mentions that he swallowed that gum, okay, he's Well, it's something unique, no.
Big deal, but later, on the way to the butcher shop, we're told that, quote, he stuffs a wad of watermelon gum in his mouth on the boat fishing with his dad. He wishes he had brought his watermelon gum. He is mentioned a lot in this short. enough story that it piqued my senses of fear and made me bookmark it for research later Now obviously at no point during Fnaf 4 or heck in any of the games do we see a character actively chewing gum, that would be silly but that's not it the only place. Let us see these characters at this point, let me direct your attention again to the FNAF Survival Log Book, who knew that a book with dabbing girl as an active selling feature would become the most important element in resolving the story of this franchise. for those of you.
I don't remember this little gem, it's the log book originally owned by Mike, as we see on the title page, which helped us solve Cassidy's name and wouldn't you know it, but today it's also what will reveal Michael to us. afton's true identity page 49 quote list 10 bad habits you'd like to break number one chewing gum excessively i mean, there it is as clear as day pete chews gum excessively michael afton chews gum excessively pete finally turns purple and comes back to life after being dead michael afton finally turns purple and comes back to life after being dead pete is an older brother scaring his younger brother using foxy foxy bro in fnf4 is an older brother scaring his younger brother with foxy pete equals michael and michael equals foxy bro from fnaf 4 fact confirmed

another

character's identity locked, this detail has been in the logbook for years waiting to be used, awesome, well done Scott, well done and this confirmation tells us everything we need to know about Michael's motivation for the rest of the game series. he's avenging his brother's death, which he made happen when Gold and Freddy's appearances are accompanied by the words it's me, it's literally the younger brother saying it's me, I'm here for his older brother, but of course, of course, of course, it never is.
Just like that, this same security log book, something that has been so instrumental in solving so many mysteries in this franchise, poses so many challenges because I'm sure here you just confirmed the connection to Foxy Bro, but it also has lines like these, page 103, for which the party was. you page 75 still talking to you in reference to psychic friend fredbear? page 23 was your favorite childhood toy a purple plastic telephone page 20 what do you remember and the most problematic thing of all page 31 do you remember your name? All these questions seem direct to the crying boy, the party was for him, his favorite toy was the purple telephone.
Fredbear spoke to him and never to Foxy Bro, as far as we know, in fact these are the exact questions that led us to dismiss the Foxy Michael connection so many times. Years ago, why would the spirit of this book, Cassidy, be telling Mike things that are very clearly true about the crying boy, if Mike was in fact the older brother all along, as the latter just confirmed to us? Fazbear horror story? Has no sense. That's why we now have to solve these last two questions. That you remember? Do you remember your name? I mean, yeah, I remember my name.
It's Mike. I wrote Mike on the first page of the book. It is not like this? Unless Mike was never really mine. Name the question that we have left and the question that I ask you and that I still need time to think about is what did Michael forget and how did he forget that he was the bite victim of '87 and that's how he lost his memory. Did any type of other trauma affect him? caused memory loss and, more importantly, is there any other strange connection between Michael and the crying boy? Seriously, why would the book say the party was for Michael when FNAF 4 clearly tells us it can't?
I don't think this is just some kind of typo or something that this book is designed so precisely to be the lynchpin of too many mysteries in this franchise for that to be the case, so could that connection between the two brothers be The reason why Michael's name could somehow be different will all be theories for another day, my friends, but at least for now we are one step closer to getting the answers we have been searching for so long, so maybe Maybe that's why the story is called One Step Closer. because otherwise the title of a story about a boy who loses an eye in his arm just doesn't make much sense next time we tackle susie and his connections to fnaf6.
In the meantime, remember that Food Theory exists as a channel and you should subscribe, help us surpass one million subscribers. I know you guys can help us do it and if you like what we do here, you'll love what we do there too, so stay on that channel I'm on. It was a blast and like I said, if you like videos about scary restaurants and pizza, well, we have episodes about the dark tradition of KFC and, hell, even today's episode about how pizza is technically a sandwich link is on the screen. right now is a channel that has given you a lot of interesting things that you can leave in front of your friends and family so that they no longer roll their eyes when you talk about the animatronic murder, now you can blow them away with things that they might really understand and I care, so check it out, subscribe so we can get closer to the million subscriber mark and I'll see you all next week.
